I first installed it on my gaming desktop and yeah its great. The ntbk not really for gaming but it was slow so I thought maybe I could change the OS. So pretty much, two comps of mine run on Windows 7. The catch is that the beta expires at August 1 =(.

Coming from XP, I'd say it looks nice. The UI is pretty much improved. I've seen the UI of Vista and I would say that it is improved. You can look up vids on youtube : ). They say the UI looks like a Mac. I dun own a mac so I dunno. It has DX11 API (Even if no GPU with DX11 support yet but coming from XP, this is very nice). Best of all, I installed it on a laptop with 512MB and it runs with 389MB with no apps running. I would recommend 1GB RAM but hey, it works.

its in the same place in vista...hidden files though so make sure you click file properties and show hidden folders. Laxy microsoft couldnt be bothered to remove it from the system32 files in vista!
