I was born in '96 but because I'm Australian I had until '03 to live in the '90's, (See what I did thar? :3) and these shows were AWESOME! I, as a 15 year old turning 16 this year, can go and watch these cartoons without any shame or regret, not because of nostalgia, but because these shows were made to be good and not as a cash grab. With that in mind, I pity kids born in the '05 and such because when they're older and reminisce on what they watched as kids, they will be greatly disappointed...

I miss watching the old days cartoon in nickelodeon. The Wild Thornberry, Rugrats, Rocket Powers, Fairy God Parents, Jimmy Neutron, Ren & Stimpy, Hey Arnold, Spongebob Squarepants, Cat & Dog, and other 90's cartoon was best. I felt sorry for kids in 2000's never get the chance to watch golden era cartoon. They end up watch dick nick suckass show like Victorious, True Jackson VP, Big Time Rush, and other shits. Nickelodeon suppose to be cartoon not shitty shows.

True the 80's and 90's were some of the most kid/tween friendly decades when it came to shows, movies, books, games, and even foods, but although the world has changed a lot since then it's always good to remember that the older generations always usually don't like the next generations media etc. Although there was such a huge amount of amazing shows and movies out in that 20 year time period it does suck to see the quality shows dwindle to only 1 or 2 a channel.

It's funny how even just a year can make a difference with knowing these shows. My school is a friggen math power house, but I'm on the average learning level, so a lot of the people in my class are a grade behind me. Anyway, our teacher always has some pictures somewhere in her lesson, and one day she had all the Rocket Power characters.

I was one of the few who knew all the names.
