  • despite your knoledge and everything but don't females always get bigger

  • What is this white measuring thing inside with 2 LCDs? Does it measure humidity and temperature? Where did you get it?

    Cool cage setup!

    Regards,

    Tom

Really nice video, but u never took him out :)

I want to see how he looks...

    I've got female M.S. Harrisoni from 2008 :)

    Beautiful and amazing snakes

  • @BlackxSpirit

Well im not the biggest fan of handling them to much...only do it wenn its needed...so when i clean the cage, controll after shedding etc.

also its kinda hard to get him out of these cork-things...but at next feeding i will make a vid where you can see him

  • Mine never hides... She is always out, very curious...

When she comes out she sits on my neck for hours and doesnt want to come down...

She is fine with that :)

    Well, different snakes :)

  • incredible video i agree 100%

  • @Smernster

    Thanks

  • Awesome video bro! Love the new carpet python & u know where i stand about the rack system, i dont care if your breeding or not, they are killing the damn snakes! Theres NO justification for it! And more and more people are doing it these days! It breaks my heart everytime i see a vid of a breeder pulling a 15 footer out of a fucking draw! And then give a BS speach on how to care for and how they love their "collection" thats all it is, a fucking collection! You deserve a medal!

  • Hey Kevin, Youv'e done a fantastic job! The space you have got is well thought out & executed perfectly!! 5*****"s. I don't know anything about Ball Pythons, But if they live in termite mounds, How about replicating that into it's home? & still being able to enjoy watching the day to day things that Ball Pythons do.. Youve done such a good job & it would be a shame to ruin it with a tub rack ;) Tubs are for Crickets,Roaches & Meali worms & keeping your junk safe when moving house :)

  • @HunterReptileRooms

No how could i you missunderstood me...the rack will be under the normal cage with an decorative entry in form of a little rock or so, so the ball can choose between rack and tank

yup they spend 90% of their live in termit hills, those things have always a temp of aroun 30, 31 °C (also and night it stays warm atabout28°C) and a humidity of 70-80 and that all permanent...the rack is good way to simulate that...but as you now i never woukd keep them just in this tubs

  • Sorry matey, thought you mean't a rack! BLAH! Just a language barrier misunderstandment.. Don't worry your English is a hell of a lot better than my German :) Which consists of about 20 words.. I am guessing what you are making is, what i would sell as a retreat? Somewhere private that your Ball Python can get to...

  • @HunterReptileRooms

    haha =D

Yup thats how you could call it to...

  • 50000*s Great new addition and can't go wrong with any Carpet Python. Love your enclosures :O) Rack systems are excellent for small snakes and breeders but snakes don't get any exercise at all in a plastic tray. I would NEVER keep any snake in a drawer. Thank you for making this video. Snakes don't develop their muscles if they can't do anything except go in circles. BIG PROPS TO YOU!!!!

  • @1softkiss

thank you...really appreciate it...* lol* yea i know that i might would stir up a hornets nest

but the snakes cant speak for there selves and i think that those wonderful creatures dont deserve a life in this small plastic containers with no opportunity to behave like they would do in nature

    thx for your support

    Kevin

  • So Be It As It Will!!! Let the hornets fly the truth hurts for people to realize that not all of them are giving their snakes a decent quality of life living in minimal spaces and NEVER being outside those four walls. That's not living, that's existing. My snakes spend more time outdoors in warm weather than they do in the house and they are just so gentle and well behaved and always follow me around like I'm their mother. They are truly amazing with that bond.

  • Really nice setups and snakes, and I totally agree with you about keeping big and aboreal snakes in racksystems. That´s just wrong, in my opinion! I have seen many people keeping carpet pythons who like to climb in small tubs. That´s just bad...

    Nice vid:D

  • cool setup. i like it!!!!!

  • @straz0900

    thanks
