I know this band are Christians and they want us to believe in god. But when I hear their music I can't find anything about them talking about God and Jesus and stuff? Why? Because I don't believe in that.

What I see in this band is that they want us to believe in something. In whatever you like to believe in.

I hate how good music is laid with messages of constant sex and violence and other similar content. Disturbed makes some of the most intense, driven and complex music of any band out there these days. The music is AMAZING. However, they sing songs about giving your soul to the devil and killing yourself just to be with your love even though she's rotting in hell.

Personally, I think that theatrical stuff has been done to death by bands like Kiss. the best concerts I've ever been to were at small clubs where the front row people are right up against the 3-foot tall stage and getting drenched by the singer's sweat. so much more fun than guardrails and seats.

@pillarsofserpents The best concerts I've ever been too was all GA standing room only, an arena has nothing on a little bar of a capacity of 500 getting into the music. Good music will sell it's self, and doesn't need gimmicks such as pyrotechnics. all they do is drive up ticket prices to stupid levels (50+ for a concert ticket? no thanks, especially when most shows are an hour to an hour and a half.) Best shows I've ever been to was Hank3 in small bars and rocked out for 3 hours.
