Yeah !!!! Mickey Moody.! Another, actually first, guitarist D.C. "stole" for Whitesnake....another band that got "harvested" for "other bands"..Not in the class with "Trapeze" but excellent musicians..
Are you talking recently or after Juicy Split? If it was after they split, he featured with Jon Hiseman in Tempest. He also featured with Allan Holdsworth. I was very fortunate to see him fromting the reformed Colosseum at the London Astoria back in the late 90's - he was standing in for Chris Farlowe. Other than that, I haven't heard much about him.
You're welcome. I'll see if I can find out anything else about the great man! I actually conducted an interview with him for my radio show here in South Africa when I saw him with Colosseum. A really decent and humble guy. I think I've still got that interview on tape somewhere....
Thanx again, Leon. I found out that he was on a british R&B roadshow in 2003 ... with Zoot Money, Mungo Jerry & others ...
BTW.
saw Collosseum with Farlowe in Vienna/Austria in 2005! Great gig! Farlowe's voice is one of the few in rock history that did not lose it's power (as did Burdon's, Stewart's, etc.)
Paul Williams and Mick Moody did a blues album within the last few years. Also the Blue Thunder thing is still going, Paul has a web site. David Hentschel and Paul wrote the tunes, Mick Moody played guitar. I got to play in the U.S. version of Blue Thunder (on keys) with Paul Williams in 96, 97, 98 . John Goodsall mostly on guitar, sometimes Ric Parnel on drums. Parnel and Farlowe were in Atomic Rooster together, there's an A.R. video of them on youtube
OMG,, I bought this when it first was released in the UK. Someone stole it from me........ Its so good to hear one of the most under rated bands ever.. Thankyou !!

Tanks for your reply, Leon. I'll look out for PW.
But: NOTHING within the last 10 years? He could be dead by now. :((

I used to dance to this in the 70's - in the fabolous Jazz Pub Disco (at Wiesen, next to Vienna, Austria) - and even in 1999 (but I requested it!).
You know it happens ... all the time ... :))
