  • Ripper - well done

  • i hope its sitting in your living room framed in all its glory :)

  • Why is everyone saying catch and release? The Marlin would have been beat after that fight anyways, so whats the point. And what would you know, you haven't caught anything like that before so you don't what it feels like.

  • im going javis bay for fishing and staying there for 10 days im gonna do spearfishing and fishing as well :D cant wait

  • nice one mate, how can release a fish of a life time of that shear size, you guys are all idiots

  • The sheer magnitude of this video is utterly spoiled by the fact that you dont practice catch and release........SAD TO SAY THE LEAST!!

  • hallo, i would

fishing marlin on the rocks. It' s possibile at jervis bay??

    Thank you very very much.

  • Nice fish boys

  • bloody bogans no respect.

  • @notmanyifany12345

    8===D head

  • Ever heard of releasing a species that is on rapid decline an may not be around for your childrens children to see.

  • @stephenrward why should he release when boats full off them going on your plate? stop commercial fishing on marlin then you have the right to complain.

    nice catch

  • @stephenrward hey dickhead stop commercial fishing first greeny fuck

  • @stephenrward The Marine Parks Authority continuously undergo research and tracking of all fish species and numbers. They determine bag limits and legal sizes based on their findings (and other habits of the fish such as breeding) . If a fish was under threat of extinction (as you imply) then the MPA would ban catching of those fish. This is already the case with some fish. Bluefish used to be fishable and now they aren't. Groper are only able to be taken by line fishermen.

  • @kitehobbsy I doubt they have the funding to track all fish species and numbers somehow and a fish being under threat has rarely led to a total ban on fishing for it. to much politics for that. however it is right when they say that commercial fishing takes a lot more of these than rec fishing. it can hardly be expect to ask someone to throw back a fish of a life time when there is longliners dragging in hundreds of them for cash.

  • sdthird10... they oviously used a live bait like kahawai, nullet, piper, yellowtail,a range of tuna spices or mackerel =p

  • @redstagwith243 most likely slimey mackeral

  • how did you cast that far away

  • @sdthird10 the live bait swims itself out that far :/ silly question really

  • id be that fuckin excited too....... cunts

  • by the looks of it you didnt bleed it

  • @sheepshitonastick you dont have to bleed marlin... only reason they bleed tuna is because they have a strong blood line which runs under the pectoral fins :)
