Nice! I was at this game.When i went to chicago as a 7th grader with my family to visit my sister @ graduate school, we were doing the tourist thing in the sears tower. Inside we stumbled upon a ticket office with a sign written in marker that said we have bulls knicks tickets. My dad got me and him two for 60$ each. They were 3rd row upper deck at an angle. Got there an hour early and watched craig hodges make about 80 3s in warm ups. One of my favorite sports and family memories. Go Bulls

Nowadays you see player during the og crossover, but not as effective as jordan did it. This is what you call the NBA crossver and Iverson started the killer cross known as the street crossover. the speed is just amazing. i remember counting him dribbling from one side to the other side(sometime literally from the baseline to the opposite basket) to finish a layup during his first 3peats..he usually took 4-6 sec to finish the whole action. it is definitely fast.

Yeah, if you pause it exactly when it hits 4:53 you can see that MJ is basically near the FT line. He then makes it to the opposite baseline just after it hits 4:56, for a total of about 3.2-3.4 seconds. While dribbling. The best times in the draft combine each year for 3/4 court sprint (FT line to baseline) are around 3.3 seconds...WITHOUT dribbling. Jordan had amazing speed.

That's a pretty correct estimation. Looked at that section with the software that shows thousands of a second. He's at the foul line at 4:53:560. At 4:56:987 he lands on the floor and his feet touches the baseline. So it's 3:427 seconds. Of course this includes dribbling, adjusting his steps for jumping, the actual jumping and landing. Amazing speed indeed.

Because I have another clip vs. Boston that I'd like to time. Similar scenario -- from FT line to opposite baseline in what appears to be around 3 seconds while dribbling. 3.4 seconds while dribbling, measuring steps, and jumping, and the fastest times each year while RUNNING are 3.2-3.3 seconds. i think dwyane wade has jordan's speed, i remember in the 04-05 playoffs wade caught the rebound and ran for a dunk with i think 4 seconds left and dunked with i think 1.4 seconds left. i cant remember off the top, but i think wade is faster than jordan. but i am NOT sayin wade is as good as jordan

@jordanlover23 He was the fastest I had ever seen up until the first retirement in 1993. From 95-98, he was still one of the quickest in the league despite being older and 10-15 lbs heavier. It's possible that MJ from 84-93 was the fastest end-to-end player of all time. That combined with his footwork, body control and intelligence made him impossible to stop.

The thing I remember most from this series is that Jordan put on a ballhandling CLINIC on how to break traps and fullcourt presses. He was literally weaving around 3-4 Knicks several times each game with various moves and changes of direction. It was amazing to see -- he made them look like stooges lol.
