the GPU is cooler with the XCM twin core fans ,even with the top closed its still amazing cool thnx to those little bastards.

testings were with XCM rear turbo fan and bigger heatsinks on 1080p. ON IDLE: GPU without core fans = 47c (top of case off) CPU without core fans = 34c (top of case off) GPU with core fans = 39c (top of case off) CPU with core fans = 33c (top of case off) GPU with core fans = 43c (closed case) CPU with core fans = 40c (closed case) INGAME: GPU with core fans =49c (closed case) CPU with core fans = 43c (closed case) the DVD player out will heat the GPU up by 4 degrees celcius.

i would consider investing in new heatsinks. if you buy the new gpu and cpu xbox heatsinks, ur xbox will be 10 times better temp. wise.

but not really without the core fans of XCM.

ive tested the temps in different ways ,

the temps in my case only went down a few degrees ,

untill i bought the XCM twin core fans in combination with the xcm turbo fan and bigger heat sinks .

i also go the chameleon case with the x on top. that helps a little too the let the hot air out on top and cool air in.

@lexlarson ps3 does not have 8 processors dumbass, it has one 3.2GHz core that sends the workload to 7 SPE's The 360 has 3x 3.2 GHz cores which is raw computing power lol even though the ps3 has a better cell processor at least i know it dosent have 8 of them, I still choose 360 over ps3 any day

i got this kool thing on my xbox i bought a thermaltake CPU cooler on xoxide its huge and i bought it black but i wouldnt git my case so i cut the side with a window and i added like a little clear box where the thermaltake cooler sticks out
