lol. Are you playing the diddles with your feet? xD. I cant do that. Btw, i dont if its you or the drum (but i think it's the drum since you did it in slow tempo and it sounded good) but the diddles sound a little bad. Like i said, i think it's the drum. Good job anyways. :D
@ericnrivers Hi there, I am playing straight triplets with my feet, and it is the crappy speaker on my camera that was being distorted when playing the snare. That snare is a signature Dennis Chambers that is awesome with no muffling at all. I put stuff on it thinking that would help the camera sound, but it didn't! HA
@dtdrummerlady lol. That is one bad camera than. If possible, could you try plying eight notes with your feet? :D. It will make much more of a challenge. Plus, your feet only need to mark time.
@backbeatbobby What is greuisagasestiunnume trying to say anyway?!!!! How are my triplets terrible? I admit that the audio on this video is terrible because of my camera, but the triplets are just unaccented and then adding diddles to them as an exercise!! WTH
@dtdrummerlady haha i actually thought this was a great exerise, just ignore the pointless derogatory comment by the winer below, keep doin your thing))
its good exercise but you apply it to the kit?ors it more drum line type practice stuff? n why you think theres not so many girl/women drummers?i mean i see em now n then but not to many. anyway cheers
man thats is great, but dont you think that there is too much dampers on snare.i mean, you can have stagg snare, put all kinds of moongel, studio rings, duct tapes... and it will sound same?(of course, with good tuning)
I know LOL! but some people can't keep time with their feet and hands playing independent of each other, so I thought it was a good way to play triplets with the feet and add doubles to the hands. Oh well! HA
Actually the snare sounds great, I was trying to muffle it for my speaker on my little camera, but it still sounded distorted! LOL It is a Dennis Chambers snare and I don't use any muffling when playing gigs, so it is an awesome snare.
well for your sound you could have just turned off your cameras volume and used your drum mics and to talk just edit the video with a miccrophone and say what you wanted
Simple idea, very effective. Check out some of my doublebass work! Nice Job!

My camera has audio distortion really bad, so that is why I tried toning down my snare. I don't use any muffling otherwise.

Thanks! The snare is awesome, but too loud in this video. I wanted the camera close but I wish I could control the volume when recording.

no your sound is great since you are not a professional drummer with all these big studios and special effects :P
