You can't expect immediate success. Wood has struggled, but he's still young. He hasn't really gotten much time to play.

Is Willits (.493 OPS in 92 PA in '09, .552 OPS in 136 PA in '08) any better?

He would've been up already if not for Figgins blocking him at 3B this season. Wood's current AAA stats don't lie either. He's good to go. Will probably have to wait 'til next year for that to happen...

Angels homegrown infield project nearly complete with Kotchman at 1B, Kendrick at 2B, and Aybar at SS. Just need to plug in Wood at the hot corner and that should do it...

Oh, and substitute Kendry Morales in Kotchman's place now that he's no longer an Angel. Have to admit, Kendry's showing more offenisve ability this season than Kotch EVER did with the club (and his glove's not too shady, btw).
