The use of the word idiot is unnecessary. I like these guys and each time I listen to new bands for me I hear always some of my influences. I was born in 1968 and have been playing several instruments since 1974. Lately I am mostly a keyboard player and if you want to know where that instrument came check out the Robert Moog video on netflix.
I was born in 1990, but I feel like that was the time I should have been around in. Some of their songs make me tear up because its so familiar, like I was there.
True new composition with electronical instruments. Today we only hear pop music with electronical instrument, nothing really new ! Too bad Kraftwerk doesn't compose anymore.
I am a long fan of Kraftwerk (actually my #1) and have all their official CDs plus some extra stuff. The second half of this tune sounded like something I've never heard from KW. Nice.
Meat Beat Manifesto: At the Center and Off-Centre. I'm going to take a gander and say that Jack Dangers got most of his inspiration from early Kraftwerk.
during their early years they were nothing more than a bunch of experimental classical students before going techno - i bet you they smoked their Skunk weed while singing cumbaya like a bunch of Hippies.
You don't have to have more than 40 to like Kraftwerk, I'm 19 and it's my favourite band, i've got all the albums (i bought The Mix last week, the only one that i didn't had) and i can't wait to see them live, altrought Florian is gone, theres still Ralf to keep the Die Mensch Maschine alive.
@MusicAndAmbientFan why? you have timetraveld and now you can listen to the sound of the future in the present that are maked in the past! (sry for my english) what you want more! you didnt need to build a timemashine! :)
i wanted to hear all those odd liquidy synth sounds from the original but i guess not

It's just amazing to watch Kraftwerk in this video - it's like they're not even trying. Now that's real talent my friend.

Until the image changed at 1:10 I thought: "They were robots already in 1974... geniuses". And then I noticed "audio only". Haha.

Many Bootlegs have sounds titled "Morgenspaziergang", but almost wrong, they are a little bit arranged "Tongebirge"! However, This is REAL!!

Great! You can also hear Karl Bartos playing the xylophone
Nagelbrett 2 years ago
Karl Bartos wasn't a band member at this time yet. the "xylophone" was played by Klaus Röder.
technik56 2 years ago
yes you are right - it was on the US Tour 1975 where it became Karl`s turn to play the vibraphone(!) for the first time

What a great taste. It's so sad when you born in the 90's. But at least, This is great music.
