@CognitiveNetwork I was under the impression that tians were large walking machines with a crew. Like the Titans in Warhammer 40k. Which is why when you tell them to move they have human voices. I imagine two or three crew and an automatic reloading weapon. Hence the indows on the front.

EA has destroyed the game market. New Tiberian and Red Alert 3.. wow... trash does not begin to describe that shit. The only one they have destroyed by putting their brand on is MASS EFFECT. Even then you can't log onto the EA servers for updates half the time. Dice makes an amazing multiplayer game - Battlefield Bad Company 2.... EA run serves... what a fucking joke..

If you liked Westwood's Command and Conquer series, give Universe at War a good going over. It is made by those that fled Westwood before liquidation began, and it's not bad at all! Give it a proper try, play through the first campaign and you'll see it has some potential
i wish ea never bought westwood. this soundtrack and game have given me so many childhood memmories and than when i heard ea bought westwood i didnt think it would be all that bad than when cnc 3 came out it didnt have anything in it that i remembered and i almost cried man..
@tsmasta lol ur slaggin off C&C3 but my god... have u seen C&C4?? It makes C&C3 look like gold in comparison. And yes I agree, westwood era the best C&Cs by far. It doesn't matter how much bigger the budget if all they produce is over-priced crap with no substance.
To me, the last relevant C&C game was Tiberium Wars (and its expansion pack). Wasn't too impressed with RA3 or with C&C4, but I liked the ending sequences of the latter.
Just remember that the only reason EA started making C&C games was because Westwood did not have enough money. So what happened was EA took the rights to keep the fans happy and carried on making C&C games. They took on nearly all of the Westwood developers anyway. So actually Red Alert 3, Tiberuim Wars and Tiberian Twilight were actually made the same or fairly similar production teams. The only thing that has changed is the technology

Actually, after EA moved the westwood offices to LA officially closing westwood, most of the developers quit, some of who forming the company called "Petroglyph games".

i think with someone, or mayde all of you send EMAILS to EA Games, to they make something diferent in the expantion of C&C4, things like: NO POP CAPS,i hate pop caps(this is why dont play AoE), money buildings like a combination of a tiberiun spike with a tiberium refinery, make missions durring the period of the total tiberium contamination, missions after it, units from the C&C3, new units used in the aftermath of KW, those Forgoten become a playable faction...
continuing... units proportional to the buildings and objects(EA failed in their lasts C&C), the old C&C combat style, bring back the tiberium harvaster colection system, and use some elements of C&C Generals, like missile contermeasures, shockwave of weapons, reduce the precision of some weapons, make more convincent explosions, be able to destroy a heavy unit with ""1""" light unit, by making hit and run atacks(EA missed this too)...
something that would be nice, wold be if the player be able to use civilian veicles to transport troops, tiberium, tanks.
AND FINALY...
add a navy to all factions, with ships in a proportional size to the other units and buildings, huge maps, and lots of varietis of civilian buildings, from many many many parts of the world.

in TS the red zones were full of tiberium life forms, while in C&C3 and 4(the biggest shit that EA ever made) the red zones seemed more like ""DEAD ZONES"", no moving lifeforms or mutants.
@LoboalphaMASTER Yessss finally someone who understands my situation. I miss all the lifeforms and creatures. They gave me soooo many ideas for map ideas. For example: I was making a map set in a destroyed, corrupted, and infested landscape. It was going to be called "New York" cause i was planning on having it so it seemed more destroyed and lifeless. Not to mention i was going to put the biggest tiberium infestation in central park and have lots of tiberium creatures as well.
@BlueTiberium1000 Good idea, and i made a map inspired in crysis, but then i changed a little my ideas and i added 2 citys in the map, i just created the map but i still need to program the scripts, i have also made a map in a red zone with an alien tower(i havent finished the construction and the scripts). But now i also started to make a map inspired in the ending scene of Resident Evil 1(the movie), Racoon city, there still a lot of work.
i honestly loved Westwood on every game and the gameplay on C&C generals was pretty good too to be honest i love Generals especially Zero hour but still WESTWOOD FTW!!!!!!!
well yeah unfortunately EA fucked up C&C but i think the main thing they did wrong that c&c 4 shoud show us the times of that trailer/intro from c&c 4 when whole world is contaminated and it should be a normal c&c and THAN they can realese sort of addon to make it liek c&c 4 now is, and call it for example Sole Survivor 2 and when it would be called as such you can have no bases and pop-cap

Nevermind guys i fixed it. all i had to do was to turn off the user acount control, restart computer, then turn it back on. the dll damaged or missing crap was not true. it's just the computer or all vista 64s that does that is just a lie. thanks kin632 because while i was searching i found a forum about it. to say it again, its not the dll files are missing or anything.
I have vista 624. so how come that still doesn't work as u just said because when i click on the game a little window pops up and said one or more dlc or something was damaged and i'd keep on reinstalling it like 30 times like it says and it keeps poping up. can Somebody give me info about this? I really dont want to risk getting in troubel using my moms computer and I want to play it when i travel or go to my dads house. Pretty Pleassssse! thanks

@D3nnehy Generals was lauded as being the best and most balanced C&C, which it is.
Red Alert was filled with tank spam, as was RA2. Even TS suffered from it sometimes, and it also suffered from worse: Tiberium mutations being used as weapons. It was such a random thing, I hated it (Note: I didn't hate the idea of the Tiberium mutations, they were basically like WC3's creeps, just having infantry turn to visceroids in MP was a bad idea). The gameplay was too weird.
Graphic shaders are way too bright and some of the texture quality and sharpness is lost due to that.
C&C3 looked nice and the units were ok. The gameplay itself wasn't bad, it was way too fast-paced at release, however. I don't mind TW, it's a generally good RTS. So is SupCom. RA3 was great, as was Generals, but I found Generals to be a bit too slow for me to enjoy properly. EA didn't do everything bad. That's just a very biased and baseless opinion.
@Alex06CoSonic And for the record, I only like C&C4's music and environments...The game itself is polished, but to me, it's more like a DLC and I find that it sucks as a full-fledged RTS. It doesn't compare to StarCraft 2, which has lots of content. The FMVs are well-done but the story is way too fast-paced and badly executed. Lots of plot points are left open still despite it being the ending of the series...
SupCom 2 was another RTS I liked, and it turned out better than I expected it to.
@Alex06CoSonic Something about the storyline: Well, when C&C3 came out, there was the big Rio Insurrection story hole, then Kane's Wrath came out and all was clear in the Nod campaign. Maybe, when the T. Twilight expansion comes out, The mystery of the two dead implant carriers will be revealed. Maybe there will be a few Nod missions where you are on gideons side and that might explain it. Just sayin an example.
the NOD is darker, mysterious, paradoxical and even poisonous, its emblem is shown. The GDI is more humane, heroic, healthy, rathe, something like that. Music is perfect in each civilization!

Well, I'm not a genius in terms of copyright laws, but as long as you don't use it for profit or claim it as yourself, I doubt there's really any harm.
Just leave a comment in your video saying you don't own the game, the original song, and whatever and I think it's all cool.

RA3 is not that bad considering that red alert 1 had flipping giant ants, jeeze remember the ants. No one can take a game seriously when the third side are ants the size of tanks.

i think with someone, or mayde all of you send EMAILS to EA Games, to they make something diferent in the expantion of C&C4, things like: NO POP CAPS,i hate pop caps(this is why dont play AoE), money buildings like a combination of a tiberiun spike with a tiberium refinery, make missions durring the period of the total tiberium contamination, missions after it, units from the C&C3, new units used in the aftermath of KW, those Forgoten become a playable faction...

continuing... units proportional to the buildings and objects(EA failed in their lasts C&C), the old C&C combat style, bring back the tiberium harvaster colection system, and use some elements of C&C Generals, like missile contermeasures, shockwave of weapons, reduce the precision of some weapons, make more convincent explosions, be able to destroy a heavy unit with ""1""" light unit, by making hit and run atacks(EA missed this too)...

They should have it so u can harvest the moss and the sludge and make it so the plants make more of the stuff so it'll never run out. They should also bring back floaters and fiends as well. in TS the red zones were full of tiberium life forms, while in C&C3 and 4(the biggest shit that EA ever made) the red zones seemed more like ""DEAD ZONES"", no moving lifeforms or mutants.

@LoboalphaMASTER Yessss finally someone who understands my situation. I miss all the lifeforms and creatures. They gave me soooo many ideas for map ideas. For example: I was making a map set in a destroyed, corrupted, and infested landscape. It was going to be called "New York" cause i was planning on having it so it seemed more destroyed and lifeless. Not to mention i was going to put the biggest tiberium infestation in central park and have lots of tiberium creatures as well.

@BlueTiberium1000 Good idea, and i made a map inspired in crysis, but then i changed a little my ideas and i added 2 citys in the map, i just created the map but i still need to program the scripts, i have also made a map in a red zone with an alien tower(i havent finished the construction and the scripts). But now i also started to make a map inspired in the ending scene of Resident Evil 1(the movie), Racoon city, there still a lot of work.

well yeah unfortunately EA fucked up C&C but i think the main thing they did wrong that c&c 4 shoud show us the times of that trailer/intro from c&c 4 when whole world is contaminated and it should be a normal c&c and THAN they can realese sort of addon to make it liek c&c 4 now is, and call it for example Sole Survivor 2 and when it would be called as such you can have no bases and pop-cap
because game (c&c4) itself might be fun but it just isnt c&c

Nevermind guys i fixed it. all i had to do was to turn off the user acount control, restart computer, then turn it back on. the dll damaged or missing crap was not true. it's just the computer or all vista 64s that does that is just a lie. thanks kin632 because while i was searching i found a forum about it. to say it again, its not the dll files are missing or anything.

I have vista 624. so how come that still doesn't work as u just said because when i click on the game a little window pops up and said one or more dlc or something was damaged and i'd keep on reinstalling it like 30 times like it says and it keeps poping up. can Somebody give me info about this? I have my original discs, which is why I'm asking. The first decade is probably all set up for newer OSs.
I could run them on my old XP desktop, however, the motherboard decided to fry itself, and a replacement board is hard as hell to find.

@D3nnehy Generals was lauded as being the best and most balanced C&C, which it is.
Red Alert was filled with tank spam, as was RA2. Even TS suffered from it sometimes, and it also suffered from worse: Tiberium mutations being used as weapons. It was such a random thing, I hated it (Note: I didn't hate the idea of the Tiberium mutations, they were basically like WC3's creeps, just having infantry turn to visceroids in MP was a bad idea). The gameplay was too weird.
My favorite C&C has to be RA3.

Graphic shaders are way too bright and some of the texture quality and sharpness is lost due to that.
C&C3 looked nice and the units were ok. The gameplay itself wasn't bad, it was way too fast-paced at release, however. I don't mind TW, it's a generally good RTS. So is SupCom. RA3 was great, as was Generals, but I found Generals to be a bit too slow for me to enjoy properly. EA didn't do everything bad. That's just a very biased and baseless opinion.

@Alex06CoSonic And for the record, I only like C&C4's music and environments...The game itself is polished, but to me, it's more like a DLC and I find that it sucks as a full-fledged RTS. It doesn't compare to StarCraft 2, which has lots of content. The FMVs are well-done but the story is way too fast-paced and badly executed. Lots of plot points are left open still despite it being the ending of the series...
SupCom 2 was another RTS I liked, and it turned out better than I expected it to.

@Alex06CoSonic Something about the storyline: Well, when C&C3 came out, there was the big Rio Insurrection story hole, then Kane's Wrath came out and all was clear in the Nod campaign. Maybe, when the T. Twilight expansion comes out, The mystery of the two dead implant carriers will be revealed. Maybe there will be a few Nod missions where you are on gideons side and that might explain it. Just sayin an example.

I find most of the faster songs are Nod-themed. GDI songs are the slower, moody ones, with the exception of Scouting.
