he does say that "i feel like there's some something corporate love in here".. as in he is playing as Jacks Mannequin but playing a SoCo song.. so i think the label of the song is correct

@Aarons2c If you're talking about the 2000s, he's up there, but Brandon Flowers of the Killers and Jack White of TWS are tough to beat. The crossover guys, Tom Delonge/Mark Hoppus, Billie Joe Armstrong, Dave Matthews, Grohl...90s-00s guys are hard to beat.

i love blink, old school greenday and the fooies... but if you look a little deeper at andrew mcmahons music, you will find a depth and honesty that i have seen from few other song writers throughout the history of modern music
