@pezzonovante99 That sound good too, how much wasabi do you use? I love wasabi a few years Frito Lay had wasabi flavored Funyuns on the market, they were really good but took them off the market for some reason.
@tdjtx I use about a tablespoon in jar, cut up into pieces. You could probably leave them whole, it penetrates really well. I noticed the pungency wears off after several days. I used to buy pickles from a deli that were super hot. They used essential oil of mustard- just a few drops in a big jar. They would make your eyes water but they were so good. I couldn't find the mustard oil but the same active ingredient is found in horseradish and wasabi.
@pezzonovante99 mustard oil, interesting. I wonder if I can find that at a healthfood store. BTW, if you can find the brand Wickles pickles give them a try. They are sweet and spicy and really good.
Looks tasty. Have you ever had Wickles pickles? If not, you HAVE to try them. Best pickle out there by far. Wickles have a slight sweet taste with a kick at the end.
I will be giving the horseradish a try as well. Thanks for the tip!
I do the same thing with wasabi powder. Tastes great but be careful...

Great idea! I love horseradish. Never even thought of adding it to a jar of pickles. This will be in my fridge by the weekend.

@jwlrymkr Yea, I have had Wickles they are really good. Have you tried their relish? I haven't but I bet it's equally good.

They are really good, nice and spicy. Try adding horseradish to a jar of green olives, they are so good, would go well with a bloody mary.
