the 40 is a service pistol so you picked up a 1911 in 45? What do you think the 1911 was designed to do? Hint, it was the US service pistol for a "few" years. The 40 is a defensive/service round. Pick your plastic pistol and stick with it.
I have a crossbreed supertuck and I'm 6'2"". 250lbs . I carry a les Baer thunder ranch special. With a t shirt it doesn't print. You can't tell I'm carrying.
@derekgrebner87 --I'm not too optimistic but with Brady likely to replace Quinn and Daley leaving and McDonald decision maybe things will start going our way. a website for you to checkout..Illinois carry dot com
I had a supertuck for my Sig P250 before I sold them both. Great holster, great company, great service. A little steep on price for what it is I guess, but still worth it. I'll likely never by a KHolster; Not because it's an obvious blatant ripoff of the ST, but because the owner basically denies drawing any inspiration from crossbreed designs. That just doesn't fly with me. Give credit where it's due, and don't act like you're being original when people call you out on it.
I have two Kholsters, ST clones. I carry a full size 9mm(Taurus PT809) and a sub compact(PT709) in mine. They are very comfortable.
Since they are IWB holsters, I do not see retention as an issue. Between the belt over the top of the holster and having a cover garment, the gun is not going anywhere.
I would also recommend J-Hooks, they are much less apparant than the standard clips.
Make sure you practice drawing. The more the better.
@MegaGevehr well yes they are level one, but I would call the tucked in shirt a second level of retention. I wouldnt say the look bad but then again who gives a damn when its covered anyway.
@DaytonaRoadster Yeah, that makes sense. I was watching gangland the other day, and came up with an idea to solve the gun-crime problem. If you're a known gang member, with gang tats, flashing gang signs, and you get caught with a gun, then BAM! mandatory 25 years to life son.
Be careful that you don't SHOOT yourself!!!

Hey bro, I have a very broad stature, 5'9 205 lbs lean.
You think I could get away with concealing an XDm 45 in this without compromising concealment?

Damn, lol, look at Tex's vidjas from a year ago. And compare them to his ass today.
I actually hate how the super tucks look, and they're only level one retention. I guess I'm either a level 2/3 or Mexican carry guy, lol.

What, you can't open carry in IL either? I didn't think it was even possible to have a state gayer than CA.

@YourTacticalGuru its only cause of Chicago, the entire state fucking hates chicago
