Yup, that works! I used Iphonebrowser instead of winscp and just "replaced file" (after backing up of course, just in case)

this is the way . WINSCP ? and then Get the file ff3 in the folder of Level and Gil get the ff3 file and find the Final Fantasy 3 Folder in WINSCP and then find the ff3 at the ff3.app ? and then paste and replace all !

hello im using winscp hwo do i set the permissions so this cheat works? I tried right clicking on the ff3 app folder and changing the numbers i saw in the bracket to 0777 but nothing has worked for me i feel like im one or two steps off ive already beat the game and it erased everythign so someone please help me get back1!!!

@skull660 what does.. 0777 mean or 777? is that just the excecute read write thing?? if not can you please explain cuzz i did what ur suppose to do and its not working for me but when i do the same thing but a hack for another game works fine... my ideas are either im doing something wrong with this hack or the download file for that one specific link i got was a corrupt file.. i might try with a different link

Did what he said. Turned phone off and back again played a random battle and my level went up to 51 plus I got 3351318 gil. Totally works. Thanks

You need to setup permissions properly, this was tested on a greenpoison jail break 4.x

The blog has a comment on how to fix your issue. I used an iPhone 4.
