I think you have here a flawed idea of what Intelligent design means, you (and others, even some believers in the bible) conflate creationism with intelligent design. The root cause of this a flawed understanding of what God is. Intelligent design theory states that DNA is a form of media upon which information is stored in a language that works much like a computer language is used to encode an instruction set that forms an operating system to run a computer program that makes set of ...
hardware do something. A language and an instruction set must have an author/creator. This creator is logically derived at and has attributes that can be arrived at logically. However, this creator is different from the "God" most people believe in because they don't understand biblical theology correctly or with any depth of education on the subject. Properly understood, God and the logically derived at "creator" have a great deal of overlap in their natures, ...
so much so that the areas that fall outside this overlap can be canceled out as false theological assumptions. For example, you say that God created life in perfection. This is a theological fallacy. People like to believe that God's powers of creation MUST have the nature of perfection that we like. But God's idea of perfection is not like ours. God's idea is a Wholistic view life as means to an end using what exists, not our idea perfect life that has no flaws or errors or ills. ...
The bible clearly teaches us that we are flawed creatures of flesh and only God himself has the state of perfection. DNA and its errors is a necessary evil because life must have it to work in this temporal state of physics. When one understands that God is real being who exists out there in space (what the ancients called "heaven") and realises that that being not only seeded life on this planet, but also genetically modified that life to produce more intelligent creatures called humans, ...
And that He (God/the creator) TOLD us about what he did in the ancient past and we stored that knowledge in the bible using the limited verbal concepts available in that day to describe a highly advanced system of technology used by an ancient and highly advanced being (God), then you begin to realize that what is described in the bible and what science describes don't conflict, they correlate. It is man's penchant for overly mythologizing and ultra-deifying God's nature that creates conflict.
There is also the fallacy of blaming God for deformity like he's not doing his job or some such idea. This life is a temporal existence, we live and then we die. If God were the God most people expect him to be, surely he wouldn't allow death or suffering to exist. But that is human rationalization of what God is. The reason for death and suffering in this world is because we are the mechanism to improve life (or to corrupt it) ...
The temporal flesh is weak and dies, but the spiritual being within that temporal body is what God is after. This he will use to create a better us. But we must pass the spiritual test first to go on to the next level of life. (not a heavenly life, that's another false theological notion, but a future Earthly life in a new perfected body). What happens to those who pass the test? They are separated and destroyed like chaff is burned but the wheat is saved.
By this method of spiritual Darwinism we as a species will be purified and improved and ultimately saved and live again in the resurrection. Sound harsh? It is, but it is what is necessary to defeat humanity's desire for evil and violence. We are being domesticated by the circumstances that God set up for us.
You pointed out the real result of mutations. Death and disease, and not the increase of information and complexity, that evolutionist have enormous faith in. No new information comes from mutations. No one said this world is perfect, that is what heaven is all about. The suffering you see, is nothing but a vapour in time when compared to eternity. Your wisdom is foolishness to God. DNA is a code far superior to any code that human inteligence has come up with, DNA did not evolve.
robert van oz brought me here through his blog about his song 'water lilies' ( watch?v=RQngsAdSWTc ) . I'm glad I found this video. It's educating and entertaining at the same time. perfect.
@westcoastlife4show Why don't you evolve into an honest person and talk that shit with your real account. Even regular trolls have accounts that aren't blatant soc accounts.
i believe humans are more moral than GOD. we strive to help and preserve life. GOD looks to torture and destroy. if the bible is taken literary, god has tortured and killed `3000 times more people than Satin. are religious people worshiping the wrong entity?
@elfy99803 hi there. Isn't there a verse in the bible that warns not to call people idiots? Whoever says you fool, will be in danger. I am not sure I understand your argument about Adam and eve either. According to genesis, they did not know right from wrong, so how can eating of the tree - and hence original sin, be their fault? Take care
WHY ARE ATHEISTS ALWAYS ASUMING THAT GOD MADE EARTH FOR EVERYTHING TO BE PERFECT? NOWHERE does the BIBLE ever say God made earth for it to be all perfect and everything perfect. Atheist are very stupid just like this guy who made the video. -_______-
its funny atheists always use this argument that if God exists why blah blah disaster, aids, blah blah, nowhere does it say it suppose to be perfect so dont bring up that argument!!
@elfy99803 Genesis 1-31 "God saw all that he had made, and it was very good." If it was very good then and it sucks now, then something must have gone wrong. What went wrong and how is it not God's fault? That is the question.
So...Adan and Eve did something wrong and it's God's fault?
So let's say a Mother and a Father has a son. That son decided to go break the law. Who's fault is it? The son, who broke the law, the parents who didn't stop him? The country who didn't stop him? the laws who couldn't control him? no one, its the son's fault.
@elfy99803 I hope you never have kids, because your ideas of parenting suck. Adam (not Adan, you idiot) had no knowledge of right and wrong. That suggests he was naive, like a child. If a parent will not lead a child away from, say, a drug dealer, before the dealer can convince him to take drugs that would doom him and ALL his children, then it is the parent's fault. There was a lot at stake with the apple, and God turned a blind eye to the snake. It is HIS fault.
@MunkyDrag0n Adam might not have known what evil was but God had given clear instructions that he should not eat the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil or he (Adam) would die. Adam and Eve were not naive, they were perfectly (no pun intended) mature adults. THEY ate of the tree by THEIR own choice. Technically, Adam could have rebuked the snake and actually explained what God had originally said to counter the snake's clever twisting of words.
@SageofTalos Do you have evidence for this, or are you just an average apologist pulling this out of your ass? I have another problem: what is knowledge of good and evil? It is assumed that Adam and Eve lacked the knowledge of good and evil because they gained something upon eating the fruit. What exactly does that meant. One more problem: why punish children for the wrongdoings of the parents? The whole story is morally wrong.
@MunkyDrag0n, evidence? Gen 1:28 says "Multiply and fill the earth and subdue it." And Gen 2:15 it is written: "And the Lord placed man in the Garden of Eden to care for it." Lastly, God's instructions: "If you eat of this tree you will surely die." If Adam and Eve were not mature or were simply naive, they would not be able to grasp the concept of what they were told to tend the earth. Nor would they be able to comprehend the conept of death and why not to eat from the tree. cont-
@SageofTalos Okay, I read Genesis and several things are made clear.
1. Adam was supposed to be fruitful and increase in number before a woman was made for him? Are you kidding me? Maybe Adam reproduces by mitosis?!
2. The eat-the-fruit-and-die part was a downright lie. The snake was correct in his statements. Besides, how are Adam and Eve supposed to know death when nothing died before the fall?
@MunkyDrag0n I just found this comment. Man as in Mankind not just Adam alright. No need to nitpick pointlessly. Also since-again-Adam and Eve were both mature they most likely reasoned that to eat of the tree would end their life. And they did die eventually. God never specified when they would die, just that they would.
@MunkyDrag0n Now on what the knowledge of good and evil-or specifically the tree itself. The tree of the knowledge of good and evil-again-was designed to further bring in free will. Since Adam and Eve had not sinned, evil was something they did not know. The tree was only called what it was was because God commanded Adam and Eve not to eat of it. By eating from it would be a sin and thus open their eyes to evil. Thus Mankind had a choice to do as they wanted: God's will or theirs.
@SageofTalos You have failed again to define what good and evil is. If it just knowledge of moral character, then Adam and Eve could have been sinning before they ate the fruit. They would not have known if they were. Is God able to punish sin only if a person knows sin? Was the fruit some Pandora's box of sorts that released sin? Then why is there good AND evil in the fruit? I don't give a damn what God commanded. If his commands are unreasonable, then it doesn't matter.
@MunkyDrag0n Evil is more of a moral decay of what is good, it's something that is twisted from it's original purpose. The fruit did not contain good and evil the tree was called the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil only because of the COMMAND God had made. If you ate of that tree (which Adam and Eve were forbidden to do) then they would thus gain the knowledge of what good and evil truly are. So, in a way, the fruit was a pandora's box but only unless Man ate from it. cont-
@SageofTalos Now you are playing the symbolism card. I have had just about enough of your word games. You have not defined good and evil and have just repeated on and on about God's command. It is pointless.
@MunkyDrag0n, Good and evil are both broad subjects that cannot be easily explained with less than 500 characters; at least not by somone like me who takes forever to make a point. I will admit that my answers are definitely not satisfactory to your liking as they are not the best explanations. I am not the go to person for questions such as these. I was just being stupid enough to go on and have a debate with someone jsut to argue a point and have failed. Indeed this is pointless
@MunkyDrag0n The conscience is our built in method of determining right and wrong. However, it slowly loses it's affectiveness as we get older due to our ignoring it. God does not allow us to Sin and get away with it, the offender will suffer consequences of their actions. Or God might change the person's circumstances to become unfavorable for the person to turn them from their Sin. A person will have their deeds brought to light. Also, what commands of God were unreasonable?
@SageofTalos It was unreasonable to lie about what the fruit did. It was unreasonable to allow a crafty serpent to smooth-talk Eve. It was unreasonable to give two people a choice that would effect billions to come. You have made it clear that God's standards are arbitrary. Just punishing for most people and reforming others? How is that fair? BTW, the existence of a conscience was disproved scientifically by studying human brain chemistry.
@MunkyDrag0n Now on your question: "Why should Children be punished for the wrongdoings of the parents? The fact Adam and Eve had eat the fruit from the tree, they had let evil into the world. Cause and effect is really what goes on here. Say a father commits a crime and goes to prison for 30 years. His children suffer for that as they are deprived of a father and his actions have an affect on their life-the child still pays. I hope this answers your questions.
@SageofTalos This is the most pathetic argument of all, you are telling me missing a person is equal to being BORN with sin and going to Hell?! Are you kidding me?! Even your analogy fails. The child, when born, would not be required to serve a 30 year sentence would it? He/she would not be locked up with many other criminals and fed disgusting food, right? The child becomes a spectator, not a criminal, in your analogy!
@MunkyDrag0n I apologize for the poor analogy. NO, missing a person is not equal to being born with sin and going to hell. I know I wasn't clear enough here. The child does not take the parent's sins on themselves. The parent's sins are the parent's. But sin has a ripple effect that affects the people around them. That was what I was going for. And yes, the child becomes a spectator because they didn't land their parent in jail. They deal with the affects of the parent's absence.
@elfy99803 Except in your analogy the parents are not omniscient and all-powerful. If the parents were, then it would be their fault for creating such a bad child even though they new before they created him, he would be bad.
God made us in his image. We are perfect, therefore, God is perfect...
No, wait! We are flawed. Therefore, God is flawed.
No wait! We WERE perfect, but God put conditions in place that led to our fall. Rather than forgive us, he decided to vanish and become mute while making it mandatory for us to believe in him.
If this is perfect, then I would like to be as far from perfection as possible...
You sir are a dumbass. Just because we are made in God's image does not mean we have God's qualities.
Suppose this, let's say i build a robot, does that mean the robot MUST have the same intelligence as me because I built it? NOOOO but if I made the robot like me I made it in my image, that doesn't mean it has the same qualities, nowhere in the Bible does it say people are perfect, in fact, Jesus even said hes not perfect, only God is.
@elfy99803 You sir are the real dumb-ass, because I wrote "No, wait!" after I wrote that we had God's qualities. Every Christian I've talked to confirmed the last of my ideas. We were perfect (at least in not aging, not getting sick, not having cancer, etc) until Adam and Eve ate the apple and introduced original sin. This is what YOUR book and YOUR people say, not me. I never said humans had the same intelligence as God. Last time I checked, "in my image" indicated similar qualities. You fail!
And it's sad that you yourself can't understand your statement, you are saying b/c we are flawed, God is, is that not what you wrote? Yes last time you checked, but in what year? Back then many of the BIble's words had different definitions. -_-
Also, your wording clearly shows your ignorance and sarcasm assumptions, "rather than forgive us" God does forgive, maybe YOU never have felt it b/c you are not a believer. Your writing from your 1st comements also indicates assumptions.
@elfy99803 Learn to read, idiot! "No, wait" means I took back the statement. Is it wrong for me to take back a statement I wrote, because I knew it was wrong? No! It is a common thing people say, which I will dismiss as not true. I was making fun of it. God did not forgive us, because forgiveness indicates unconditional freedom from consequence.
If I hit someone by accident while I was closing a door, then that person would be upset. But, if he or she forgives me, then it doesn't matter whether I am remorseful or not. He/she does not have the right to follow me and demand an apology or else book me for assault. That is exactly what God did. He claimed to forgive us, but if we do not acknowledge original sin (which I believe was an accident), then he'll send us to hell. His only excuse is his power. Shameful!
Disappointing. I was hoping to hear about the complexity of DNA and how this could be formed. This video is about the moral question of evil and suffering. Charles Darwin lost his daughter and hated the idea of God because of the presence of suffering.
@psalmblues If you're going down the road I think you are then don't. Look up the year Darwin came up with the idea of Natural Selection and then look at the year his daughter died. Even if this fib were true the evidence for Evolution would still be demonstrable. It doesn't matter how terrible a person Darwin was or was not, because it has no influence on the validity of the Theory of Evolution.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Basically, you are asking how can God and evil coexist, and it has been explained over and over again by christian apologetics. It is interesting that in the video you are only talking about DNA replication, but how did DNA form itself, where did the information in the genes come from, how can something that complicated come into being by accident, coincidence? That is the real question. I cant see how evolution fits in that. You asking God the 'why' question is like a fly asking about physics.
u just don't understand science..u are already committing a fallacy by thinking that complexity automatically means intelligence. great complexity can arise via small, simple, unintelligent steps, over a very long time.
and where does the information in dna come from?..it comes from chemicals..dna is made up of 4 nucleotides..the combination or sequence of these 4 nucleotides, determines what dna makes..the information is basically just the order the 4 nucleotides are in.
by stating that it's all an accident, is displaying your ignorance of evolution..evolution is driven mainly by natural selection..natural selection is a non random process..it's no accident that white rabbits tend to dominate snowy areas..it's no accident that traits which aid in survival, are kept, and spread throughout future populations..the creation of different traits is random. but the natural selection of those traits is very non accidental. life in its current form, is NOT accidental.
@sototajeri You ask more questions without actually addressing any of the points of the video yourself. Odd in that you are accusing potholer in asking stupid questions. ;)
God made Human or Human made God !!!!! Answer to such question are opponing up Science and belief are two oppositive pole .. and some fussy people making use of religion as tool for living ..make all short of hypocrats assumption to make people afraid and believe in GOD so dat that people donate more to church. ,and also earn respect and need not do much work ,,,So I say believe in GOD but dont belive blindly what GOD man says .!!!!! Dis video is a kick in there ASSS!!!!
Outrage at the suffering of people is understandable. For some it triggers the will to take loving and caring actions to help and make a difference in this world. For others it triggers an urge to hate God or the idea of it, just because they don't have answers. The author of this video perhaps doesn't realize that his strong feelings are God's calling to join the former category.
Some Christians might say that Satan doesn't alter the DNA "manually," but rather that he corrupted the entire DNA system, because of original sin. So DNA was once a perfect creation of God, but no longer is. Hence, all kinds of genetic problems.
But everyone knows the Time Cube is the one true religion, anyway.
@Mr4Jesus hahahaa WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU. i can just imagine someone watching this video, which just completely showed that "intelligent design" makes no sense whatsoever (it baffles me that people even could possibly believe in anything supernatural) and then you just go "ummm.... idk what to say to that. oh yeah, i know, BIBLE QUOTE! YAY! that'll show 'em!"
One of many more points. You are being real and authentic. If there is a god then he responds to real stuff more than fake "I love you lord stuff " Be warned moving this kind of authentic rage will bring God quite close. Realness is the most rare thing God sees. When you are done with your rage. Stay still for 10-20 min and see what happen. He! He!
@3877michael I get done with it quite often (can't keep a rage on perpetually, after all, that's no way to live), and I meditate quite regularily, too, so "staying still" is no problem either. Frankly speaking, I don't really get what you mean...
@GrahamChapman Sorry. Check your messages. Two places YT did not let me post. Funny ! Just saying what you are doing is a good thing. And yes not as a life style. But from time to time. It is good. Emotional release is a quite powerful form of yoga. Meditation on the male side and emotional release on the female side. Way powerful. Not for beginners. I did meditation for 15 years and emotional release work for 4 years. Few like you.
Look for judgments and beliefs. They are always tied to emotional expression. ( I'm not good enough) ( I do not deserve love ) and so on. They are denials that have an effect on people. Kind of toxic consciousness ( thoughts) As judgments they imply guilt and guilt demands a sacrifice. Think a court of law.
Ooor maybe it is intelligent and malevolent? And, no, I'm not blaming Satan for the melevolence, I'm blaming GOD. Does he exist? Who cares? I wouldn't worship him even if he did, the sociopathic asshole of a bastard.
@GrahamChapman I love this. It is funny. I used to teach emotional healing ( work shop ). After we did a lot of work on Mom and Pop stuff, it always ended up with " fuck god " for being such an asshole. My POV is that every person has enormous amounts of denied rage toward God.
@3877michael Okay, now you got me curious on how the "Mom and Pop" stuff could end up in "fuck god" territory... As usual, I'm not like "every person" then. I acknowledge my rage at him and let it out at every opportunity I get. This despite the fact that I'm agnostic, so I'm not sure if I'm lashing out at a real being. However, since there are people who worship him, I might as well make my opinions and povs heard.
(What we are talking about right now is called "Misotheism", "hatred of God/s".)
@greenjelly01 Sure, I could buy that. In fact, it would make a lot of sense if such was the case, and it wouldn't change my standpoint ('God' is unworthy of being worshipped) either, but merely explain 'why' I would think such was the case.
My theory is the mutations featured in the video are another test of man's humanity and ingenuity to help fellow human beings, perhaps it pleases the lord.
You left out the possible question of humans de-evolving.This is not the way it was intended as you should already know that chirality is a big problem for evolution.I would like to see you debunk this one by Dr.Charles Mccomb.Chirality can not be created in molecules by random chanceI think i will listen to the guy who has 20 chemical patents and has a ph.d inorganic chemistry.Your nonsense is contagious like a common cold you still hang right in there, hoping to find another host.you=bull crap.
I love your videos. Too bad you couldn't use your talents for more profitable purposes like finding common ground, promoting peace between factions, etc. But I guess since God doesn't make junk, he must have had a purpose for creating you too. We just have to wait and see what that might be. Good luck
Azone - maybe because god is said to have these amazing attributes but if you he is cruel, I'm sure we can find a few veligers who will say you are wrong.
well IF God exists, and was behind DNA, then what if imperfect DNA was there as a hurdle for us as a race to overcome and grow from? but God is meant to be all merciful right people? Well....so what if it's not? Why does it need to be all merciful? Too bad! This is the exact argument Dawkins uses when faced with an Atheist universe being cold and unmerciful. He simply says "so what?" Therefore the same can be said for a divine force. So what if it's cruel? we'll overcome bad DNA in the end
@azone76 for starters, every major religion claims how loving and merciful god is. With your DNA theory they would just contradict themselves. Secondly, attributing imperfection of DNA to god is dishonest. Then we can also claim that natural disasters are tests, diseases are tests, emotional turmoils are stress etc. Besides, what would attributing it to god do us as civilization anyway?
@iluvium Makes sense in the 10th dimension - uh, what? Lets ask an astrophysicist about the dimensions. If god was created by god, by god and so on, then maybe infinity exists or multiverse :D
But how on Earth aren't we designed to reproduce a lot? If a woman can have a baby year after year and manages to stay alive long enough so that her kids can grow up & reproduce, then we are designed to reproduce a lot. Otherwise if she dies and her kids starve, then natural selection would get rid of us.
I find it strangely conspicuous that the author of this video focuses on the many examples of DNA data being corrupted in reproduction.......but NO examples of DNA data being elevated to new and more complex data.
Also the assertion that God MUST perform to the dictates of the videos author is just plainly laughable.
It is, by definition, more complexity. Entire traits do not appear, but instead arise gradually, with each step seeming minor to the past, until a comparison between ancestors and the present generation shows a great leap. For example, comparing our ancestor from 12 million years ago to us makes the ancestor look alien, because it is a smaller ape. Going further we see animals like the modern shrew being a very distant ancestor (100 or so million years).
@TheMotherPhuckers Totally agree! The point was very valid, and the imagery was arguably necessary, but it's hard to look at people so afflicted and not feel bad for them.
God planned and designed everything before it was created. He planned for the DNA to be corrupt in the flesh to make us all liars. This made it easier for his chosen ones to hear the truth. The only reason for this first age was to reveal his knowledge so it can be used by his new bodies in paradise. The knowledge will guide them to form a new vocabulary and language. Then God can reveal more knowledge to them as they speak to each other.
What makes you so special? Were you hanging around the Jewish Pharisees like the other Christians have done since Christianity was started by the Romans in the early fourth century.
God did not make perfect humans. God made them similar to him. And from everything your saying about God, you obviously have never spent time to learn more about what your speaking out against. But then, thats how it is with all the people speaking out against religion. You can believe what you want, but stop making yourself a complete douchebag.
@Zendrig gods crappy design? really? in that case, you are also a crappy design. you forget that dna and what makes humans is freakin like, almost impossible to form from a speck. learn biology. crazy stuff man crazy stuff.
@Zendrig yes, I did. just because people can be born with mental retardation doesnt mean god cant possibly bee real. my opinion believe what you want. these arguments never get anywhere. if you think about it, we are all just made out of elements, that after billions of years, created humans. with organs, cells, dna, the brain, ect. thats why i beleive in god.
@toiletscrubbr I feel the same way about God that you feel about abiogenesis.
The difference is that we can experiment with biology and trace life back to its basic building blocks whereas the God hypothesis requires faith that there is a supernatural reality "out there" where intelligence and creativity can exist without material counterparts. Evidence = 0.
@Zendrig science is actually based on theories, like the big bang theory. so you pretty much just have a differnet religion than me. wheres your solid evidence for how humans were created.
@toiletscrubbr "wheres your solid evidence for how humans were created."
It's in our DNA and in every natural history museum. Call it religion (if you think that's an insult). If religions were based on scientific theories, everyone should sign up.
That's exactly the right question to ask because it leaves open all possibilities. I'm glad you didn't pose the question in the common biased way of "WHO made dna?"
Fortunately we live in a time where we have the tools required to investigate highly complicated phenomena on this microscopic scale. Just 100 years ago the honest answer would've been: "We don't know." Now we can say: "We're beginning to understand the process."
@Zendrig exactly. your beginning to understand the process. So you dont know everything yet. So why the hell are people saying things that god is not real because science proves him wrong? science is pretty much a religion itself
@toiletscrubbr Because there is no evidence for gods. So the honest approach is to say "we don't know" not "god did it until you can prove me wrong". God isn't even defined so how could you possibly prove him/her/it wrong? It's a non-issue in science. I don't know how you would define "religion" but I wouldn't put science in that category because religions usually deal with things outside of our realm of understanding (aka fiction) whereas science is merely a process to investigate reality.
@toiletscrubbr "no, people arent saying they dont know. their saying hes cant possibly be real."
Depending on the claims the theist makes about his god, that might be true. For example: A god cannot be both omnipresent and omnibenevolent when considering the world around us. Atheists respond to claims theists make about their gods. Most of these claims are not only unsubstantiated but self-contradictory.
@potholer54 now honestly people take in so much crap into their bodys and breed with family members and also there is so much pollution and radiation on this planet that are all man made so then you decide to blame God ? what a joke !
@thrallskull Is he all powerful and all knowing or isn't he?How weak and short sighted must he be not to know that the humans that he created would come up with fossil fuel burning vehicles and factories. Many of your same ilk would say God put the petroleium underneath the ground for humans to later use.The radiation that you speak of that causes random mutation comes largely from our sun and the universe around us.What god didn't foresee that either?
@thrallskull the point of the video wasn't to "blame god" but to show how random life is.To show you some of the reasons why there are people in the world that hold fast to the claim that god doesn't exist because there's no way something of unlimited power and goodness would allow such things to manifest in the world.
@gamesmaster35 God gave all living beings freedom of choice and the ability to be in control of our own lives ,with that said = (He also doesnt intervene in our lives) = (He is not here to baby us)
Most diseases didnt exits until we created them either out of screwing around with genetics or by having rotten cesspools of shit that either creates a virus or makes an animal/human sick then mutation occurs and a harmless thing becomes deadly
@thrallskull which doesn't wash in this case. You're talking about disease, natural disasters, things that people as of yet have little to no control over. These deformities are a direct result of nature not anything man did or didn't do.No real decision on man's part.So sorry try again.
Here's a experiment I would like you to try.Next time you see a natural disaster ask yourself what would you do if you had omnipotent power.
@gamesmaster35 Earlier days these things were a rare occurrence but now its everywhere due to overpopulation and living in disgusting conditions ,take for example they one black women that worked for us , she has 9 kids ! but can only manage to feed 3 of them , so why so many kids ? no its not their culture ! its irresponsible and stupidity ! she sleeps around ! and then doesnt know or even care who the father is = so now starvation occurs and poor living conditions = death and disease
@thrallskull These things were everywhere back then too.The difference was that at one point in time you barely heard news from other places. You might have heard what was happening in the next town over , maybe as far as whatever capital you had but rarely did the common man hear anything beyond that. Now a days if someone got stabbed in Istanbul you hear about it.That's the difference.
@gamesmaster35 also this video says only certain types of africans/blacks have the ability to combat malaria in their system that makes it harder for them to contract the disease ,ok but heres the thing im african yes im white but im still an african and dont have black family members so then why do i also have this ability (with no side effects)
@thrallskull You might have been innoculated for Malaria earlier when you were younger so your body has a immunity that is missing from African people who didn't get the innoculation. But if you have sickle cell you have the bad sideeffects as well as the benefit there's no getting around that (at least not for now anyway).
@gamesmaster35 its a fact white african are less likely to contract diseases here than white europeans,so that some have special powers with side effects and others don t! that argument is flawed ! A liberal would have you believe we all are equal bla bla bullshit ! but infact we as different races of the world are different species altogether and one does have traits that the other doesnt but this
@thrallskull I fail to see where you are going with this to be honest.Whites are not inherently better than blacks when it comes to Malaria get over yourself.Whites are more likely to be able to afford the innoculation to shield themselves and their offspring from getting Malaria in the first place though.A liberal would have you to believe that we are equal which we are.Just because you would roast in the sun compared to me doesn't make me better than you.Just different in that area.
@gamesmaster35 doesnt mean the other one has no immunity to something and is just guna die out = the human body has the ability to adapt and become immune to certain diseases, the strongest will survive, even a cold can kill someone if their body is to weak to handle it,want to blame somebody for diseases blame the ones ruling the world and making us all poorer and poorer , charging us for the very land we walk on ,who the fuck put them in charge !
@gamesmaster35 nobody ! but if you dont comply with their bullshit then they send their goons (police) to come imprison you ! and nobody is willing to do shit about it ! everybody only talks talks talks but when shit needs to be done then people like me are left standing their alone and the rest flee like the cowards they are !
@gamesmaster35 Did you know there is a cure for cancer and all those horrible diseases, and there is also an alternate clean energy source but the gov of the world is making millions of all of us and controlling our lives with this bullshit ! and the lying media !
I wondered for a long time why yaweh had a gender, implying a penis and testis. It was to cuckold joseph thousands of years later. Jk of course, No reason to believe jesus or yaweh are anything but fiction.
Whatever. If I'm just a germ on a big round fruit fungus tripping balls into another pointless, forgotten existence where if it's bad it will feel perpetual and if it's good it'll fill me up then be gone in a flash then so be it. But I've still got an imagination, and if I want to use it to pretend there's some sort of higher meaning to all this, then I don't see too much harm in that. Might actually make life a bit more bearable to some.
@skytrooper1980 There is harm in imaging bullshit and not accepting fact. It hinders ability to interact with the real world. People adjust their lives to beliefs. So if you believe in something w/o evidence and worse propagating that fallacy to others, you are doing something that impacts reality. We dont need an imaginary friend for meaning. We can give ourselves and others meaning. Which is why not having fake friend is more imperative.
@mistereveready Yes I agree with that, but there is a difference between accepting fact and being open to the the possibility of other ideas. My point is that none of the Big Questions have been answered yet, therefore there are all sorts of possibilities still open for debate. A lot lot of debate gets lots in the translation of words, but isn't Atheism a belief? An unchanging static, belief in nothing after death and no creator?
@skytrooper1980 Define big questions. Atheism = no belief in a god. There are people who dont' believe in a god but do an afterlife. First devise a coherent hypothesis of what are god(s). Then with evidence people would have valid reasons to believe it. If it is establish a fact that x creature with y attributes is labled god(s), then theories developed to understand that would emerge. Atm people are still at the imagination and arguments from ignorance phase.
Maybe I'm wrong, but the word "Atheism" seems like a pretty static thing. It's a belief. Agnosticism, on the other hand is like Atheism opened up to other possibilities. This where Science Fiction and Fantasy may enter the picture. The Realm of Possibilities. All Agnosticism is. is the open side of Atheism. Because Atheism is a belief in nothing but what we already know. In other words, Agnosticism is imagination. Atheism is a belief in the proven, and does not universally exist yet.
@skytrooper1980 agnosticism=someone who says they dont know, atheism=don't believe. A gnostic atheist would be the one with the belief that would require verification. that would be an assertion that the person KNOWS that there aren't any gods. Problem is the word god is so vague, it's tough to even have people put forth arguments for it. especially with so many moving goal post fallacies involved. atheism is not a belief, it's a lack of it.
@mistereveready (Continued) So could it be, that the element of Atheism is contained within Agnosticism? Because Agnostics don't really believe in anything either. The only difference is that agnostics are open to other possibilities. The concept gets mixed up with the word "belief," which I think is a terrible word to use, and should be put aside for religious extremists.
@skytrooper1980 you misunderstand. a person can be an agnostic theist, ie I believe, but I dont know. or an atheist. i disagree about religious extremist and the term believe. beliefs are what we accept is true, but not necessarily absolutely. not all agnostics are open to possibilities. one of the many definitions of agnostic is that the knowledge is inherently unknowable. think the biggest problem in situations like these is defining words and points then working from there.
@mistereveready I take that back. I think I'm confusing the word "belief" with "know." Nothing has been universally unarguably proven, yet he may have hope, faith, imagination, passion, and belief in whatever he wants. It's the right of man to choose to believe whatever he wants and I that goes for Atheists as well. Atheism is to Agnosticism what Radical anything is to any peaceful religion.
@skytrooper1980 We are limited to our own perceptions and biases. I think you mixed the part about atheism to agnosticism. Also radical doesnt necessarily mean not peaceful. Honestly it's tough to be radical with religion since fiction is so pliable. Worse, many sects are often actually acting in accordance to many of the books they adhere to. Agnosticism in the can never know sense is bullshit. To assert that something can't be known is to profess knowledge that it can't be.
Very interesting views on the DNA and its flaws in the system of DNA replication. I appreciate the time and efforts spent on the video that represent your ideas/theories, possibly going against a group of people in the world.
But I believe trying to disprove God exists in this way does not explain anything as God's actions, plans are 'acceptedly (from religious point of view)' unexplainable within our little knowledge. Furthermore, this would also imply we have no definition of good and evil.
Also, if God did not exist, then what would be the point in existing at all? And I think your life would not last very long if it just formed on accident. Due to the complexity, I think life would be much more rare than it is, in both time span and frequency. But there are many life forms, and they live for a long time. They function quite nicely, and seem very intelligent. And since life designs life, that in itself is an intelligent design. Take for instance symbiosis.
I just love how Atheists always pick the easiest targets to argue against. A man in the sky throwing bolts, a devil running around, a three thousand year old book written by a hundred men along the way. And they say, do you see how ridiculous this is? Sure, there are glitches in the program, but man, show a little appreciation for Life.. Just because the universe is not perfect does not mean God doesn't exist. Your Atheism is just as bad as all the stupid b.s. religions.
ummm, well maybe God just designed the blueprint. Doesn't mean the machinery is going to function perfectly every single time. And if sickle cell anemia can combat malaria, well that seems pretty intelligent to me. And what about you? Are you intelligent, or do you think you're just a bunch of shit thrown together too?
I know you're not into messages, still, I must say, I love your profile. While I don't completely agree with all your views, I found your rhetoric interesting, intriguing & well worth the read. If you do get around to reading this message, I hope it puts a smile on your face to know that someone has appreciated the magnitude of your comments. And the Hindu Sacred Cow comment... @clipped- You should be able to explain the "Flying Clams"... And how they got to the top of mountains that you couldn't even limb if you wanted to. Water that covered every mountain top, deposited them there.
@VisionArts I assume the same way a number of shell fish and fossils have ended up on high land by shifting tectonic movements and a constantly changing environment during the ages. Watch potholers video in the ice age and some of the debunking myths about the grand canyon. It is all clearly explained by the same logical consistent evidence that helps you to draw basic conclusions in many parts of your life.

Properly understood, God and the logically derived at "creator" have a great deal of overlap in their natures, ...
britcom1 5 days ago
so much so that the areas that fall outside this overlap can be canceled out as false theological assumptions. For example, you say that God created life in perfection. This is a theological fallacy. People like to believe that God's powers of creation MUST have the nature of perfection that we like. But God's idea of perfection is not like ours. God's idea is a Wholistic view life as means to an end using what exists, not our idea perfect life that has no flaws or errors or ills. ...
britcom1 5 days ago
The bible clearly teaches us that we are flawed creatures of flesh and only God himself has the state of perfection. DNA and its errors is a necessary evil because life must have it to work in this temporal state of physics. When one understands that God is real being who exists out there in space (what the ancients called "heaven") and realises that that being not only seeded life on this planet, but also genetically modified that life to produce more intelligent creatures called humans, ...
britcom1 5 days ago
And that He (God/the creator) TOLD us about what he did in the ancient past and we stored that knowledge in the bible using the limited verbal concepts available in that day to describe a highly advanced system of technology used by an ancient and highly advanced being (God), then you begin to realize that what is described in the bible and what science describes don't conflict, they correlate. It is man's penchant for overly mythologizing and ultra-deifying God's nature that creates conflict.
britcom1 5 days ago
There is also the fallacy of blaming God for deformity like he's not doing his job or some such idea. This life is a temporal existence, we live and then we die. If God were the God most people expect him to be, surely he wouldn't allow death or suffering to exist. But that is human rationalization of what God is. The reason for death and suffering in this world is because we are the mechanism to improve life (or to corrupt it) ...
britcom1 5 days ago
The temporal flesh is weak and dies, but the spiritual being within that temporal body is what God is after. This he will use to create a better us. But we must pass the spiritual test first to go on to the next level of life. (not a heavenly life, that's another false theological notion, but a future Earthly life in a new perfected body). What happens to those who pass the test? They are separated and destroyed like chaff is burned but the wheat is saved.
britcom1 5 days ago
By this method of spiritual Darwinism we as a species will be purified and improved and ultimately saved and live again in the resurrection. Sound harsh? It is, but it is what is necessary to defeat humanity's desire for evil and violence. We are being domesticated by the circumstances that God set up for us.
britcom1 5 days ago
So we can live with him in his future kingdom.

@elfy99803 Genesis 1-31 "God saw all that he had made, and it was very good." If it was very good then and it sucks now, then something must have gone wrong. What went wrong and how is it not God's fault? That is the question.
MunkyDrag0n 3 months ago
@MunkyDrag0n
So...Adan and Eve did something wrong and it's God's fault?
So let's say a Mother and a Father has a son. That son decided to go break the law. Who's fault is it? The son, who broke the law, the parents who didn't stop him? The country who didn't stop him? the laws who couldn't control him? no one, its the son's fault.
elfy99803 3 months ago
@elfy99803 I hope you never have kids, because your ideas of parenting suck. Adam (not Adan, you idiot) had no knowledge of right and wrong. That suggests he was naive, like a child. If a parent will not lead a child away from, say, a drug dealer, before the dealer can convince him to take drugs that would doom him and ALL his children, then it is the parent's fault. There was a lot at stake with the apple, and God turned a blind eye to the snake. It is HIS fault.
MunkyDrag0n 3 months ago
@MunkyDrag0n Adam might not have known what evil was but God had given clear instructions that he should not eat the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil or he (Adam) would die. Adam and Eve were not naive, they were perfectly (no pun intended) mature adults. THEY ate of the tree by THEIR own choice. Technically, Adam could have rebuked the snake and actually explained what God had originally said to counter the snake's clever twisting of words.
SageofTalos 1 month ago
@SageofTalos Do you have evidence for this, or are you just an average apologist pulling this out of your ass? I have another problem: what is knowledge of good and evil? It is assumed that Adam and Eve lacked the knowledge of good and evil because they gained something upon eating the fruit. What exactly does that meant. One more problem: why punish children for the wrongdoings of the parents? The whole story is morally wrong.
MunkyDrag0n 1 month ago
@MunkyDrag0n, evidence? Gen 1:28 says "Multiply and fill the earth and subdue it." And Gen 2:15 it is written: "And the Lord placed man in the Garden of Eden to care for it." Lastly, God's instructions: "If you eat of this tree you will surely die." If Adam and Eve were not mature or were simply naive, they would not be able to grasp the concept of what they were told to tend the earth. Nor would they be able to comprehend the conept of death and why not to eat from the tree. cont-
SageofTalos 1 month ago
@SageofTalos Okay, I read Genesis and several things are made clear.
1. Adam was supposed to be fruitful and increase in number before a woman was made for him? Are you kidding me? Maybe Adam reproduces by mitosis?!
2. The eat-the-fruit-and-die part was a downright lie. The snake was correct in his statements. Besides, how are Adam and Eve supposed to know death when nothing died before the fall?
MunkyDrag0n 1 month ago
@MunkyDrag0n I just found this comment. Man as in Mankind not just Adam alright. No need to nitpick pointlessly. Also since-again-Adam and Eve were both mature they most likely reasoned that to eat of the tree would end their life. And they did die eventually. God never specified when they would die, just that they would.
SageofTalos 1 month ago
@MunkyDrag0n Now on what the knowledge of good and evil-or specifically the tree itself. The tree of the knowledge of good and evil-again-was designed to further bring in free will. Since Adam and Eve had not sinned, evil was something they did not know. The tree was only called what it was was because God commanded Adam and Eve not to eat of it. By eating from it would be a sin and thus open their eyes to evil. Thus Mankind had a choice to do as they wanted: God's will or theirs.
SageofTalos 1 month ago
@SageofTalos You have failed again to define what good and evil is. If it just knowledge of moral character, then Adam and Eve could have been sinning before they ate the fruit. They would not have known if they were. Is God able to punish sin only if a person knows sin? Was the fruit some Pandora's box of sorts that released sin? Then why is there good AND evil in the fruit? I don't give a damn what God commanded. If his commands are unreasonable, then it doesn't matter.
MunkyDrag0n 1 month ago
@MunkyDrag0n Evil is more of a moral decay of what is good, it's something that is twisted from it's original purpose. The fruit did not contain good and evil the tree was called the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil only because of the COMMAND God had made. If you ate of that tree (which Adam and Eve were forbidden to do) then they would thus gain the knowledge of what good and evil truly are. So, in a way, the fruit was a pandora's box but only unless Man ate from it. cont-
SageofTalos 1 month ago

SageofTalos 1 month ago
@MunkyDrag0n The conscience is our built in method of determining right and wrong. However, it slowly loses it's affectiveness as we get older due to our ignoring it. God does not allow us to Sin and get away with it, the offender will suffer consequences of their actions. Or God might change the person's circumstances to become unfavorable for the person to turn them from their Sin. A person will have their deeds brought to light. Also, what commands of God were unreasonable?
SageofTalos 1 month ago
@SageofTalos It was unreasonable to lie about what the fruit did. It was unreasonable to allow a crafty serpent to smooth-talk Eve. It was unreasonable to give two people a choice that would effect billions to come. You have made it clear that God's standards are arbitrary. Just punishing for most people and reforming others? How is that fair? BTW, the existence of a conscience was disproved scientifically by studying human brain chemistry.
MunkyDrag0n 1 month ago
@MunkyDrag0n Now on your question: "Why should Children be punished for the wrongdoings of the parents? The fact Adam and Eve had eat the fruit from the tree, they had let evil into the world. Cause and effect is really what goes on here. Say a father commits a crime and goes to prison for 30 years. His children suffer for that as they are deprived of a father and his actions have an affect on their life-the child still pays. I hope this answers your questions.
SageofTalos 1 month ago
@SageofTalos This is the most pathetic argument of all, you are telling me missing a person is equal to being BORN with sin and going to Hell?! Are you kidding me?! Even your analogy fails. The child, when born, would not be required to serve a 30 year sentence would it? He/she would not be locked up with many other criminals and fed disgusting food, right? The child becomes a spectator, not a criminal, in your analogy!
MunkyDrag0n 1 month ago
@MunkyDrag0n I apologize for the poor analogy. NO, missing a person is not equal to being born with sin and going to hell. I know I wasn't clear enough here. The child does not take the parent's sins on themselves. The parent's sins are the parent's. But sin has a ripple effect that affects the people around them. That was what I was going for. And yes, the child becomes a spectator because they didn't land their parent in jail. They deal with the affects of the parent's absence.
SageofTalos 1 month ago
@SageofTalos So then in what position are we? The criminals or the spectators and WHY did God choose that position?
MunkyDrag0n 1 month ago

@MunkyDrag0n
So don't assume you dumbass.
elfy99803 3 months ago
@elfy99803 You sir are the real dumb-ass, because I wrote "No, wait!" after I wrote that we had God's qualities. Every Christian I've talked to confirmed the last of my ideas. We were perfect (at least in not aging, not getting sick, not having cancer, etc) until Adam and Eve ate the apple and introduced original sin. This is what YOUR book and YOUR people say, not me. I never said humans had the same intelligence as God. Last time I checked, "in my image" indicated similar qualities. You fail!
MunkyDrag0n 3 months ago
@MunkyDrag0n
Your writing from your 1st comements also indicates assumptions.
elfy99803 3 months ago
@elfy99803 Learn to read, idiot! "No, wait" means I took back the statement. Is it wrong for me to take back a statement I wrote, because I knew it was wrong? No! It is a common thing people say, which I will dismiss as not true. I was making fun of it. God did not forgive us, because forgiveness indicates unconditional freedom from consequence.
MunkyDrag0n 3 months ago
@elfy99803 Think this way:

This comment has received too many negative votes show
Basically, you are asking how can God and evil coexist, and it has been explained over and over again by christian apologetics. It is interesting that in the video you are only talking about DNA replication, but how did DNA form itself, where did the information in the genes come from, how can something that complicated come into being by accident, coincidence? That is the real question. I cant see how evolution fits in that. You asking God the 'why' question is like a fly asking about physics.
sototajeri 6 months ago
@sototajeri
u just don't understand science..u are already committing a fallacy by thinking that complexity automatically means intelligence. great complexity can arise via small, simple, unintelligent steps, over a very long time.
and where does the information in dna come from?..it comes from chemicals..dna is made up of 4 nucleotides..the combination or sequence of these 4 nucleotides, determines what dna makes..the information is basically just the order the 4 nucleotides are in.
itzahazylife 6 months ago
by stating that it's all an accident, is displaying your ignorance of evolution..evolution is driven mainly by natural selection..natural selection is a non random process..it's no accident that white rabbits tend to dominate snowy areas..it's no accident that traits which aid in survival, are kept, and spread throughout future populations..the creation of different traits is random. but the natural selection of those traits is very non accidental. life in its current form, is NOT accidental.

He! He!
3877michael 7 months ago
@3877michael I get done with it quite often (can't keep a rage on perpetually, after all, that's no way to live), and I meditate quite regularily, too, so "staying still" is no problem either. Frankly speaking, I don't really get what you mean...
GrahamChapman 7 months ago
@GrahamChapman Sorry. Check your messages. Two places YT did not let me post. Funny ! Just saying what you are doing is a good thing. And yes not as a life style. But from time to time. It is good. Emotional release is a quite powerful form of yoga. Meditation on the male side and emotional release on the female side. Way powerful. Not for beginners. I did meditation for 15 years and emotional release work for 4 years. Few like you.
Respect...
3877michael 7 months ago
Look for judgments and beliefs. They are always tied to emotional expression. ( I'm not good enough) ( I do not deserve love ) and so on. They are denials that have an effect on people. Kind of toxic consciousness ( thoughts) As judgments they imply guilt and guilt demands a sacrifice. Think a court of law.
3877michael 7 months ago
Ooor maybe it is intelligent and malevolent? And, no, I'm not blaming Satan for the melevolence, I'm blaming GOD. Does he exist? Who cares? I wouldn't worship him even if he did, the sociopathic asshole of a bastard.
GrahamChapman 7 months ago 32
@GrahamChapman I love this. It is funny. I used to teach emotional healing ( work shop ). After we did a lot of work on Mom and Pop stuff, it always ended up with " fuck god " for being such an asshole. My POV is that every person has enormous amounts of denied rage toward God.
3877michael 7 months ago

Bhags7 9 months ago
well IF God exists, and was behind DNA, then what if imperfect DNA was there as a hurdle for us as a race to overcome and grow from? but God is meant to be all merciful right people? Well....so what if it's not? Why does it need to be all merciful? Too bad! This is the exact argument Dawkins uses when faced with an Atheist universe being cold and unmerciful. He simply says "so what?" Therefore the same can be said for a divine force. So what if it's cruel? we'll overcome bad DNA in the end
azone76 9 months ago
@azone76 for starters, every major religion claims how loving and merciful god is. With your DNA theory they would just contradict themselves. Secondly, attributing imperfection of DNA to god is dishonest. Then we can also claim that natural disasters are tests, diseases are tests, emotional turmoils are stress etc. Besides, what would attributing it to god do us as civilization anyway?

iluvium 9 months ago
@iluvium Makes sense in the 10th dimension - uh, what? Lets ask an astrophysicist about the dimensions. If god was created by god, by god and so on, then maybe infinity exists or multiverse :D
But how on Earth aren't we designed to reproduce a lot? If a woman can have a baby year after year and manages to stay alive long enough so that her kids can grow up & reproduce, then we are designed to reproduce a lot. Otherwise if she dies and her kids starve, then natural selection would get rid of us.
StandingRedPanda 9 months ago
I find it strangely conspicuous that the author of this video focuses on the many examples of DNA data being corrupted in reproduction.......but NO examples of DNA data being elevated to new and more complex data.
Also the assertion that God MUST perform to the dictates of the videos author is just plainly laughable.
ageofgrace 10 months ago
@ageofgrace
Then you didn't watch the part where he said that mutations can cause smaller noses, longer necks, bigger brains, etc.
The point was that god does none of it, because god isn't in the equation. The natural mechanism is imperfect.
kDest 9 months ago
@kDest
smaller noses, longer necks, bigger brains, etc. is hardly MORE complex.
ageofgrace 9 months ago
@ageofgrace
Going further we see animals like the modern shrew being a very distant ancestor (100 or so million years).
kDest 9 months ago
Ugh. - good video, just hard to watch even for an atheist.

jolluxz 10 months ago
God planned and designed everything before it was created. He planned for the DNA to be corrupt in the flesh to make us all liars. This made it easier for his chosen ones to hear the truth. The only reason for this first age was to reveal his knowledge so it can be used by his new bodies in paradise. The knowledge will guide them to form a new vocabulary and language. Then God can reveal more knowledge to them as they speak to each other.

@toiletscrubbr Who is he supposed to ask about the actual intents of god's crappy design. You?!
Zendrig 10 months ago
@Zendrig gods crappy design? really? in that case, you are also a crappy design. you forget that dna and what makes humans is freakin like, almost impossible to form from a speck. learn biology. crazy stuff man crazy stuff.
toiletscrubbr 10 months ago
@toiletscrubbr Did you even watch the video?
Zendrig 10 months ago
@Zendrig yes, I did. just because people can be born with mental retardation doesnt mean god cant possibly bee real. my opinion believe what you want. these arguments never get anywhere. if you think about it, we are all just made out of elements, that after billions of years, created humans. with organs, cells, dna, the brain, ect. thats why i beleive in god.
toiletscrubbr 10 months ago
@toiletscrubbr I feel the same way about God that you feel about abiogenesis.
The difference is that we can experiment with biology and trace life back to its basic building blocks whereas the God hypothesis requires faith that there is a supernatural reality "out there" where intelligence and creativity can exist without material counterparts. Evidence = 0.
Zendrig 10 months ago
@Zendrig science is actually based on theories, like the big bang theory. so you pretty much just have a differnet religion than me. wheres your solid evidence for how humans were created.
toiletscrubbr 10 months ago
@toiletscrubbr "wheres your solid evidence for how humans were created."
It's in our DNA and in every natural history museum. Call it religion (if you think that's an insult). If religions were based on scientific theories, everyone should sign up.
Zendrig 10 months ago
@Zendrig yea. our dna is proof. but what made dna?
toiletscrubbr 10 months ago
@toiletscrubbr "our dna is proof. but what made dna?"
Zendrig 10 months ago
@Zendrig exactly. your beginning to understand the process. So you dont know everything yet. So why the hell are people saying things that god is not real because science proves him wrong? science is pretty much a religion itself
toiletscrubbr 10 months ago
@toiletscrubbr Because there is no evidence for gods. So the honest approach is to say "we don't know" not "god did it until you can prove me wrong". God isn't even defined so how could you possibly prove him/her/it wrong? It's a non-issue in science. I don't know how you would define "religion" but I wouldn't put science in that category because religions usually deal with things outside of our realm of understanding (aka fiction) whereas science is merely a process to investigate reality.
Zendrig 10 months ago
@Zendrig no, people arent saying they dont know. their saying hes cant possibly be real.

Most of these claims are not only unsubstantiated but self-contradictory.

thrallskull 10 months ago
@thrallskull Is he all powerful and all knowing or isn't he?How weak and short sighted must he be not to know that the humans that he created would come up with fossil fuel burning vehicles and factories. Many of your same ilk would say God put the petroleium underneath the ground for humans to later use.The radiation that you speak of that causes random mutation comes largely from our sun and the universe around us.What god didn't foresee that either?
gamesmaster35 10 months ago
@thrallskull the point of the video wasn't to "blame god" but to show how random life is.To show you some of the reasons why there are people in the world that hold fast to the claim that god doesn't exist because there's no way something of unlimited power and goodness would allow such things to manifest in the world.
gamesmaster35 10 months ago
@gamesmaster35 God gave all living beings freedom of choice and the ability to be in control of our own lives ,with that said = (He also doesnt intervene in our lives) = (He is not here to baby us)
Most diseases didnt exits until we created them either out of screwing around with genetics or by having rotten cesspools of shit that either creates a virus or makes an animal/human sick then mutation occurs and a harmless thing becomes deadly
thrallskull 10 months ago
@thrallskull which doesn't wash in this case. You're talking about disease, natural disasters, things that people as of yet have little to no control over. These deformities are a direct result of nature not anything man did or didn't do.No real decision on man's part.So sorry try again.
Here's a experiment I would like you to try.Next time you see a natural disaster ask yourself what would you do if you had omnipotent power.
gamesmaster35 10 months ago
@gamesmaster35 Earlier days these things were a rare occurrence but now its everywhere due to overpopulation and living in disgusting conditions ,take for example they one black women that worked for us , she has 9 kids ! but can only manage to feed 3 of them , so why so many kids ? no its not their culture ! its irresponsible and stupidity ! she sleeps around ! and then doesnt know or even care who the father is = so now starvation occurs and poor living conditions = death and disease
thrallskull 10 months ago
@thrallskull These things were everywhere back then too.The difference was that at one point in time you barely heard news from other places. You might have heard what was happening in the next town over , maybe as far as whatever capital you had but rarely did the common man hear anything beyond that. Now a days if someone got stabbed in Istanbul you hear about it.That's the difference.
gamesmaster35 10 months ago
@gamesmaster35 also this video says only certain types of africans/blacks have the ability to combat malaria in their system that makes it harder for them to contract the disease ,ok but heres the thing im african yes im white but im still an african and dont have black family members so then why do i also have this ability (with no side effects)
thrallskull 10 months ago
@thrallskull You might have been innoculated for Malaria earlier when you were younger so your body has a immunity that is missing from African people who didn't get the innoculation. But if you have sickle cell you have the bad sideeffects as well as the benefit there's no getting around that (at least not for now anyway).
gamesmaster35 10 months ago
@gamesmaster35 its a fact white african are less likely to contract diseases here than white europeans,so that some have special powers with side effects and others don t! that argument is flawed ! A liberal would have you believe we all are equal bla bla bullshit ! but infact we as different races of the world are different species altogether and one does have traits that the other doesnt but this
thrallskull 10 months ago
@thrallskull I fail to see where you are going with this to be honest.Whites are not inherently better than blacks when it comes to Malaria get over yourself.Whites are more likely to be able to afford the innoculation to shield themselves and their offspring from getting Malaria in the first place though.A liberal would have you to believe that we are equal which we are.Just because you would roast in the sun compared to me doesn't make me better than you.Just different in that area.
gamesmaster35 10 months ago
@gamesmaster35 doesnt mean the other one has no immunity to something and is just guna die out = the human body has the ability to adapt and become immune to certain diseases, the strongest will survive, even a cold can kill someone if their body is to weak to handle it,want to blame somebody for diseases blame the ones ruling the world and making us all poorer and poorer , charging us for the very land we walk on ,who the fuck put them in charge !

Might actually make life a bit more bearable to some.
skytrooper1980 11 months ago
@skytrooper1980 There is harm in imaging bullshit and not accepting fact. It hinders ability to interact with the real world. People adjust their lives to beliefs. So if you believe in something w/o evidence and worse propagating that fallacy to others, you are doing something that impacts reality. We dont need an imaginary friend for meaning. We can give ourselves and others meaning. Which is why not having fake friend is more imperative.
mistereveready 11 months ago
@mistereveready Yes I agree with that, but there is a difference between accepting fact and being open to the the possibility of other ideas. My point is that none of the Big Questions have been answered yet, therefore there are all sorts of possibilities still open for debate. A lot lot of debate gets lots in the translation of words, but isn't Atheism a belief? An unchanging static, belief in nothing after death and no creator?
skytrooper1980 11 months ago
@skytrooper1980 Define big questions. Atheism = no belief in a god. There are people who dont' believe in a god but do an afterlife. First devise a coherent hypothesis of what are god(s). Then with evidence people would have valid reasons to believe it. If it is establish a fact that x creature with y attributes is labled god(s), then theories developed to understand that would emerge. Atm people are still at the imagination and arguments from ignorance phase.
mistereveready 11 months ago
Maybe I'm wrong, but the word "Atheism" seems like a pretty static thing. It's a belief. Agnosticism, on the other hand is like Atheism opened up to other possibilities. This where Science Fiction and Fantasy may enter the picture. The Realm of Possibilities. All Agnosticism is. is the open side of Atheism. Because Atheism is a belief in nothing but what we already know. In other words, Agnosticism is imagination. Atheism is a belief in the proven, and does not universally exist yet.
skytrooper1980 11 months ago
@skytrooper1980 agnosticism=someone who says they dont know, atheism=don't believe. A gnostic atheist would be the one with the belief that would require verification. that would be an assertion that the person KNOWS that there aren't any gods. Problem is the word god is so vague, it's tough to even have people put forth arguments for it. especially with so many moving goal post fallacies involved. atheism is not a belief, it's a lack of it.
mistereveready 11 months ago
@mistereveready (Continued) So could it be, that the element of Atheism is contained within Agnosticism? Because Agnostics don't really believe in anything either. The only difference is that agnostics are open to other possibilities. The concept gets mixed up with the word "belief," which I think is a terrible word to use, and should be put aside for religious extremists.
skytrooper1980 11 months ago
@skytrooper1980 you misunderstand. a person can be an agnostic theist, ie I believe, but I dont know. or an atheist. i disagree about religious extremist and the term believe. beliefs are what we accept is true, but not necessarily absolutely. not all agnostics are open to possibilities. one of the many definitions of agnostic is that the knowledge is inherently unknowable. think the biggest problem in situations like these is defining words and points then working from there.
mistereveready 11 months ago
@mistereveready I take that back. I think I'm confusing the word "belief" with "know." Nothing has been universally unarguably proven, yet he may have hope, faith, imagination, passion, and belief in whatever he wants. It's the right of man to choose to believe whatever he wants and I that goes for Atheists as well. Atheism is to Agnosticism what Radical anything is to any peaceful religion.
skytrooper1980 11 months ago
@skytrooper1980 We are limited to our own perceptions and biases. I think you mixed the part about atheism to agnosticism. Also radical doesnt necessarily mean not peaceful. Honestly it's tough to be radical with religion since fiction is so pliable. Worse, many sects are often actually acting in accordance to many of the books they adhere to. Agnosticism in the can never know sense is bullshit. To assert that something can't be known is to profess knowledge that it can't be.
mistereveready 11 months ago
Very interesting views on the DNA and its flaws in the system of DNA replication. I appreciate the time and efforts spent on the video that represent your ideas/theories, possibly going against a group of people in the world.
But I believe trying to disprove God exists in this way does not explain anything as God's actions, plans are 'acceptedly (from religious point of view)' unexplainable within our little knowledge. Furthermore, this would also imply we have no definition of good and evil.
kevinpark91 11 months ago
Also, if God did not exist, then what would be the point in existing at all? And I think your life would not last very long if it just formed on accident. Due to the complexity, I think life would be much more rare than it is, in both time span and frequency. But there are many life forms, and they live for a long time. They function quite nicely, and seem very intelligent. And since life designs life, that in itself is an intelligent design. Take for instance symbiosis.
skytrooper1980 11 months ago
I just love how Atheists always pick the easiest targets to argue against. A man in the sky throwing bolts, a devil running around, a three thousand year old book written by a hundred men along the way. And they say, do you see how ridiculous this is? Sure, there are glitches in the program, but man, show a little appreciation for Life.. Just because the universe is not perfect does not mean God doesn't exist. Your Atheism is just as bad as all the stupid b.s. religions.
skytrooper1980 11 months ago
ummm, well maybe God just designed the blueprint. Doesn't mean the machinery is going to function perfectly every single time. And if sickle cell anemia can combat malaria, well that seems pretty intelligent to me. And what about you? Are you intelligent, or do you think you're just a bunch of shit thrown together too?
