ive always heard of rise against, i knew a couple songs by them, (prayer of the refugee, hero of war, help is on the way and make it stop) but i never rly got into them, than last thursday i got tickets to rise against, a day to remember, glassjaw and the menzingers. adtr is my favorite band, so i was so excited. i got there, the menzingers were great, glassjaw was too, adtr was amazing, than after rise against, i was like WHY HAVENT I LISTENED TO THEM BEFORE!!!!!!!!! RISE AGAINST FOREVER!!!!!!!

It kinda sounds like it's about being baptized. Like it's him and a girl and they may have been hesitant at first to convert but in the end he does feel a presence and declares he will follow even if she does not. i swear, the lyrical beat to this song made me think of Jungle Book. that.. Jungle Fever song, from the second movie?? the beginning, the way he enunciates his words.. it fit the tempo, somewhat.

i absolutely love rise against, i love how they sing about political and ethical things, instead of the same "my girlfriend left me fml" shit that every other band puts out. and even though their lyrics are raw, honest, and tell the harsh truth, their songs are always hopeful and show that life can be great, and we need to stick with each other. this song is great, i didnt like it at first and now its one of my fave rise against songs :)

Not sure if this is correct but a lot of people are saying this song is about having sex, and then having an abortion. The Midnight Hands would be the doctors performing the abortion. Lookup the meaning and you'll see the people suggesting this. Hope that helped :)
