I had an Escort RS1600i then a mk1 turbo. Both were brilliant cars, although as they were front wheel drive, the power delivered made it difficult for the front wheels to steer aswell. I tended to get a lot of under-steer. I still love them both to this day though

i had one four years ago.. absolutley mint.. refurbed wheels, seats were like new.. ltd edition RS500 "rs" steering wheel... and just cause it got a misfire i sold it for £1500!! what a dick.. i could have slaped in a new engine thinking back to it now!

I had 2 S1's in my younger years, one (1986 custom VRM C110UAJ) was an ex RSOC show car and was beautiful.

My brother now has an 85 custom he is restoring, drove it recently, was so weird after many years being back in a mk3 Rs S1, but it felt nice!
