Alice Russell reminds me of Lydia Pense, the lead singer of the 70's Bay Area group, Cold Blood. Her voice is soulful&funky. The band is working on a James Brown groove. The music is for the hardcore music gangsters. Ain't lipsynching, or overdubs here. It's all live.
