He's not better than Ray Allen in terms of simply shooting 3 pointers, but Ben Gordon is an incredible player. What he did in the 09 playoffs was SICK. I remember a game where he lead the bulls to lead the game by 1 pt in the 4th and there was less than 6 seconds left on the game clock. One thing I must mention on Ben Gordon is that he's not the best defensive player in the world. Ben lost him on D and Noah had to pick him up. Noah failed and Allen hit a 3 to win the game. Overall, Ray's better.

Zach Randolph has also lead his teams in scoring. Do you consider him a good player? BG can score but he takes a ton of bad shots and was also the Bulls worst defender the last 5 years.
It can be done when you have an all-nba defender in Hinrich next to you, guarding the best player between the PG/SG. Gordon isn't a terrible on ball defender, but he gets lazy off the ball and can't do a lot against many SGs because of his size.

Billups and Hamilton are different people. Defense isn't just following a person, you'll get a taste in the Pre-Season. I've watch him get burned on defense his whole NBA career but saw him light on fire on offense. Salmons is perfectly capable of scoring. I think it was 18 PPG last season, he put up big numbers like 30 points. He can play defense too, and play the defense, he limited LeBron as well. Gordon will probably be put at PG, theres a huge possibility.

Billups and Hamilton are different people. Defense isn't just following a person, you'll get a taste in the Pre-Season. I've watch him get burned on defense his whole NBA career but saw him light on fire on offense. Salmons is perfectly capable of scoring. I think it was 18 PPG last season, he put up big numbers like 30 points. He can play defense too, and play the defense, he limited LeBron as well. Gordon will probably be put at PG, theres a huge possibility.

Rip gets baked often too but they help. By the way gordon is not starting in detroit......stucky is the starting point guard and will be for the next 8 years probably. Dumars got him established a long time ago. Gordan may play a little pg and sg for stucky and rips rest of course.

Offense is Gordon's game, not defense. What was it, 5 years no a pro out of Uconn, and he still can't play solid defense. Yeah its not the likes of Dwayne Wade every game, but this is coming from a person who basically scouted Gordon. I never said Gordon will start either, not sure where that came from. Yeah Salmons made a huge difference when guarding LeBron James, not shut him down, but LeBron's FG% was very low, but he scored a lot.

I never doubted Gordon's offensive talent, I admire and appreciated him for that. But the man cannot simply play good enough defense. Sure he hits big time shots during the playoffs that saved our asses, Thank God, but during the regular season he is more of a "Give me the ball, and I'll make magic happen". Regular Season Rose averaged 16.8 PPG while Stuckey had 13.4. Rose averages more assists and rebounds than him as well. So one damn game Stuckey scored 40...good. Olympiakos is one of the best teams in Europe ( u want me 2 explain what's Europe as well?) and the owners have a LOT of money to spent for players. Maybe European basketball doesn't mean anything(according to all Americans) compared to the NBA, but players like Dominique Wilkins joined Greek teams in the past (and now Josh Childress), so why not Ben Gordon or Turkoglu.
