To do this you must first have an open mind and away from any bias. Then begin to look at the evidence. Movies, photos, interviews, etc. It is very easy to see that based on those fake attribiutes no one can realistically conclude that such belief is real.

Since the mid-70s (3 or so years after the final lunar landing), the majority of money, research and development, and time was spent on developing the space shuttle program which over the course of the last 30 years allowed us to build a permanent station in space, the ISS. There is no reason given the amount of money it costs to send humans back to the moon.

Why do you say the VA belt is a hurdle? Van Allen himself has stated this notion was rubbish and the radiation easily sheilded. A trajectory to and from the moon only passes through part of it because the moon does not orbit around the Earths axis.
The Apollo11 mission cost 220 million. Apollo17 nearer 350 million. A huge amount of money back then. Why do we need to go back now when unmanned landers would cost a fraction of the cost.

Except that that is not how gravity works.... Gravity is an acceleration that is constant DESPITE your own mass. Weight is dependent on gravity, and hence a change in gravity causes a change in weight (but not mass). On the moon gravity is smaller (relative to the Earth), hence why you can jump higher because you're not being decelerated as quickly (ergo you accelerate longer and can go up higher), you also accelerate downwards slower, and hence, slower as well.
1.A basketball player has a vertical leap of around 3 feet. The astronaut jumps around 18". or as high as the average 8 year old can jump in earths gravity. 2. Th 70 kilogram back pack would wiegh 1/6 of the 70 kilo's, around 11.6 kilo's which in pounds would be= 11.6 kilo's =25.6 lbs. So the back pack weighs about 25.6 lbs. The Van Allen Belts are BELTS. They are not a perfect sphere around the Earth, they are thick in some places and nonexistant in others. And only certain wavelengths penetrate metal. The radiation in the Van Allen belts would not penetrate aluminium foil.

Fortunately, the Van Allen Belts don't contain any more gamma rays than any other place in nearby space, as gamma rays are not channeled by magnetic fields the way the charged particles in the Van Allen Belts are.

1, Yes the Saturn rocket was launched but it didn't go any further than low Earth orbit. 300 to 400 miles up. There they stayed for the duration of the so called trip to the Moon and back.
2. Yes the astronauts landed as normal in the Ocean .
I don't believe we went to the Moon because of the Van Allen radiation belts surrounding the Earth but these are at a higher level than what the Apollo missions flew up to.

To do this you must first have an open mind and away from any bias. Then begin to look at the evidence. Movies, photos, interviews, etc. It is very easy to see that based on those fake attribiutes no one can realistically conclude that such belief is real.

Since the mid-70s (3 or so years after the final lunar landing), the majority of money, research and development, and time was spent on developing the space shuttle program which over the course of the last 30 years allowed us to build a permanent station in space, the ISS. There is no reason given the amount of money it costs to send humans back to the moon.

The fact is that the good old USA was leaps and bounds behind USSR and would have done ANYTHING to beat them to the moon. We put a man on the moon in 1969-1972 but hasn't been back since. WHY? Did we learn all that could be? Hell No! It became harder to fool the public. We landed on the moon but that's it we don't need to go back anymore. WHY NOT? No way did any human go into the Van Allen radiation belt in 1969 and its still the biggest hurdle today.

The US also had what was pretty much the best rocket engineer in the world, and designer of the V2 (the first rocket capable of lifting any payload worth a damn above the atmosphere. So, in a lot of ways, they actually had quite a few advantages.

THAT is the actual reason why; because it costs a shit load and there is not much to gain from it anymore that couldn't be gained from cheaper, safer, less controversial unmanned probes/robots that can do anything humans can and MORE.
I mean, NASA and it's austronaunts would LOVE to keep going to the moon, but it's budget isn't as large as would be necessary to do so, compared to how the organization has expanded. NASA has a LOT to do, and going back to the moon is low priority.

Why do you say the VA belt is a hurdle? Van Allen himself has stated this notion was rubbish and the radiation easily sheilded. A trajectory to and from the moon only passes through part of it because the moon does not orbit around the Earths axis.
The Apollo11 mission cost 220 million. Apollo17 nearer 350 million. A huge amount of money back then. Why do we need to go back now when unmanned landers would cost a fraction of the cost.

Forget about the pictures and videos. The truth of the matter is a human can't pass throw the Van Allen radiation belt without at least becoming sick. but not one of them got sick. What about the film? How in the world did that film make it back to earth? I Max filmed a move in space and the biggest problem was the fact that they COULD NOT expose the film in space for more then 2 mins without the radiation damaging the film. How could a cam from 1969 be better then a cam from 2002? Wake Up!!!

Except that that is not how gravity works.... Gravity is an acceleration that is constant DESPITE your own mass. Weight is dependent on gravity, and hence a change in gravity causes a change in weight (but not mass). On the moon gravity is smaller (relative to the Earth), hence why you can jump higher because you're not being decelerated as quickly (ergo you accelerate longer and can go up higher), you also accelerate downwards slower, and hence, slower as well.

1.A basketball player has a vertical leap of around 3 feet. The astronaut jumps around 18". or as high as the average 8 year old can jump in earths gravity. 2. Th 70 kilogram back pack would wiegh 1/6 of the 70 kilo's, around 11.6 kilo's which in pounds would be= 11.6 kilo's =25.6 lbs. So the back pack weighs about 25.6 lbs. If i put a 25.6 lbs on my back and jumped vertically, i couls easly jump over 18 inches, more like around 30". continued on next post

Which means that only ONE side of the moon EVER faces Earth, right? The reason it's called the dark side of the moon is because it is the region of the moon facing away from Earth that we can't see. The Hubble Telescope Orbits Earth, guess what it can't see?

@nathaneresilem without the fuel,munitions,and food we supplied to britain through the lend lease programm britain would have starved from lack of food.And we gave the british 50 destroyers in return for bases. we had bases for B-17s,B-25s B-26s B-24s which almost totally DESTROYED Germanys war machine,diverted almost all fighters and bombers to protect germany,which left very little air support for soliders on all fronts,25% of munitions were used against bombers.

@bob75ify Your B29s would all be at the bottom of the Atlantic, shot down by jet powered aircraft. The V2s were also launched from mobile launchers, how much fuel would a B29 have to spare to loiter over Britain to find a target and not be shot down?
Bear in mind the US had no microwave radar, sonar, or jet aircraft until the British gave it to you. And no enigma machine to decode the German transmissions either.

@sinisterish Ok,sure,if ME-262s shot down a limited number of B-17s,I dont think they'd have half a chance at sending all the bombers from a raid of 500-1000 B-29s.And V-2s didnt have the range to hit America from Britain anyway.And did you know that the B-29 was built for bombing targets in Europe,incase Britain was lost.And then we would have the B-50 soon,which could carry 28,000 pounds of bombs in the internal bay and external hardpoints

@bob75ify But Bob, your missing the part of the equation. Had Britain fallen at Dunkirk, the Nazis would have had no opposition or disruption to the creation of their superweapons. Don't forget, Frank Whittle had invented the Jet engine back in the 1930s. Everything the Nazis had at the end of the war would have come to fruition far earlier without the RAF bombing raids.

@bob75ify The B29 first flew at the end of 1942, the Fw 200 could fly to NY from Berlin non stop in 1937, so it might give you an idea how advanced the Germans actually were, I mean they did get Armstrong & co to the moon & back.
Thankfully it all worked out ok by 1945 eh?

Astronauts said the LEM was so thin in places you could poke a pencil through it , but this was supposed top be able to survive landing an redocking with the command module. As 4 quitting because it was "dangerous" thats no excuse, everything is dangerous doesn't stop people going on oil rigs or going to war for that matter. Astronauts know the risks and plenty of people would be willing to risk their life to go to the moon, you risk you life everytime u get in your car.

The Van Allen Belts are BELTS. They are not a perfect sphere around the Earth, they are thick in some places and nonexistant in others. And only certain wavelengths penetrate metal. The radiation in the Van Allen belts would not penetrate aluminium foil.

Bingo. I mean, visible LIGHT is a form of radiation (well radiation is a form of light actually), some wavelengths penetrate through thick lead, some will not get through a couple of layers of tissue paper. Not all radiation is like X rays or gamma rays.

Fortunately, the Van Allen Belts don't contain any more gamma rays than any other place in nearby space, as gamma rays are not channeled by magnetic fields the way the charged particles in the Van Allen Belts are.
