  • this is cool! did you just leave the camera filming in your window all day?

  • No, I think it was about over a period of an hour. It's filmed in winter so it got dark very quickly.

I just left my MacBook in the window, and used a piece of software that took pictures at regular intervals. Then the software encode all the pictures in to video. If you want to know anything else just ask :)

  • awesome! i just downloaded the free trial and it looks amazing! i just need something to time elapse now. this would also be good for stop motion videos!

how do you have it be created into one video? or is it just something it automatically does after it's done with the photos?

  • how'd u do it buddy?

  • Hi ^_^

I used a piece of software called frame thief. Then I set it to take pictures at regular intervals. I think frame thief can render out the pictures as a video.

If you need more help just drop me a message :)

  • i so know exactly where you live now.

  • I am a little bit scared!

  • lol. well i wouldnt have a clue if i didnt live where i do XD

  • Thank you very much, I also have a time elapse video of me putting together my video together.

I plan on making another time elapse from my window, that one was just a very short one although it is over a few hours!
