you might need to watch all my other vid s ..using no way as way ..is how we work being a JKD person,I do push my students to train real ,train hard.Chi Sau is not fighting but when you add other elements it makes it more combative ..but thank you for your viewing ..be well
hold on though this is chi sau, when do you see anyone rolling around on the floor inh locks? its a game!! you would not go up and start chi sauing in the street and get someone in a lock... sorry but weird interpretation of the game , if you chi sau is good you dont need that much energy of course many locks are available but the reason you don't see them being practiced in chi sau is cos they dont belong there!
Thank you suckmyarseb lol got to say one heck of a name ya got there ,anyway true this wouldnt work in a fight ,fights are not drills but drills build skills :)
@suckmyarseb Everyone needs a little luck in a fight but one thing is sure if you dont do these drills then you for sure wont be able to get any one of these techniques to work. And besides a lot of this stuff is meant to stop a fight from happening in the first place. On the street people are not always going to square off as if in the ring. They may try to push you or put their hands on you in any number of ways but it would be dumb to say square off with a boxer and then try to Chi Sao.
@dutch04 lol contrary to popular beleif no martail art fough square except for early fist figting(russian or englsih bare knuckle until daniel mendoza) the chinese are though to have fought squared based soley on modern interpretation by people who arts was diluted by lac field use ie onset of modern china cause ppl to no pass on or record the uses of the movements they practiced.
I really enjoyed that video Keith nice explanation on how to be more relaxed with chi sao and experiment with it I like how you transitioned to the takedowns. Very nice work. Thumbs up.
Cody's face is classic when you rolled him on the first throw...lol

@MrBenEllis
They belong any where you want them. Haing no way as way means we can play the game anyway that we can, as long as we can make it flow.
