  • I've never heard this song played as an oldie on any radio stations...ever. I guess they were afraid kids would act out all the lyrics lol.

  • So did Da Crusher really do the vocals on this song.

  • Bahaha! He says "turkey necks"! Hello Joe Spurgeon..

  • Can't believe this was on Parrot! Could there be a Tom Jones cover lurking somewhere in the vaults? All told it really don't matter! This is complete in it's greatness! One more thing that we have the late great Lux Interior of The Cramps to be thankful for! RRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYGGGGGGGGGGGEEE!

  • @quieterrps Sorry, this was done when Lux was still shitting his diapers!

  • @RedVynil My point was that I never would've heard the tune at all if it weren't for The Cramps excavating the tune. Hearing the original is icing on the grave!

  • @quieterrps I see! Sorry, mate. I've only had the chance to hear a few of the Cramps' records ("Human Fly" was my fave!), so I never knew they did this song. (It DOES sound like their style!!) When you've got 50,000 records like I do, you HAVE to be picky about what you buy due to lack of space. I liked The Cramps, but wasn't enough of a fan to buy everything they did.

  • Barney from Napalm Death went back in time. :D

  • Heard a time or two on Dr. Demento. This is one of the more valuable HOT 100 singles--a good copy fetches over 100 bucks.

  • Why did Crypt take "Crater Soda" off Back From The Grave Vol. 2? I can't find that fucker anywhere, and it's not on the reissues!

  • Truly amazing.

  • This is great! I have the volume cranked up real loud for this one!

  • Haha! The band probably didn't take themself too seriously considering that the vocals sound growled and not quite serious. Death metal bands must have thought very different about that. :P

  • RIP!!!

Long live the memory of Da Crusher and Bruiser and all Da Bums Day Beat up!!!

  • Late 1964...I do remember it well. I believe the "singer" was a former professional wrestler, which might explain it all! How does one "Do the Eye Gouge"?

  • hahahaaha, AWESOME! what a sweet, sweet voice.... ;)

  • This is sooo funny!! Thanks for sharing!

  • Sheer genius!!!LOL

  • never thought i would ever hear this one again. thanks youtube!

  • I remember listening to this on AM radio, on my cheesy little transistor radio, way, way back in the stoned age...

  • Dr Demento favorite-try it once a day, boys and girls!

  • I'm goonna get ya, all of ya, in the ring.

  • Do the EYE-GOUGE, You TURKEY-NECKS!!

  • one of the coolest songs ever recorded !!!! yeahhhhhhhhhhhhh, groovy baby

  • it remains me of stardust cowboy

  • A powerful tune!... THE CRUSHER: It would be possible to be the hymn for all the trashmen in the world that use crushers all the way! :)

  • I bought this single this year.

  • That is the most random thing I have EVER heard!!!!!!!!!
