Tibet in the past were serfdoms or slaves to the high lamas. Without Chinese aids, Tibet will be backward. Under China their rights to worship etc are protected, but they tried to be cool and wants independence thus riots. USA, Australia are fanning this expectation. Chinese needs to further improve human rights, while Americans needs to give back Indians the land they own before.

I personally met a friend of a professor who was 1/8th Native American. With that much pension, I would love to be born Native American. I can't believe so many people trust Dalai Lama as a nice person.I live in China,in a province near Tibet and I think I know it better than foreigners that who is working for rights and peace and who is actually a slave owner and power-lover. a friend of my brother lives in Tibet.he lost an arm in 2008 just because he wanted to save his classmate from the thugs,and they didn't catch him because his skin is tan.

East Pakistan leader Sheikh Mujubur Rehman was also welcomed and Bangla Desh was liberated by India as a good neighbor.Unlike China intruded Tibet in the name of liberation and occupied it like unwanted guest. Most of the great rivers like the Ganges have it's sources in Tibet. Water is life. Thus India is harbouring Dalai Lama and its Govt in exile. US though recognising that Tibet is part of China is still engaging in contradictory behaviours.

Firstly I want to point out that I hope you dont actually think China's development is 100 years behind ours, because if you do your either very stupid or extremely modest. Secondly American independance, was not given because Empires meant much more then, race for power was much more important. However currently because of the ongoing globalization I hope that isnt the same case for China - but unfortunately it is until the country can get it's corruption and political sense worked out!

Tibet in the past were serfdoms or slaves to the high lamas. Without Chinese aids, Tibet will be backward. Under China their rights to worship etc are protected, but they tried to be cool and wants independence thus riots. USA, Australia are fanning this expectation. It will never succeed because China will not let. China has pumped in billions of dollars to develop Tibet. Tibetans cannot fill their stomachs by chanting and praying alone.

The Dalai Lama is no Buddhist-he loves his meat. He was even seeing eating meat practically raw. He claims he has a "medical condition" that requires meat and that's Hepatitis. But on the contrary, meat is harsh on the liver, and eating pork one can even contract Hepatitis E which was found in pork meat. It does not cook out either (resistant to freezing and ordinary cooking). I'm a vegan Buddhist, and I don't recognize a corpse eater as anything relating to Buddhist.
