  • Five people are in the grip of the 16th Century.

  • "My mind - is on - the spoons" lol

  • What on Earth did this video have to do with Luther?

  • I've been to Wittenburg :) Nice little town West of Berlin.

  • This is the most funniest sketch of Martin Luther! No german would have felt insulted by this - in fact there is so much love to the details! Sadly enough, there isnt any good synchronisation of a single montypython-movie up til now!

How would brother martin put it?

    `Where´s the john?´ (Wo´s där Lokus?)

  • Einfach nur Geil!

    Warum wurde das raus geschnitten?

  • Luther just going round tryna hump every chick in sight...CLASSIC..."Then VOOSH you need a new kitchen floor" BAHHAHAHAH <33

  • Seems like a take on the dirty viccar sketch. Nice!

  • I am lutheran and I approve of this message.

  • There are no spoon

  • The original dirty vicar

  • I'm glad they cut it out in the end... It's a decent sketch it just wouldn't have flowed enough as well as Every sperm is sacred and the protestant yorkshire family

  • Odd, I rented The Meaning of Life and this scene was included.

  • I want to she the spoons! Cutlery is really my thing now!

  • I wonder who Sol. C. Ziegler is...

  • and this is why Catholics should not loan Lutherans silverware under ANY circumstances

  • If I ever meet Terry J, I'll have to ask him why exactly Martin Luther sounds like Jimmy Durante?

"As far as goils are concerned, I shot my wad!"

  • "ive gotta go to the bathroom"... read somewhere that the segment was cut after test screenings.. and it does sit rather odd there if you watch the film..

  • nice

  • why oh luther why was this scene cut from the film? it's possibly by far one of the best and yeh, i agree with edwingarth there, i read this what 20 years ago? and fell off chairs... why was it not in? was it too jewish EVEN for hollywood? me wonders.. and always will.. hey, we await the redux version with anticipation ;) moi x

  • Protestants are sex addicted catholics!

  • No, they're just less in denial than catholics. All religions suck.

  • kissmewhere, it is the other way around.

  • @kissmewhereyoucan76 No we're not

  • @LordJespersen

    Yes you are! I v

  • @kissmewhereyoucan76 Luther cut himself off from the Church when he tried to redefine the meaning of Sacred Text, and challenged Christ in His decision of naming Peter, and those who filled the position of Pope. Catholics respect sex, and the works and blessings associated, but we won't take it out of the Sacred context God meant it for. If someone claims to be Catholic and does the previously mentioned action, then they are only Catholic in name. Thank you for your time. :)

  • @Bladepaw18 Ridiculous! Religious persons of all descriptions are shagging and boinking and humping all the time all over the world. This idea that religion stops people from having sex outside of marriage is stupid and the entire concept of religious morality is embarrassingly flimsy.

  • @squanto2 Do you have to be so crude? Religion does not stop people from having sex, I understand that. It is the personal responsibility of the person who took the vows to keep the vow of celibacy. And btw, marriage is a separate vocation, so get your facts straight next time before you start toting yourself around as a big-wig on religious concepts. Morality, whether connected to a particular doctrine, or not, still comes from God, the source of all wisdom. Therefore, it cannot be flimsy.

  • @squanto2

The tradition of sexual repression in religion is thought to come from the shift from infanticidal mode of child rearing, to the abandoning mode, which Jesus himself served as a symbol of.

Children were palmed off on the churches, where the priests molested them, and then projected their own shame onto their victims.

  • @Bladepaw18

All those bishops and popes and such are walking around with serpent staffs. It's pretty clear that the church was being used to promote the agenda of the mystery cults.

The church was controlling and limiting religious thought by controlling the bible, Martin luther thought that everyone had a right to read the bible, I think that's why they were referring to when they mentioned the "reassessment of the role of the individual in Christian belief".

  • @kissmewhereyoucan76 good thing we lutherans aren't part of the larger protestant movement then! ;)

  • @kissmewhereyoucan76 apparently you've never read up on your illustrious papacy

  • @kissmewhereyoucan76 yes we are :D

  • @kissmewhereyoucan76 And you are a attention addicted whore.

  • Who eats fat all thier life?!

  • Thanks for this. I bought the book of the film about 12 years ago and it included the script for this scene, but this is the first time I've been able to see it. It's even weirder than I imagined!

  • where was it cut from btw?

  • "The Meaning of Life" film from 1983.

  • you're right

  • Greeeeat sketch...I dunno why they cut it out! I love it!
