This has always been my all time favorite song from the Cure, but I absolutely have been a fan since I was a kid...........truly gifted and talented artists that changed music with Robert Smiths voice.........Epic Legend ^^
This whole album is always way too unappreciated on "greatest albums" lists. It's just a fantastic listen all the way through and will always be one of my favorite listens.
i'm 75 and love the cure, but i have to thank my 4 year old grandson for teaching me about this band. he was saying not enough adults his age know these tunes anymore so he is here as our audio messiah making sure we are served proper sound etiquette.
I would listen to this as I was going to bed because of it having such an atmospheric sound, LOVE IT !!!!!! Turn off the lights an lay on your back, It's amazing !!!
without H what's means darling black-out? the tempest. L.v.B ?do you remember..I can seen you in a dirt, you are the most greatest that i can see until now(like energy power) and after you there is Alejandro ......butahahahahhahahof corse....the best yes I am.
@kbbyerly1 I am 14 and love this band. I still like Pulp better even though they sound nothing alike. Formed about the same time though. And do i get bonus point from being from the southern part of the united states where nobody knows pulp?
@kbbyerly1 I never really liked this song, but its taken me 20 years to appreciate this song. It's got an intense dark feel to it. Dam I'm listening to the words, maybe I can relate now.
@kbbyerly1 i very much agree, i'm 13 and i LOVE the cure, i base all of my art on the cure and try to get all of my friends into them. It's horrible to think that people could not know of this band or echo and the bunnymen, sisters of mercy, adam ant ect..... my gneration should be more aware of what music truely is.. :)
@georgewitcombvideos More aware of what true music is hmmm? What that sounded more like to me is that you were saying that your music is better and that's all the reason why they should listen to it, but I'm not accusing you of that, just saying it sounded way more elitist than "sharing music"
@Anoneymoos2012 lol, don't overanalyze what the poor kid said, because he's right, I'd rather people listen to real singers with real gifted voices and meaningful lyrics than all that manufactured bullcrap.
@kbbyerly1 Hey, I'm 17 and my friend, who's 14, and I appreciate this them. I personally believe Disintegration is the best album ever made and The Cure is the best band ever.

@kbbyerly1 i agree im from the younger generation and i hate all the computer shite thats supposed to b music out on the radio im obsessed with the cure siouxsie and the banshees and bauhaus and 80s metal are what real music is

Agilaz1989, thank you, this song gives me also chills; while driving to the police station to pick up my roommate who was carjacked and beaten I was listening to it... back in 1996...
I'm not a cure fan as a rule but this song, along with a few others, fucking ROCK. I don't hate on the cure, it's just usually not what I feel like hearing. It's too sad, and too moving.
i love how this song is immediately followed by rain sounds in "same deep water" on the album. each song is beautiful and really greatly arranged too. few albums can be played straight through...
I remember buying the cassette tape and walking around wintery Melbourne Australia when the album came out back in 89. My love affair with this album began instantly. The walkman loaded with this tape accompanied me to work, the long hours of nightshift at factory.to gigs and long train travel.I love it so much.
