Romania should not be part of the EU, but instead it should be segregated.

It's an African-type of country. It's the most corrupt in Europe and most probably in the world. You can't do any business unless you bribe left and right.

I was at the Pompidou centre and girls from the same origin faked being deaf. They were maybe 5-6 and while they were harassing us one girl would try to steal something from my friend's bag. Watch out, trust no one especially children and poor people. Sadly :(

My parents and I got targeted by these same group of girls in the Metro Champs Elysees. They followed us into the trains and gets as close to you as possible. Two of them actually fake pregnancy. My mum was thinking to give her more space in a crowded train thinking the girls was pregnant but my sister realize what they were doing and manage to shove them aside.They did not manage to steal anything from us and we let the one we caught go.

One week ago my wife was pickpocket in Paris in front of the museum d orsay, they open his bag and take an iphone 4 and some money.

I think the zone near museum d orsay is full of rumanian thiefs that pickpocket tourists.

Also some minutes before she take some photos with his iphone 4, maybe having an iphone 4 in Paris makes you a top target for pickpockets.

While we were on Paris we never see kids like the ones in the video, only we see two kids that pickpocket my wife near museum d orsay.

Money belts and cable ties are your friends, people. Wear the belt against your skin under your clothes, and put the cable ties through your zipper handles. Worked for my wife & I in Paris. The thief couldn't easily or quickly get the zippers open and gave up.

These girls are underage to be arrested and dropped in jail. Generally they're poor and their parent don't give a f*ck, so they keep doing the same robberies again and again without the police can't do anything....

The worst part is.. if you hit then you'll prob get issue about hitting an underage kid..

when im to early for work i stay 15 or 30 min in those stations trying to interupt pickpoketing just by telling tourist to watch out cause i feel bad for those people who came to visit my country !

These same girls targeted me as a potential victim back in April 2009. I was forewarned about the pickpockets in Paris so I spotted them right away. They are bold. Very bold.

Recommendations;

1 Carry wallet inside front pockets.

2 If you get surrounded by people, put your hand on your wallet

3 Pick pockets select their victims, be always on the alert, they know you are hard to be robbed

4 Make photocopies of your credit cards, passports or IDs, you can call home to cancel them

5 Carry backpack in the front, you can see it all times

6 Buy belts to carry money that get attached to your chest

One of those little bitches almost stole my wallet and passport on the Paris metro this past March, but luckily, some guy saw what she did, made her give them back to me, and pushed her off the train. I was SO lucky.

What I like to do is leave decoy items in my pockets like fake jewelry, useless cards that resemble credit cards, tiny jewelry gift boxes stuffed with tissue paper etc. Sort of adds a little fun to the game.....
