There are many good guitarists, and they all have a style and sound that is unique to them and their genre. That being said, Michael has this sound and style that is just unbelievable! Listen to his timeline from Phenomenon (UFO) through to this album. His guitar sound and timbre, his sense of timing, his picking technique...killer! This is my favorite song from this album. Listen to the chops at the end. Still, for classic Michael, you need to hear "Electric Phase", from "Lights Out".

One time on 80s Metal radio, a DJ answering a letter about this song he heard, thought it was Victim of Changes by Judas Priest, I knew they had played this one actually!

You can buy every Deep Purple cd in the music shop yet you can't find any of the older MSG cds. Why have they been deleted ? I don't get it, they all sound great Michael is a top guitarist. Found the cds with Cozy but since then nothing , have been looking for Assault Attack too.

@georgef76 Chrysalis Records had money issues, basically closed down, however, I got a two MSG recordings on one CD, this was done for four albums, and some of UFO's as well

@georgef76 You can find them on a double CD, the first two albums, however, the LPs are surely still around, I collected them all, of course, some time ago I was a fan, since about 1980
