no noodling . the longer the solos then the better and people demanded it . I know I was there! This was the time of the guitar gods and this is typical of the time. As said all played on 2 fingers and the guy is still playing 40 years on!

Noodling? It was ok to stretch out a little in those days. And Iommi was pushing the envelope. Noodling is when you got no ideas and keep playing anyway. Sabbath was chock full of ideas.
