You're assumption Abram lying with Hagar as 'wrong' is incorrect, it was common practice is Judaic law that monogamy was allowed (Isiah 4:1-4:6). This is not to be confused with concubines also permitted in Judaic law. Abram took Hagar as his second wife, as he did with his later wife, they are all legitimate children of Abram, being that patriarchal lineage regardless of woman is absolute to this day.

Why is it so unbelievable that Hagar could be Abraham's wife? Why did you say they were "kinda married" - what does that mean anyway?
They WERE married, polygamy (polygyny) was acceptable to the Prophets; we all know what the Bible says about Solomon: 700 wives, 300 concubines.
