The poet made my heart crying. I visualized the whole scene. Couldn't bear the mother's sorrow, seeing the kids playing under the mango tree, how can she bear her lost son and the "manga kothiyan"

Salute the poet, because this is my most favorite poem from the 5th standard. Thank you Unnikrishnan Sir for narrating it so lovely, that this why this poem is still my most fav. Love u all

right frm childhood i loved this song very much, i used to hug my mom so close wen i ever i think of this song or if she sang it..

i clearly remember once she cried while she sang it n i wasnt feeling well then, might be the fear of loosing me.... somechildhood memories last for ever.
