  • WTF maded you wanna try this ?

  • see, when i did this to my sneakers, i read the label on the barge cement, it states that you should wait at least 5 minutes before sticking the parts together

  • when r u making a new vid

  • We need a new bid guys no

    Pressure

  • where u get the instrumentals. love the guitar playing in the background

  • TRY SHOE GOO!

  • I would just buy a new pair. I can imagine running to class and my J's falling apart lmao. Then its on to the next state

  • I went to their website to order some of that "sauce" and they haven't even replied to my order! Bad business..... Smfh

  • So true.

  • make some flip flops outta that

  • The reason why the sole didn't stick it because u wanted to long to put the mid on the sole

  • subscribe please and well sub back?

  • Can we see the finished product?

  • Comment removed

  • i am planning to do this to my og 6s to make them wearable again. when i was taking the midsole apart, there is a piece in the center of the shoe that when taken off exposes the cardboard. i had to take it off to clean it off. should i reglue it down, of just use the new one from my donor shoe?

  • at 6:30 he says "im just going H.A.M.

    Hard

    As a

    Motherfucker

  • damn, really diggin this right now, (record scratch) XD hilarious

  • @restoremysneakers do you know how to remove scuff marks from foamposites?

  • best chance is talking to actual professionals. you cant just mke those two pieces bond just by using some cement and hand pressure .you need some massive pressure to make thst shit bond good.

  • Good luck on the sole swap project guys! I hope to see the finishing project. Quick question though. So I was wondering instead of clamps can you use like those big rubberbands that come with bundles of asperagus/whatever instead of those clamps?

  • haha lls damn

  • Totally random but i need help someone got a ketchup stain on my hare 7's on the nubuck and idk what to use to clean it i really need help hope you can get to me quick

  • @rp2306 hey man you can use the suede and nubuck foam cleaner from footlocker.

  • @MrWendellino I did and it came out looking like it never happen lol thank you (:

  • actually just a sole swap in general.

  • i need a cheap pair of 5's to do a midsole swap on my laney's. if anyone has that. please hit me up.

  • How much would you charge to fix my midsole on the Bred 13's?

  • How do you tell if a 1999 retro 4 is wearable? So many people tell me different things. "If the midsole is soft its wearable". "If the midsole is hard its wearable".

How do you really tell if a pair is wearable or not?

  • how would you clean nubuck?

  • @omgsothatsmatt theres a suede/nubuck cleaner at footlocker. these guys also use something called Lincoln EZ Cleaner :)

  • If you want some good beats, look up Blue Scholars. They have a lot of good beats and songs.

  • one you cant put so much glue or it will build up and you have to do it in parts first the back then front

  • This is why you should test products thoroughly before advertising them. So others wont waste $30 on some fail barge cement

  • i just got a thought. whenever you get the heel to line up.

maybe, since you added glue onto both pieces, do you think it would make any difference if you added the adhesive to one side and clamp?

possibly there is a bit much of the adhesive on the surface of BOTH parts. so maybe if it was added to one side and clamped down then it may stick better?

idk man just a thought. good luck with the project though :)

  • i really like this music

  • try nail glue i think the cement is to thick and creates a layer of glue.

  • I need help with the 6 rings carbon fiber

  • I feel bad for the people who took apart their 4's thinking, they can midsole swap when watching one of these videos.lmaoo

  • They squeak *

  • I have a question I need help with my cool grey 11 2010 release squeak on both shoes is there any way to stop that

  • Your not letting the contact cement dry enough before sticking together. More than 8 minutes.

  • do i see china lbj 9s in the background?

  • check out my new vid bro

  • suck that it failed, but dope vid

  • Well, tits.

  • Hey whts goin on..are you still selling the sauce for the icey..i really wnt to buy a bottle..please direct me to place to buy..thx

  • umm, when were you guys gonna do a video on removing soles from the shoes itself ? (in terms of seaglow or sauceing )

  • to save money why dont you just use air flight 89s? pretty sure it should be cheaper

  • first time ive ever heard him curse lol

  • Every time I do a swap I do a silicon adhesive and wipe the excess.

  • Going to have to let those things sit in thinner then wiping them off to get all that glue off. Sanding them down will make both surfaces uneven.

  • "DAMN REALLY DIGGIN THE BEAT RIGHT NOW" HAHAHAHA i actually was -____-

  • use super glue

  • I don't know the first thing about repairs or restoring sneakers, but what if you tried it backwards? Like gluing the the midsole to the upper, then apply the glue to the bottom of the foam and then to the outsole. Then put the upper on and step onto the outsole so the normal wear and bend of the foot could help the contact bond better. Just a suggestion, but like I said you know a lot more than I do. Keep up the good work and good luck!

  • lmao "this is what happens when shit doesn't go right. it aint all sunshine and rainbows" lmaoooo too funny

  • thats soooo frustrating, that happened when i was glueing my og obsidian 12s and i got so pissed but worked out pretty good at the end

  • same happened to me on my 2002 pearls i fucked up the glue and i didn't stick well on the sides

  • damn thats a sick ass beat playing in the background

  • Cool to see your videos on the midsole swap project, you guys inspired me to do a midsole swap myself and i just finished it with a pair of white cement 4s, thanks a lot for for your video tutorials, it helped a lot. I wouldn't quite call this video a fail, but it would be more like.......progressing towards the best technique, keep it up

  • @adim001234 I must ask: how was your technique different & successful in comparison? What worked that didn't quite work here? We'd all like to know :)

  • Can a sole swap work on jordan 3 and jordan 6 as well?

  • why dont you try putting e6000 on the edges that wont stick so good.. i saw you do it with the cool greys.

  • so i have some snake 11 lows... sole separation occurred.. would u be willing to fix ?

  • yo man its sick what u guys can do, i always watch ur vids. ur amazing but i think u should try this white past that litterly sticks to anything. u can find it at home depot..etc. i think Billy Mays used it to like atach a truck on a commercial lol. look into it tho..ask for a whiteglue paste at lows or home depot etc.

  • Hey restoremysneakers you gotta use master maxbond cement I do shoe repair for a living and its the only glue to use

  • @restoremysneakers I told you barges won't work you gotta get masters maxbond cement

  • ...i had the same problem, ended up use E6000 and i started gluing in sections, barge will work with the uppers to mid's no problem

  • 'I'm just going ham.'

    lmao.

  • Keep up the good work

Even though yall fucked up haha

  • its amazing what you can do

  • Do a review and on foot with jeans of the Chinas in the back.

  • du u guys noe how to whiten the heel tab of where the jumpman is on the air jordan 3?

  • Comment removed

  • try nd glue only one side on the heel

  • LOL at Damn, really diggingthis beat right now. xD

  • Try sanding off the heel using sandpaper and when gluing it together try it by stepping on the sole..

  • yo when you glue it just stand on the sole so the back stays down

  • Did you manually separate the soles, or did they just fall apart like that? I would like to perform a sole swap myself, but do not know how to go about the removal process...You guys do a vid on separating the soles?

  • @iStaySnazzy55 The donor shoe which was the Military Blue 4's was manually separated using a heat gun. We did a video on that process.

As for the Black/Red 4's, it was falling apart.

  • Happy new year!!

  • yooo quality video as always. I got a question do you have any idea how i can clean/whiten the mesh/fabric that is behind the netting of my air jordan retro 5 stealth?

  • @sumeetsancheti try cleaning it through the netting and also from inside of the shoes with a toothbrush and liquid dish soap. Make sure to thoroughly wash it out.

  • Nice try bro! (",)

  • maybe try gluing in sections, like first heel, then middle, then front

  • @sosbrigaders That's what I'm most likely going to try next. I might have to dust off that glue I bought earlier in the year that we made a teaser video about.

  • @restoremysneakers why dont you try using e6000 on the edges like you did on the coolgreys

  • is the air unit still functional? wasnt it popped when you first removed?

  • @KingPain14 the one seen in the video is from the Military Blue 4. It's in-cased in the midsole.

  • you should only apply barge cement to one surface...

  • jejeje un saludo desde mexico pero acalo hacemos mucho mejor y quedan como originales todo tu proceso no es efectivo pero buen intento saludos

  • @srt41283 gracias

  • I hope you get this sorted. Thanks.

  • Try E-6000

  • nice vid as always. what was the name of the beat that started around 2:00

  • Lol nice

  • I see those China's in the background !

  • Even though it was a "fail", you guys are a great source to learn from.

  • @ChezzBRO thanks we really appreciate it.

  • this shoeis really dragging its... heels :D

  • If i didnt get it the first time i would be like"FUCK THIS,FUCK THIS SHOE,FUCK MY LIFE"!

  • @WoogieSHATonU I did when my bro stopped recording lol

  • "Damn, really diggin this beat right now" hahaha.

  • @MindThatFool lol, glad you caught that. - the camera guy

  • shoe makers here uses rubber mallets when sticking 2 parts of a shoe ex misole to outter sole or sole to shoe upper. They also use contact cement. Good luck dude, HTH happy new year!
