  • This is really nice, just what I've been looking for to mix up that same old A blues stuff!

  • great stuff. i'm really learning a lot. but these tabs seem upside down?

  • @m703324 All tabs have the thin e string at top and the thickest e string on the bottom. :)

  • Absurd.

  • Absurd in a good way or absurd in a bad way?

  • @haywyre62

I'd say in both ways.. since I like variety I'd go on the good way side, but I have no doubt that people would say that this sounds kinda like blues heresy.. then again I say good job :P

  • @haywyre62 absurd is never in a good way...

  • @haywyre62 Good way :D

  • Good job !

  • Hey Blues Fans !

  • hi all

am an intermediate level guitarest ,to me the video is the best of a kind, jazz on

  • Hey Univibe23, not sure what you are on about with the 'sarcasm' comment, but all I was doing was laughing about what I thought was a funny misspelling... lesions for lessons.

It really did make me laugh to picture someone working so hard to keep up with this lesson that they got lesions, yet still thought they were wonderful.

I still think it's a good lesson, and I like the others I've seen by haywyre62.

    Thanks guy for the videos!

  • also the best excercise Ive come across so far THANKS A BUNCH

  • Thanks

  • can ya shake that guitar up and down a little more .... makes it very easy to follow :b

just kiddin ya .... great playing!!!!

  • THANK YOU for these wonderful lesions --and taking the time to share your great playing skills so patiently with/for us!!

  • Sorry, but I can't help but laugh my a** off about your "wonderful lesions" you got from him. You must really be playing this a LOT!

I hope you like his lessons too! ;-)

Seriously, I've just spent the last half hour going through a bunch of haywyre62's videos and I'm having fun playing them on my Gretsch.

  • Sarcasm. Look up the definition toolyou may need in Junior High--this year :]

  • Wow, I always wondered how to get that sound.

  • Great job

    Scales belong on fish....

  • hello. please could you tell me if youre playing on the upstroke?thanks

  • viva el dotor

  • great lesson, but I struggle to learn it to that speed. Any tips on how to get the speed?

  • Break it down into chunks. For example, practice only the first three chords until you get them down. Then add the fourth chord, and practice that until you get it down, and so on.

  • thanks, thats helped.

  • great lesson,thanx.. good to see the p.o.d in the background!

  • Fantastic! Thank you very much for this lesson!

  • good job guy, but you need new strings...it sounds horrible^^

  • i dig this bigtime man. awesome

  • on the 3rd chord u say u have B, G and B... its not rly how u pronounced them.. the proper notes for them are B, E and A which is an Esus4 chord.. u have a couple of mistake here and there but a great lesson ;)

  • thanks wyre, I enjoy the ninth chord and appreciate your licks, t-bone style.....hog~~

  • Cool lesson ,I love it.Keep sharing your talent..God Bless You

  • Hi

Forgot 1 thing : What kind of gear are you using?

    Cheers,

  • Nothing special. Just a Japanese Strat played through a Line6 POD 2.0 and a little Crate practice amp.

  • @haywyre62 would that be one of the fabled JV series from the 80's? I have an 80's jap strat and my god it can sing, but it's late 80's and missed the "glory days" of 80's Japanese strats.

  • Nice...loved it...

Sounds great and pretty easy too.

    Good lesson..keep them commin´

  • Excelente

  • Great lesson !!!! I learned alot.

    thanks again

  • Thanks. I'm on vacation for three weeks, but I'll create some new lessons when I get back.

  • super lesson! I am curious what the names of the first few chords are.

  • E add9, and D add9...I think

  • Thanks!

  • Minor correction: In the video, I forgot to show playing the Db9 before going to the A note (5th fret on the low E). The on-screen tab is correct. Sorry for the confusion.
