  • some use wax. some use water putty.

  • dont use beeswax on the slate seams!!!!!!! This is ridiculous!!!

  • @bhustlerz i'm not a beeswax scientist. i'm a really good pool player. probably can beat you. but anyway, it's been 1 year now and the seams are still great and the table plays near perfect....(as perfect as any other table i've ever played on....which is many). is there something better? dunno. sounds like you do but i'm happy right now. please enlighten us.

  • @bhustlerz ... Rediculous? Why? Are you an expert on pool table installation? Please, do enlighten us. Please... really.

    ???

  • this shout be in american funny home videos

  • i see your using melted wax chips , not recomended because used melted wax does'nt stick well if reused allways melt new wax

  • dude, thanks so much. great suggestion. i would have never known.

  • beeswax is non-degradable, re-melting 1000 times wouldn't have any effect on the bonding properties it has naturally

if the bee-keepers extracted the wax from hives and melted into blocks the first time, wouldn't the 'first' application to the pool table be actually be 're-used'?

  • @tazztt1 lol.....good point.... i think maybe he just didn't heat it long enough for it to merge properly with the other wax....or maybe he had defective bees
