Well let's see here....I'm old and started playing when I was very young. So um, a long time! haha

I played by ear starting at around 5 years of age. Then around seven years old I taught myself how to read notes by sticking little taped pieces of paper down to the keys with the notes written on them. It looked funny but, it was successful. I love taking about 3 or 4 chords and working my own songs up out of my head...as I have done in this video. I love it when music flows from within...my fav!
