Book: 10/10 Its my favourite novel too, I just love Heinlein sci-fi

Film 1: 8/10 Well its a very good film but is so different to the book, even the bugs are totally different o.O

Serie 7/10 Well I like it, its very good but I think it needs bigger battles

Absofreakinloutely. You read my mind. Starship Troopers (the book) is a masterpiece. People talk about Plato and Aritotle, they ain't got nothin' on Heinlein. And the movie, well, it's fun. It's not something to watch to use your brain, but it is alot of fun. Same for the series.

I know I'm going to get flamed for this, but... Having read the book, I hated the movie. It was a good scifi action cflick (and an amusing black comedy), but as Starship Troopers, it failed. That being said, I'm not very fond on the video... but damn it's funny if you mute it and watching it while listening to the theme from "Benny Hill."

I think the reason they didn't have tanks is that they didn't prioritate the war that much. Mobile Infantry is better in numbers, they maybe used up to much steel on the battleships. Didn't you see when they bombed up the bugs? They didn't use high-tech missiles but they used som old bombs that they dropped just like that?
