  • work on vista or 7?

  • i dont think that does rumble support. you do not need drivers. even in linux.

  • Hey do you have the drivers for this still? I can't find my disk or the drivers anywhere and I'm using win7 so the XP basic drivers aren't included.

  • @EquitorialPancakes mine found it after about 3 minutes of searching on the internet. it was automatic.

  • Guys, please stop responding me, it's been 2 motherfucking years since I made that question.

  • Hows it for analog on N64? id lave to play Some callsic AKI wrestling games again with the proper controller!

  • it's garbage

  • @rockstar8734 yah it is... im sure someone already answered this.... but anyways, the PlayStation ONE was made in the early 90's but the playstation before the PS2 is just Playstation, but the abreviation is PSX

  • nerds

  • That analog stick thing happened to me on my N64.

  • @backwoodsmods PS1 & PSX are the same thing.

  • @kirby3219 PSX and PS1 is not the same thing. PSX was released in 2003 in japan only.. It was a system that played PS1 and PS2 games. It also had a HDD and a DVR function to record TV.

  • Stop starting all these theories about what PSX (in this situation) is. People come to these videos to get feedback and reviews about this adapter that they may be considering to purchase, not for seeing a page full of arguments to confuse everyone about the product and waste their time. I had to take a gamble with this and the ps2 controller I bought because of you idiots spreading false rumors that PSX is a console from China.

PSX = ANY playstation controller (like in Algebra)

  • @Tcha1k0vsky Lmao. Nice and to the point! =) PSY, PSZ! lmao

  • how do you use this thing with a windows xp computer with service pack 3 and on project 64 emulator!

  • don't buy this product, it's a piece of shit.

  • is not a great device, isn´t possible to connect both controls and the guy doesn´t show if a aditional soft is required or not and n64 control is a little old :-)

  • change the dead zone to 00% and range to

    60% (only for n64 remote)

  • Does this work with Win 7 64-Bit? I can't get my ps1 controller to work with it. I'm using the emulators Gens and zsnes.

    Thanks.

  • Does this work for MAcs.?

  • u have to have a n64 emulator and roms. i have all the roms and the emulator i have can play n64 games online but the only problem i have is i ordered a usb converter for my controllers off the 4trangle site and it totaly soucks arss because the "C" buttons don't work at all and the joystick is almost completly non responsive it works well for the "C"buttons though and u can use the dpad for the joystick and dpad it works out for some games but still not that good dont go to there website.

  • how can u tell if you have the right n64 controler

  • I don't know about you guys, but i tried everything, for the N64 port, and it doesn't work.. so i just plug my ps2 controller in, and play games and n64 emulator...

  • @jetbear2002 what do you use for the "C" buttons? i was going to do this but i feel as if this is a problem

  • @killafromthecold i just use the Ps2 right analog stick. for C buttons.

  • @jetbear2002 hmm.. that's what i thought seemed reasonable. thanks

  • but it works with snes9X

  • can you help me? i want to connect my psx controller to an emulator called Zsnes but when i try to put the controls in it doesnt work can you help me?

  • AWESOME same one I have! I am having trouble getting my n64 controller to work on my vista. on my Project 64 emulator when I set up the controls i sometimes get to set one button but when I try to set another button it says the button is already being used. How can i solve this problem?

  • I would like to use my ps2 or ps3 remote with this device-Would it be possible?Does this device work with WIN 7 64 BIT? Do I have download software? Thanks, PM would be cool.Nice video.

  • Is There Any Way To Buy This In A Store?.. Itll Be Difficult To Buy It Online

  • I'm getting a problem that whenever I set the controls for the PS2 controller the analog would only get two sides, left and up. Anyone help with this?

  • will this work with a macbook?

  • it shoud

  • Would the controllers work with Modern Warfare 2 for pc?

  • I don't know about he PC but it does not work for PS3. I tried it and it malfunctions. The PS2 controller does not steer. My PS3 is the original 60 gig with full backwards compatibility.

  • yes it would if you use JoyToKey or Xpadder

JoyToKey is free But you can found Xpadder free too..... i founded

  • Not meaning to sound rude but aye, how do I get to back up my n64 memory? Ok you say use those programs. But still the questions stands: What are the instructions to do the memory pak back up with the memory pak from n64 to PC? Thanks for the program but what's the use if I don't know how to use them? Got any instructions? Going from point A to point B always works best when you have the map to get to point B. Still walking in the dark here. Tips, Steps, Guide, Instructions on how to utilize USB

  • Comment removed

  • use JoyToKey or Xpadder

  • hmm thats a good question too.. and okay, im going to try your idea.

  • Same story guys. I bought this for like $12 on amazon. new. it took about 20 days or so to get here.. I plug it in, and it goes crazy when trying to calibrate it.

So this guy lies, that we can calibrate.. I'm not very happy, but what can we expect from China..

  • Yea it works just got to turn up the dials and turn down dead zone to 0. But here is the real question nobody has asked yet. How can we use the memory pack to back up memory and transfer files with the n64 memory packs?

  • does n64 1 work on vista cuz i just bought one of ebay

  • is there any way to actualy have your ps2 hooked up to your computer in stead of a tv so u can play for example mortal kombat

  • that is a psx

  • I bought this device and it will not work for any N64 controller. If I have the device without any controllers hooked up the properties for game controllers shows 12 buttons lit up and axis activity. When I switch it to the PS2 function(which works great for me) there is no activity. With a controller attached the PS2 works fine but the N64 goes haywire. I would avoid this product if you want to use it with an N64 controller unless you feel lucky.

  • i got this for christmas

i can say that it works with Vista (64 bit) but it is unreliable. I luckily have 5 N64 controllers. only 1 of them worked. 1/5 arent great odds if u ask me. Even with calibration the analog stick is going crazy and the buttons are freaking out. But i use it a lot and 1 of them works. I wonder if there is a better outcome with XP? or a different adapter?

  • fucking piece of shit video, why do you don't conect the controllers in the video and show how works in the pc?

  • i want to hook up my ps2 to my comp but idk how to plz help me if you can

  • garbage if your using project 64 :(

  • not if u use project sixty four 1.7 beta it works perfectly for me

  • what version do you have?

  • hey can u help in how to use that thing?? I have it...

  • my one is recognised and even works on my hgb gameboy emulator but wont b recognised by my mupen64k. i dont kno where my drive is for it. the control panel doesnt recognise it either. do i need a certain input plugin for it?

  • could you do a video on the "Dual USB adapter for N64 controller (Nintendo 64 to PC)"

  • Does this also work if you plugged this onto a ps3? So it could function as a adapter for ps2 controllers.

  • is it vista 32 bit compatible?

  • its vista compatible dont know about 32 bit tho

  • well on my converter is happening the exactly samething the video said "it like crazy" PLEASE HELP ME... the solution of conecting the ps1 and the 64 controllers at the same time is not an option for me .. I don't have a ps1controller now... THEn???? HELP!

  • do not touch the ps2 or n64 controller while t\its first loading drivers

  • yess but still.... maybe because I only hve the n64 controller and not the ps2 .. that may be???!!!

come on, you can figure it out!!! go you can! (XD)

  • did u fix it yet? the n64 controller i have the same problem

  • i need one of those

  • a psx is a ps1 right?

  • Yep

  • No. PSOne (spelled out) is the name given to the redesign. PSX is simply a synonym for anything regarding the first-generation Playstation (that is, not a PS2 or PS3). Also, I'm fairly sure Dual-Shock analog controllers were around before the release of the PSOne.

  • @rockstar8734 i believe psx is any playstation using x to replace the number

  • @rockstar8734 Yeah... no. A PS1 is, well, a PS1. A PSX is a DVR, that was only released in Japan, that plays PS1 and PS2 games, Japan only ones, my guess. The PSX came in 250 GB models and 160 GB models, I believe.

  • @KnezFreakMan

bs, psx = ps1 his guess was correct

  • @rockstar8734 yyes

  • @rockstar8734 yeah

  • @rockstar8734 No, it isn't. A PSX is a completely different console only released in Japan, the playstation is called the playstation, and the second version of the playstation is called the PsOne.

  • @rockstar8734 yes

  • @rockstar8734 in the psx word the x can take values 1 and 2 :)

value 3 comes already with a usb jack

  • @rockstar8734 yes

  • @rockstar8734 some people call ps1 a psx but a real psx is a dvr that burns discs and plays ps2 games

  • @rockstar8734 Nope, it a completely different console.

  • Oy nvm... I fixed it :D

  • Hi, I got all the buttons working, but I can't seem to figure out how to get the joystick working :/ I heard there is a place where I can calibrate the joystick... I use Project64.... help plz. :D

  • Hey man i just got the Sumoto brand converter, could you show me how to install it to get it to work with a n64 emulator program

  • I just bought mine off amazon. Im Pumped!

  • Vista?

  • can you use a ps2 controller for the n64 emulator??

  • Yes, any controller compatible with the hard ware for any emulator.

  • how do you turn up the strength

    ?

  • where can i get one??

  • how do you make your guy move faster my guy is slow

  • is there one that allows you to use more than one controller?

  • can u plz help me i dont know how to us eit on my project64 when i play super mario64 and i have an windows xp plz help me!

  • Are there any converters that allow you to plug in TWO n64 controllers?

  • i could make you one... i just need the stuff

  • were can u get this @

  • I have this, it works flawlessly!!

  • will this work on vista? and on project 64 (which is a Nintendo 64 emulator)?

  • It works on Vista guys! I use it on my Vista (32bit) laptop.

  • has this ever been tested with a 360 ?

  • Will it work with "Project 64" ? :)

  • Yep, it works with Project 64!

  • my controller work fine in a nintendo 64 but when i put it in the computer and try to play the game the my character will move so slow how do i fix it HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

  • turn up controller analog strength is your guy moves too slow (if that doesn't fix it, GET A BETTER COMPUTER)

  • by the way, i have wondows vista. i dont know if that has anything to do with it cuz i hear that the XP computers already have the program in it or something. so, i dont know about vista

  • i just ordered the USB converter for psx adn n64 from amazon, and it only came with the actual converter. no manual or anything. so i dont know if im supposed to install something first cuz i tried using it on my project 64 emulator, and nothing is working. please reply. i'd really appreciate it

  • what perogram do u use for the n64?

  • i bought one off ebay there cool!

  • can u use that with windows vista

  • Can you use a dreamcast or gamecube controller while playing N64 ROMs? - I really dislike the n64 controller and would rather use gc, dc, ps2 controller

  • it has a ps2 controller port

  • can i find one of these at any electronic store or what?

  • i'll get both. who should i make the check out to? lol

  • what is a psx? i presume that it's a ps1

  • you presume right

  • Fucking junk. i have the same problem with he analog stick going crazy. cant calibrate and cant get the controls set up.

  • yea me too man!! garbage

  • That is REALLY not the one you want because the analog stick on the N64 controller is NOT supported. So you will not have complete control over the controller. I know this because I have one.

  • analog stick works fine, you might need to calibrate it

  • No man I know how to calibrate controllers. It even said in the instructions that it dose not support it.

  • does it work with vista??

can i use my gh guitar for frets of fire with this gadget???

  • I have this and it works great but one problem I have is with Mario 64. No matter how much I mess with the sensitivity settings and how hard I press the analog stick, Mario doesn't run. He just sorta jogs.

    Any suggestions?

  • Check within the emulator itself. Look for a joystick amplification driver on google.

  • Thanks a ton! I had to configure the controller from windows. It worked! :D

  • Is there any lag that comes with using this product? I was thinking of buying it to use with the 64 controller.

  • Nope, I've had mine since January it works perfectly, no lag, yeah works perfect for emulators. You can use it with any games by using XPadder (Have a video and I use PS2 controller to play Crysis:Warhead in it).

Sucks you can't use the PS2 and N64 controllers...

  • At the same time*** lol

  • I have this, works perfectly, first one broke because the wire was defective or something, but the second one has lasted me since january, still holding strong, use both my gray N64 and cool blue PS2 controller for it. I have one question though, how do I get it to work with crysis warhead?

  • can you have 2 people playing the same game from the same pc?

  • not with this but they have this other thing that you can do a dreamcast ps1/2 or gamecube controller all at once thats 20 dollars.

  • Yes. It's barely even more complicated.

  • to the creator of this device: the reason why it shows the analoge stick going crazy is cause its not in the center. this happens when the controller has been used alot, it happens on real N64 consoles. you can have a cursor on 'goldeneye' going crazy.

  • No, this is a separate problem. I've got a brand new n64 controller, and it has this problem.

  • well its basically the same thing, if you hold the stick in the neutral position, it'll work.

  • I have read about this problem. The best controllers are the green official n64 controllers. 99% of these work. The reason is that is the second model which is different still from even later models. You should also get the official drivers from the producer.

  • hey peopleeeeeee! does it really work with vista????

  • Well since the guy says its built into XP then there is a GOOD chance it won't work in Vista.

  • it does work in vista, you know nothing about PC's

  • it works with vista

  • No. Vista sucks.

  • hey has anyone tried it with project 64?

  • can u use this for Wii

  • read "computer guide for dummies"

  • how much is one of there and can u use a guitar hero controll on it?

  • I've got one of these and its always been a dream of mine to use the N64 on my pc seeing as its my favorite controller.

What sucks is compared to my old Ps2 to USB drivers for a cord that kicked the bucket, the XP drivers are terrible. The fact that it does not support force feedback is especially disappointing. I wish they'd have made drivers to go along with it.

Plug n' play isnt always gods gift to the gamer world..

  • Couldn't someone just design a new driver ?

So we can play with our rumble paks

  • since most games downloaded for emulator are n64 wouldnt plugging in a gamecube controller make more sense? if anyone has played the collector's edition of LOZ for GC (it came with my GC) they will know it works really well for n64 stuff.

There shud be a gc controller port on it

  • Cant u jsut buy the trio 1 and it work by it self becuz i wanna play with my bro with my emulators

  • Yea im having the problem that my controlle stick and the buttons are being pressed but im not touching them i dont know how to fix this problem i tryed pluging in a ps1 controller in but it only makes me use the A Button please can somebody help me out please.

  • whether the controller works or not depends on the year it was made and the controller's color

i know the grey controllers do that

    try another

  • does it work with vista?

  • yeah i bought it from this guy...can't get it to work though...

  • From 4triangles?

They sell on ebay as well as their own site.

  • You can play with psx and n64 controller at same time?

  • yeah

  • no you can't, it's one controller at a time.

  • lol yeah i realized that XD

  • no you cant

  • thanks very helpful

  • The n64 controller works for me, but the psx controller doesn't (the psx controller hasn't analogs).

Is it possible to make it work anyway?

  • why don't u just buy a pc controller

  • PC controllers are lame.

  • What are you talking about? I tried installing it, and it won't let me use any controllers, except the DDR pad. Which I didn't install, and I do not own. I can not change anything.

  • is there a way to make it work with windows vista??

  • It works with Vista

  • this doesnt work ive tryed it-.-

  • On Windows XP, I connected it. There I go.

On 1964, on the input settings and under "Devices" under "Gamepad" I select 4 axis 16 button joystick.

That's all I had to do.

If analog is slow, under "controls" turn Range to 100% and uncheck "Real N64 Range".

Anyways, I got this off ebay. This shit WORKS!

  • Right turning up the dials and stuff fixed the analog deal. Do you know how to be able to use the memory cards? How can we back up our n64 memory cars from the controller?

  • you can use save game files.... with emulator

  • Aye yea emulator. But I want to rip memory off my n64 memory pak. Can this device take saves from a memory pak? You know so I can back up my old saves to the PC and all that. The question is: Since this a n64 controller to USB converter, does it utilize the n64's memory card slot too?

  • well i had n64 controller in my pc and i can utilize my n64 memory card slot.....

  • Q: Aye how? How did you utilize your memory pak using this same device in question in this video? I would like to know how. Can you describe how you was able to rip your memory files and such back and forth memory swapping with this device? This device is not the Adaptoid. This device has no option to swap memory does it? If so, how in detail please.

  • oh.... i have n64 controller that has memory card slot in it

  • Anyone know if there's an updated driver for this or anything? I have one exactly like this (had it for years) and after trying it again after no use it acts very weird, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, whereas it used to work all the time. I think it's broken or something but I've reinstalled a couple times since its last user, so it may be drivers, but I'm on SP pro corp so it should have all the drivers it needs =\

  • There's not many driver options on these. The only non-plug and play drivers are made for Windows 98 and ME, not sure how they'd work on a newer OS.

  • Does it matter which colour you got on the N64 controller??

  • Generic brands might not work and possibly the clear purple Nintendo brand.

  • ty for your unwires :D

  • You will have to contact 4triangles to find out. All I do is make videos for companies. Sorry :(

  • I've buy one, but when i connect the N64 controller and walk with the analog stick mario will walk, and not run =(

  • You need to go into the Controller setting, from control properties, and calibrate the sticks. If you dont, it will only go half way, hence why you only walk, and not run.
