I would've went for a Bastiodon instead of Shuckle due to the fact Bastiodon's ability, Sturdy, protects it from OHKO moves, and since it has 400+ Defense, and if you use a Trick Room Slowking, You could get a few Iron Defenses off of Bastiodon and end up with a load of Defense.
