Restore Fairness: bring back due process to the immigration system

when one ssays everyone in America "under the constitution" is entitled to due process that can be misunderstood. IF a person is here illegally they are breaking the law and our govt has right and duty to detain them and deport them. NOt just the RIGHT?authority but the DUTY to. They are here illegally. ILLEGAL means breaking the law. PERIOD> If they risk their chances to stay and get citizneship some way the take their chances. THE ARE STILL HERE ILLEGALLY. still under consequences if caught

well, I am not a law student, but I thought due process originally came from natural law? Natural law is based on sense of right and wrong that exists within every person. Because they are illegal residents, is it right to treat them as animals in the detention center? As human beings, we have an ethical obligation to promote their human rights. remember the illegal residents are all human beings just like us.

My point is that just because one has rights to due process does NOT mean they cannot be deported or treated as being an illegal who is not a citizen. That person can recieve fairness but deported for being here illegally. If put in a detention center for non citizens and illegals awaiting deportation does NOT violate due process. (Continued)

That is NOT unfair. It is unfair to expect us to house feed pay for a person who broke a law to get here to begin with THEN deport them. We could choose to do that, but with so much expense already upon our economy, the common is to deport.

@SuperJin1004 Ok This may take a few comments but 1 Any person depsite illness IS accountable to crimes. The woman crying syaing depsite her illness she was detained. My point..IF a person commits a crime they are prosecutable despite any illness. People die in prison every day. There are diseased people who commit crimes or are accused of crimes awaiting evaluation of guilt or innocence. JUST because a person is sick does NOT exclude them from being detained. Playing the someone is being tretaed unfairly for being detained while sick is discriminating because they are illegal or a foreigner. IF a person's citizenship is based upon obeying laws or face deportation or prosecution, THAT is what it is. It complains because she was sick and should not have been detained. THAT is wrong to think that way. Prisoners go to hospitals and are still under detention. They are guarded while incarcerated. So any letter saying she shoudl not be detained is error. Hospitalize if needed whiel detained. As is for all

@SuperJin1004 4:50. The way to adress the issue is NOT MAKE UP SOME LAWS to make change. The laws to protect are ALREADY THERE. They want to use the housing conditions as a cataylst to create new laws. THAT is political manipulation. The fact is all one has to do is take it to federal court all way to SUP CT if needed, and sue for inhumane conditions under the 8th amendment. WHEN they rule on that, the court can order "change" the ctr conditions. Probably already have cases ruled on the issue.

FACT: prisons across America have abuse of power screaming and yelling etc..look on yt and see cops beating kids adults elderly, on the streets, in jails, it is in prsion but you do not see it as often because it is hidden unless makes the news, but look in cases, horror story after horror story. I've said this before on other posts, but ICE is pondscum on the foodchain of federal law enforcement agencies - absolutely the worst of the worst. Most other agencies do not enjoy working with them. The DHS should be renamed "Fatherland Security."
