Esters created by BPA breakdown play merry havoc with the mammalian reproductive organ since they mimic estrogen and testosterone made by the sex organs. When you jerk around with an organ you get stress, scaring, breakdown, autoimmune disease and cancer. As someone who works in a synthetic materials trade, I find it shocking that anyone could take hormone disruption so lightly. I wear a respirator when I work with BPA and hate to get it on my skin.
