When you see someone famous up close, it's like looking at a statue and seeing their imperfections. To some people, they may think the imperfections make the statue or icon more beautiful.
In my case, I am more critical of his flaws, it shakes me off of the infatuation but I still admire the guy in aesthetic ways.
hey George if i was ever to meet you and we get to hang out i want us to hang out with Ryan Reynolds lol i think it would be soooo fun lol!!!!! for real i know it.
why do people keep saying, i hope this isnt the end of OLP, he said in the interview that they are working on there new album.. so calm down people, i dont think its the end
if anyone wants to know what OLP stand for its "OUR LADY PEACE". thats a shame that they arent played in a lot of the US. great band. and i agree it better not be the end of OLP
i have never heard of him or his band until david cook on american idol sang innocent, after that i started looking them up on myspace and youtube and wow! I am obsessed with them now! OLP!! =]]
Damnn you must either be really young or have never listened to the radio. I can't turn on the radio here without hearing em. Not that that's a bad thing.
i live in america and olp is my favorite band. but nobody knows about them here.
i never hear them on the radio and it's a damn shame. i'm trying to introduce people to them. and btw david cook didn't play innocent very well at all.
i hope this solo album doesn't mean an end to olp though. it's ok to make a solo album but he needs to stay with the band.
wow!!! thats totaly true i mean im peruvian and here nobody listen that kind of music just me and some friends but anyway olp its one of my favorite bands too and i really hope that this solo doesnt be the end of the band like you say raine maida its amaizing!!xD
They're on the radio all the time in Buffalo. Maybe it's just the proximity to Canada, but there's always Canadian bands, like OLP and The Tragically Hip (my two favorite bands of all time)
oh rele? thats cool. ive been told u get 104.5 from Toronto in Buffalo and borerline cities/towns and they play a lot of Canadian music as well. I'm glad u get them down there.
after all the overproduction of happy in paranoid times i can tell he needed that time alone.... hunter's lullaby is a beautiful album, he's always had the edge in my book as a true and original artist, an was always an inspiration to me, can't wait for the new olp album
raine maida is awsome. big fan of olp and him. but raine seems to be bothered with all the corruption in the world and third world devastation so much its takin over his life.
really? i only wish everyone especially people in a greater position to make a difference , could dedicate themselves more to real causes. there is a lot of fucked up shit going on in the world. People need to break out of their safety net, and start realizing that the world is not only about them.
what a downer
