You made very strong comments in this video that u probably don't even realise. It's easy to say stuff like that when u know it ain't affecting you.

  • what the fuck has this got to do with ken. just another attempt to get a few cheap ass views

  • @KensMachinima 1) The protests are meant to be peaceful but when u get a couple of idiots throwing things at police officers things are going to end badly 2) police officers are kekling ppl for no reason in some cases ( Look up Cveitch's videos) 3) you have made yourself one of the biggest hypocrites on YouTube

  • You're a real piece of shit, Ken. Do us all a favor and get cancer.

  • what a cunt, on one hand you say its good to protest and then u say if people dont want to be kettled dont be there in the first place. you sad old man...

  • you fucking bastard

  • The student protests are bullshit, a lot of them (and i say them im at uni atm) dont really know what theyre protesting about, they dont know the full facts and lets be honest it wont be ny different, it will put people off goin when they dont need to and will make the system more efficient. the idiot students are makin a bad name for the rest of them, they need to kno the gov't are takin the advice of an independent report nt doin it to spite them!

  • Education!

    Education!

    Education!

  • ken sorry but i've lost all respect and anything nice for you now for saying you want students getting hurt. Fuck the police !

  • @knockout9999 fuck you more like u tool.

  • @TheCbr18 Haha dont be a key board warrior and argue on youtube. Jogg on :)

  • @knockout9999 dude if i could know where all the imbasiles live i would tell them to their face, as it is your on YouTube so ill tell you on here. anyway your the one who just said fuck off without reason. such a child.

  • @TheCbr18 Yeh and if u said it to my face i'd break you're face.

Without reason? Theres a video above the comments... theres a reason.

  • @knockout9999 ohhh so fuck the police, sayin thats exactly what ken said he didnt like, that doesnt achieve anythin, ur actin like Ali G, all gangster but you would do it to an officer, you'd get battered. Nd now whos bei na keyboard warrior? u child idiot, your whats wrong with the idiot students, makin a rep for us respectable students.

  • @TheCbr18 I didnt say i hate the police because Ken likes them, i hate the police beccause of family past which is private. If a police oficer hurt me i'd hurt them etc, what ever would have to be done, "an eye for an eye" the way i live. Lastly yes im a childish idiot for posting my view and not starting a argument... respectable students? respectable students = snobby people that think that life is all about them twats!

  • i actually love these students for ahving the balls to do this stuff.

  • Watching the people get lairy It's not very pretty I tell thee Walking through town is quite scary It's not very sensible either A friend of a friend he got beaten He looked the wrong way at a policeman Would never of happened to Smeaton An old leodensian I predict a riot I predict a riot I predict a riot I predict a riot Politics you have to love it.
  • clegg has bent over for camaron. Blame any 1 you like ??? blame the fucking police and the ppl that done it

  • @MCTV96 they took the advice of an independent report u moron it wasnt camerons idea.

  • LOLZ AT PEOPLE PISSING THEMSELVES

  • con-dem ( were condemmed)

    conservation and liberal democats

  • um ken in the votes nick cleggs party actually got near the same as the conservatives or very high anyway, but their votes were literally all in one place so they got less areas and did badly but there votes were similar

  • i dnt think all blame should be put on clegg as he agreed to work with conservattives and he has to agrre with some of there desisions and sometimes he will get what he wants sometimes he wont i am a student and these changes will afect me im just saying my opinion

  • Ken personally I hope that retard of a prime minister david realises that it's gonna cost more to rebuild London than money gained from higher fee and I give a shit cos I'm going to be affected by these changes

  • @donkeybreathsuperkin are you for real? they arent gaining any money from higher fees. its not a tax u moron.

  • protesting is fine, the problems are when it starts to hurt innocents, then again sometimes you just have to bash a few people to get the point across, kinda sucks though, don't hit the innocents, hit the poloticians

  • Im a UK student, and i bloody agree with you. They have turned the focus from their message to a focus on violent protest.

  • it was a black op Ken

  • fuck david cameron the silly toff boy,, maggie thatcher incarnate, just wants to keep the rich rich and the working class poor. i come from a family were my mothers side is upper middle class and my fathers typical northern working class but as a student its ridculous, why would i wanna rack up debts of 10's of thousands of pounds to go to uni he is spiteful and is obviously at some point gunna be another sorta uproar.... everyoen has the right to education no matter of financial background

  • Ken, don't be ignorant and believe everything you see in the British Media.

As someone who was actually there, it makes me really angry that something that was such a great achievement, getting 52,000 people to march under a common cause, is portrayed in such a negative light because a tiny (less than 1%) minority get violent.

Those people don't respresent us, at all. But according to the UK Media we're a violent, good-for-nothing bunch of yobs; lazy stereotyping, as usual.

  • Ken, your doing exactly what the media of our country do. You are only pushing the bad cases and the very worst incidences. This is not how the majority of students react and it is deffinately not supported by the majority of the students in britain. We dislike what is going on but we dont agree with this. Why are you joining the media in accentuating these incidents even more. All you are doing is exacerbating the situation and making those who choose to protest violently pushed into the...

  • I don't think I've ever listened to anyone so dumb. I came here from twitter, and am certainly never coming back. No need for violence? Of course there is! Sometimes. this might not be that time, but to make such a blanket statement makes you a retard fella.

I can't believe you though your thoughts were that interesting that you posted them on here.

I hope for your son's sake he can afford a better education than your leadership can provide.

  • Why were there 14 year olds there? You said it yourself: they're the ones to be hit by the fee hikes & they wanted to make their voices heard. I marched in Manchester, and it all turned out pretty peacefully. It's frustrating that all the attention's on London where some idiots decided to use the marches as an excuse to wreak havoc. Most of us aren't mindless. We’re letting the government know that these cuts aren’t passing unnoticed, because no-one else is speaking up against them.

  • violence wont get the message across? well it obviously has because your talking about it, whole uk is talking about it and many other countries. Ok attacking police is not acceptable but trash the fuck out Tory headquarters and fuck nick clegg.

  • @JonFifa09 fucking Nick Clegg seems harsh

  • what do you expect people to do sit down infront of the houses of parliament and sing Kumbeya

  • ...... one of my mates was even underneath the guy who threw the fire extinguisher off the roof, and if you saw the footage from the ground, you'd see they were actually chanting "STOP THROWING SHIT! STOP THROWING SHIT!" Constantly. I'm just saying it's not students as such that should be blamed because it was only a minority causing the damage.....but NO! we all have to get blamed! it sucks!!! BTW I'm a 3rd Year University Student studying Media Production.

  • there were only a very few number of people compared to the amount that were there, that started kicking off, and most of them were actually people who werent even students, they just came as chavy twats who wanted to cause fights. The fact... that the media keep saying a huge amount of people were causing the riots is total BS.....

  • Riots and Protests are lame. Civil War is where the business at. I am student myself, a foreigner and I think the education system(except for Uni) here is lame. I wish i could go back to my country but my balls are tied with my parents . Like EMA for example, its a dumb idea you pay kids to study WTF? When the fact is that some of them just come in, sign the attendance then fuckoff.

  • Ken. I thought you had some kind of common sense. Act your age and don't look at a few people as a way to see a whole generation of people. I don't look at you and think every 40 year old, or however you are, like to play video games.

I didn't protest anyway. I know people are idiots and can ruin it for everyone so what is the point? It wont work.

  • Ken, Ken, Ken, that was nothing. In France they had to use Flash Bangs, Stuns and arrest hundreds of people. People protested just because they had to work up to 62 years.

  • Ah Mr Clegg may be a tea boy- but if Cameron got killed - clegg will be in charge with his finger on the button

  • I would like to say it was only half a dozen, or a dozen cases where some real anarchists, from riots before who wanted to stir up trouble, I wasn't in London myself but i have seen less than a dozen different incidents that happened in London. Seriously although i do believe that the violence is a very bad thing for the portrayal of students in the UK. Look at the mayday riots in 2000 and the riots around the G20 summit recently, they definitely weren't peaceful, so stop have such a big go at

  • @arrestedpie students, as it's not like you 'adults' can conduct a totally peaceful protest.

  • Did the government listen to the millions of people who marched peacefully in 2003 against the war in Iraq. NO they didn't.

  • I'm for the protest not the violence, I'm going uni in a few years so this will affect me

  • It was the London protest that was a problem, there was a protest in Brighton which was much more organised, calm and peaceful and only about three troublemakers were caught before they did anything. There is always going to be idiots, but its a SMALL minority who are doing it Ken, of course there is going to be trouble because there are thousands of protesters out there, most wanting to save their future.

  • Fuckin sweaty students i hate the cunts, they all think they're "IT" or they have it all...

  • @ST3VE1989 ignorant, uneducated asshole.

  • I was in the original protest march on the 10th of november, i was part of the peaceful protest not the violence................i was tempted (as the day after the release of Black Ops) to have a big sign saying 'Is this the cue for Black Ops'. I didnt but wouldnt that have been a laugh. The violent protesters ruined it for us, the ones who make decisions by peace, not war.

  • ahh ken burton here, turning a peaceful protest that - because of a few - turned violent into a video about immigration, nice.

  • Ken your making our country look really bad, wtf are you doing? the violence hasnt affected me to anyone i know these are isolated incodents that were quickly dealt with, these people were just out to make trouble and didnt really care about tuition fees, the people that really care were peacefull. and ken, don't preach to the people that are doing this as the people that break police vans dont watch your vids. So people, please come to england, its nice here in Kent at least :)

  • I'm Having second thoughts about visiting my uncle in january

  • your 14 year old son has about 4 years to go rather than two.. since when does someone go to univeristy at 16 haha.

  • Ken, i agree with most everything you say, but you sort of contradicted yourself when you talked about those 14 year olds. Protests are fine, people in govenment need to hear the people's voice, but when protests turn violent (aka riots) thats when its not fine. governement may (not) listen to peace but they will listen to violence with the wrong ear. i say if you cant protest peacefully, dont protest at all.

  • MOST Politicians are pricks.

  • You tell em Ken!

  • These people are just a disgrace to our country. They don't even have the balls to show their faces. Half of them aren't even students they just idiots looking to cause trouble because they are to stupid to get into university. Violent protests just make the majority of the public (the students holding the minority) angry and leave them not wanting to help the students. They are just digging themselves a deeper whole.

  • the problem is that camron and his rent boy are one of the same they are both rich and have never had to work in there lives voilence is currently the only way to make hime back down.as more and more people wake up to the damage that thos goverment is causeing the protest will become larger and larger untill this goverment kicked out volence is part one what untill part to it will blow your mind and this will be nothing

  • I don't understand Our country, We Complain when We realise we are in billions of pounds of debt but when the Goverment tries to Fix it.. we complain evan more.. Fact is is think the british just LOVE to Complain :/

Also the Word "Student Protest" to me just comes out as "Spoilt Brat".

  • lads...

  • Ken you need to understand something about protesting and the media. If there is one individual or group that does not like what the protests are about, they need only introduce a little anarchy to de-legitimize a protest. The police did it with the G8 in Seattle.

Now this wouldn't be a problem if people didn't fall for it and were able to distinguish between the point of a protest and the people who participate in nothing but hooliganism.

Learn to distinguish the diff Ken.

  • the students are fucking idiots kids who dont even know what theyre doing. straight up on bbc breakfast "we're protesting because i cant go to uni as my parents cant get the money together". you still get a fucking grant you stupid middle-class liberal left wing deluded motherfuckers

  • i agree there is no need for violence, but the goverment arnt listening, take the money away from somthing less important. Education will get us out this shit. But this is the only way it is gonna happen, CARRY ON DOING PEOPLE TO THEY REALISE THEY CANT CHARGE US FOR WANTING TO GET A BETTER LIFE. TAKE THE MONEY OFF THE MPS WHO SPEND THERE TIME SITTING ON THEIR FAT ARSES.. THEY DONT NEED SECONDS HOUSES OR SHIT LIKE THAT GIVE IT TOO THE COUNTRY NOT THESE PRICKS.

  • I didn't know about the protests until I saw this video.

  • "No need for the violence" yet you say, "The only thing I wanted to see was water cannons, tear gas and fucking rubber bullets to keep you fuckers under control".

Ken, I'm sorry but you're going no where with this video. You know how us students feel because when you were 16 or whatever, you dropped out of college, etc. Just get a grip man, ignore this and leave it to Parliament.

  • Agreed. The idiots who get caught on camera doing this crap are giving the rest of us students a bad name. Yeah we all hate the whole thing with fees but acting like cavemen and going around smashing stuff up isn't helping anyone

  • The protest was hijacked by anarchists who wanted to cause trouble. The students had nothing to do with the violence.

  • To be perfectly honest, from what I've heard the government is changing it so you need to earn £21,000 before you have to pay it back and when you do it's even less per week than it is now. After 30 years, if it hasnt been paid back the debt get dropped. One thing I don't get is how it would matter if you're poor ? Unless £21,000 a year = poor.

I think the protests are silly, tbh, I think young people these days need to learn that money doesn't grow on trees. I am applying for uni next year.

  • well said dude iam a student but at least i didnt got to the protests in manchester thank god it was crazy who ever came up with the protest was an idiot and caused all that crazy

  • It's pointless.. nothing will get done from this!!

  • @georgecfc590 it already has.....

  • Because we have the right of freedom of speech. Probably 5% of the people there were there just to cause trouble. But mostly people were there because they wanted to protest about the government raising student fees and cuting student benefits.

you know, the government didnt cut international aid in the cuts... (which means we still give billions of pounds to poor foreign countries, but the money goes straight to the leaders and they keep it for themselves.)

But they cut BRITISH student's money!

  • ha ha i was there fuck you ken for agreeing with the posh twats the government and your just as bad for what you said about the water cannons and the tear gas

    FUCKING PRICK

  • @pressXforBJ so if you were there- why did the pricks smash up the police van then?

  • We are hearing about this in Canada and like most protests the actual people that are protesting are probably doing it peacefully but it's the assholes/ criminals that take advantage and start to cause damage, destruction and theft. Probably like the G20 protest that happened here a little while ago.

  • ha ha i was there

  • the guy with the Afro and the guy in the gray jacket on the left at 2:30 goes my school

  • I don't agree with how they behaved. But don't you think that people's voice's are being silenced. With that isn't education one of the most important things a government should focus on...And you mention dignity--that's something that being striped from citizens from around the world--sooner or later something's gonna give Ken.

  • Great video. Feel the same way. I don't see how rioting helps solve problems.

  • @iH4x

fuck you racist prick suck my big dick !

  • Comment removed

  • 100% agreed Ken! They are just showing how ridiculous they are

  • 303rd!!!

  • See below

  • I don't get it, one minute your saying its good to protest, next your telling us not to be there or we'll get kettled :S I know it's a complex issue but give the students some credit, we didn't all throw fire extinguishers, 90% of what has happened is peaceful, but ofcourse the media won't pick up on this and theres no 'story' there... it's the police cars getting destroyed they follow... and I reckon the people who destroyed the car probably weren't even students anyway!

  • @Minimikeish you idiot he never said dont go to the protetest he meant dont go to the areas of the protest where the mayhem is hapening and therfore you wont get kettled, and it is a stupid thing for you to assume that he actually thinks every student was being a vandal and a tit because im sure he knows thats not the case, also you are so up your self for thinkin that ken doesnt kno how the media works he fuckin work in IT and deals with the media right fuckin now you arse, get your shit strait

  • @saosin1991 1. I know Ken knows these things (and why so many swear words btw? lol), I'm not attacking Ken with these comments and I know he works in the media. I don't understand why he would pay so much attention to only the vandals if he realises this was only a small percentage of them. If you think I'm up my own arse and needs to get my 'shit strait' then that's your own problem!

  • @Minimikeish hes focusing on the those pricks because like you say theyre the ones the media show and therefore they destroy the image of all the students at that protest thats why ken is havin such a big go at them

  • @Minimikeish Get ready to have your commented removed, as Ken always does

  • @Minimikeish So I suppose your problem is with the media then? Ken is just calling it like he sees it. Granted he is a media source and isn't providing a positive image the so called peaceful protesters need but he is providing some insight and also an opinion. If you don't like the changes the government has made then move somewhere else! Don't bitch and complain in some street or square until you get what you want! Take a look at American University tuition costs and then keep complaining.....

  • @CSBSJoryJoy My point is that for more media outlets the only 'insight' and opinion they will show are hugely negative ones. Anyway I don't know if you are living in the same world as I am if you can afford just simply move to another country if your government tries to screw you over. Fair enough American tuition fees are higher but that has nothing to do with me so I will keep complaining.

  • @Minimikeish He was saying he encouraged protesting overall, but not when it's done like this. You got it?

I agree with the other half of your comment though, media fucks shit up.

    Regards from Sweden

  • @Oshowah Yeah I got ya :)

  • @Minimikeish I totally agree with you mate, it sucks that everyone follows the news as if it's god's words, now I study Media so I know the ins and outs of media manipulation, and its full of a lot of corruption, a lot of people turned up who wernt students, who just came to kick off!

  • @Chrom3maGik Definately mate, I'm studying Media myself and it's ridiculous what you actually find out!

  • @Minimikeish you ...

He is saying non-violent protesting is fine and you dont get punished for that! So then there is no problem being there. He didnt contradict himself in anyway. just saying.

  • its bullshit just smash the shit out of them... OH WAIT THERE UNDER 18 AND IF YOU TOUCH THEM IT WILL BE CHILD ABUSE WELL FUCKING DONE GOVERNMENT YOUR REALLY ARE A BUNCH ...

  • yeeee u might think that from your point of view. its alright for you seen as you have your amazing job. for us it will be fuking working in mcdonalds all our life LOL

  • What fags haha

  • I'M 16 AND LIVE IN THE UK AND I SUPPORTED THIS WITH ALL MY MIGHT

  • Oh how i love my country.

  • Nick Clegg is a Pleb :)

  • "Peaceful protests get you nowhere" <- complete bullshit.

Change is more likely to happen (maybe slowly) when it's peaceful. Violent protests will get you nowhere unless the person in control is a coward. And if he is, he shouldn't be in control.

  • I like you ken but you're wrong. People did vote for the third part, 23% of voters did, the 2nd and 1st placed parties got 29% and 34%. Students outside the UK pay the fall course of their courses, they aren't subsidised by the UK taxpayer. Why shouldn't 14 year olds protest? A minority of people caused trouble not the majority.

  • I support the protest. I was there (Oxford). Ken you need to get your facts right. yes there was violence in some parts, but there not all students, some are just dicks. Oh and your son is gonna be in about £36000 of debt. tell him to have fun paying that back KEN. It doesn't affect me, I'm going to UNI next year, but i believe that i also have the duty to stick up for people like your son. You need to stop reading the SUN or the Mail or where ever you get your shit from.

  • @MrChrisChesh Agreed completely

  • No violence - Page 22

    Violence - Page 1

The government are a bunch of murdering scum bags who indoctrinate and dictate your status in life. Fuck the government and Fuck the police.

Unfortunately, people in this country can't be bothered to research into their own government and see what scum bags they really are.

For example, terrorism is an illusion. Fear = keeps you under control. Terroism = creates jobs.

Sorry but this is the 'NEW WORLD ORDER'. Look it up and see for yourself.

  • they say protesting peacefully doesnt get anywhere?LOOK AT THE FUCKING US CIVIL RIGHTS CAMPAIGN that proved that peaceful protests do get the job done, if im only 14 and i can realise this why cant the college students? that shows how stupid people can be when they get something in their head -_-

  • I 100% support the protests, our government is in a right state. I don't completely agree with the violence either. I'm lucky that i got my degree before all this shit kicked off.

  • i swear that almost every protest there is today is just to cause a riot

  • And the police are doing...? This is a riot, not a protest.

  • Personally I support the protest. But getting involved in violence in stupid. I personally don't count rioters as valid protesters since they don't understand what the protest is about and instead use it as an excuse to get themselves publicity and have an excuse to their violence. There were plenty of peaceful protesters at the student fees protest both yesterday and two weeks ago. But once again violence gets all the media coverage.

  • Ken ur 100% right on that. No violence is needed

  • ken is a legend <3

  • here in canada /montreal we us the "college " students are protesting for new high raise of cost

  • I love the smell of a riot in the morning, it smells like violence.

Seriously tho, acting like that achieves NOTHING, in fact, it probably proves the government that they are right.

  • KEN you should try living in northern ireland

  • well, i have to say i dissagree with the general opinion in here that violence is needed, when protesters turn violent like this, in my opinion, they loose any respect that they had, therefore there opinions dont matter, but to be fair it was probably just a minority that ruined the protest for everyone else, but with a protest of this size, theres always going to be idiots that are just there to cause trouble and riot.

  • @emaxwell458 Good point mate. Remember the miners strike Ken. You sound like your from somewhere near Nottingham. The memories of how the Met Police treated the miners run deep in that area. I wouldn't want to be in your shoes down the shops on a staurday afternoon son

  • Why the violence?! Don't attack the cops.. protest against the faggot government who can't do shit right! And I'm an American and you want to know why i care? Because i have cousins upon cousins in England and i will not have their education ruined!

  • @TheDoomThrasher They are protesting against the government. They were trying to get to the lib dem headquarters

  • @hitmau5 No Violence is needed though...

  • ken the pics that you showed and the first things you said about them like the van

" oh shit look at that the said it was like a carnival" dude i take this sirously but i thought the way you discribe the pics were hilarious

    aparently they havent herd K.E.N.

    Keep Everything Nice

  • Ken, think about when you grew up in the 70's and 80's... the Tottenham riots. People smashed up most of London. Fire bombs were hurled at Police, and shit went down. And you know what? Stuff changed. Slowly but surely, the changes people wanted came about.

Basically, sometimes you have to make a scene to get publicity.

  • Most peacefull protests does mostly go wrong. They get ignored and dont give a damn. Government does what they want and you need a great man to change it.

If you bring voilence in the picture, well. Sun Tsu said "To gain peace you need to wage war." To gain views, they use voilence. It worked, your watching. Point gained. Negative? What you said. Injuries, stately fees. They also gain something, so either way.

Government fucks you around. The outcome is not usually different.

  • Oh Ken stop being over dramatic. It's a small small minority doing this stuff. Ruin london? A police van and two windows isn't the whole of London Ken. Riot? Don't make me laugh Ken.

Look at what happens in Paris then if things get to that level then you can claim that they're trying to ruin a city.

Violent Protests do work. Nelson Mandela himself was reduced to violent methods in order to break aparthide.

  • Comment removed

  • Ken there have been huge protests up and down the country and will be throughout the winter, and will the government listen? will they fuck. Thats why i believe its neccessary for the odd police van to get overturned or the odd bus stop to get burned.

Plus it seems your putting all the students who are protesting in the same boat. the majority there are against violence.

  • whereever a protest is, there are idiots that want trouble with the police. not just in the uk, allover the world. and as it was lately in germany even if the protest was peacefull, the police was brutal, they r just so used to having fights against brutal protesters.

  • if people dont get hurt, if shit dont get broke, nobody listens!

has to be done to get the message across

  • @JonsMaName THUMBS UP!

  • @JonsMaName That may be the dumbest post I have ever read.

  • its VLOG not V-LOG!!!

  • Good one Cameron and Clegg, I can no longer attend uni as I'm not going to put myself in over 50 grands worth of debt. Labour ftw.

  • I agree with you Ken.

  • seriously misunderstood ken

  • To be honest, it's a very warranted protest. its all well and good for the baby boomers in parliament who got their education very cheap or for free to put a higher price on education to try and refill the country's coffers because of the greediness and blatant mistakes they themselves made. Rather than make education unaffordable for the masses, the government and big business should be made accountable by taxing those fuckers to an inch of their dirty, sewer dwelling lives.

  • i got something to you Ken, if you dont mess up shit, vandalize police cars and stuff. The people doesnt get heard

  • Protests ran in to my school and rang the fire alarm and try to make student walk out with them

  • They should have a Call of Duty Protest

  • The violence is bad of course, but I know for a FACT that the police have in the past incited the violence themselves by having plain clothes officers mixed in to the crowds and starting the mayhem. It happened in the poll tax riots .

I don't know about these latest violent scenes, but I would bet on it being true this time too. It's a standard tactic to give the majority or peaceful protests bad media coverage.

  • I'm 18 and live in South London and i'm planning to start university next summer or the following. However, with the fees due to rise to 49,000 pounds for my three year stay i can't see how i'm going to do it. But yes, violence will solve nothing. At the end of the day, protesting will do nothing. The government don't give a second look to a small majority of the public's opinion. So violence or not, these should stop. It's giving us young adults an even worse name!

  • Are you from London Ken?

  • @bffalcon No hes from china

  • @hellorememberme Aren't you funny.

  • yes ken what a great idea 100's of thousands of cort cases because the police shot people. Yeah maybe tipping a van intro a wall isnt the greatest way but do u realise how bad it would turn if they started useing tear gas. The whole country would be out in arms. It its not are fault there are fucking 17 year old chav's who don't even want to go to uni starting fires and acting like dicks. there is nothing we can do about that apart form not protest which tbh would'nt change jack

  • I agree that what some of the people we doing was wrong but you can't accuse every single student of being violent. thounsands of these students went for a peaceful protest but some got a bit out of countrol, but these were very few people. And surly it means something that we want to secure our right to learn? I'm a 17 year old student and I am fed up of people judging us al as being violent antisocial thugs because ofthe actions of a few people

  • I have to question why the police van was abandoned right in the middle of the road where they knew the protestors were going to be 'kettled'. Pigs left it there on purpose because they know every protest like this is derailed by cunts who just want to cause violence and burn things. One broken van later, and all the headlines are about the violent student protest.

  • Ken you really misunderstand the issue

  • a bunch of my mates went but they didnt do no violence but the guys who do it are just dumb pricks

  • Comment removed

  • Violence grabs attention. It easy to criticise students about protesting about their education, but when you've already gone through your education and already have a job you're opinion is biased. Without the protest, the government assumes everyones ok with price rises. Protesting is an attempt to influence change in policy and keep fees minimal.

  • Just kinda sad, when i think about it, that us British are soo ignorant that we resort to violence... meh

  • Youtube Millbank Wankers. Good song by Dan Bull who did Generation Gaming Rap on Machinima. All it is are students wishing they were in the 70's when there was something more serious to protest about. What's worse for students is stupid people on the TV saying that you will have to learn for a job rather than learn for enjoyment from now on because you have to pay so much back. FFS!!!! the government shouldn't subsidise people going to uni for fun at all anyway (I am a student btw)

  • Very good points Ken... I've lived in the UK for 11 years and I still have my Southern California accent.

  • That's the scummy British for ya' and I'm British.

  • was in Leeds yesturday I was stuck init
