  • Like the last seen from twister °_°

  • Holy shit

  • Thats one impressive tornado It can survive IN PLAIN DAYLIGHT!

  • The black ones are the scariest.

  • watch out, we got a badass over here...

  • nope

  • Thats like a f50 xDD

  • i think its dirty because it has ethier objects that are brown or it has dirt

  • what year and what part of kansas thats one crazy tornado

  • wtf O_O

  • Nasty looking tornado!

  • @smellycatpoop not on the southern hemisphere. corialis effect, i believe.

  • WTF?!

  • am i the only one here who wants to walk in that thing?

  • @ratcristi Hell yeah !!

  • alright, this tornado is an interesting one, I believe the reason why it was so black was because of the field it was rotating through. It picked up the dirt which Kansas is famous for dark dirt and that's what caused the tornado to be so black.

  • so this is what a Kansas tornado looks like. Since I watched Wizard of Oz, I thought they were all thin as an F1 and looked like a cardboard cut out half the time

  • Wow, so beautiful. I want to make love to it.

  • shitty turdnado it's a illusion

  • ok 1) y is the tornado SO brown i know its from sand and dust but come on? THIS brown? and 2) y is the sky so bright and y's the sun out and no rain?

  • @WinkyBunny1248 It's brown because of all the dirt, and the sun is out because it doesn't always rain when there's tornadoes.

  • @WinkyBunny1248 Please refer to the comment below yours. I believe it has the answer to your last question, which you somehow overlooked.

  • mmmmm yummy tonado

  • thats an F-4 correct

  • @2008FORDF450V8 It's a common misconception to believe wind speed is what makes it on the Fujita Scale or the "Enhanced" bullshit they are pushing down our throats now. That is considered an F1 from what we can see simply because it hasn't caused any damage. It's damage that causes a tornado to get classified.

  • @GDF333 i wonder if you survive been sukced inside would u

  • @2008FORDF450V8 Some people have, some people haven't. It's not uncommon to land almost half a mile to 2 miles from where you were picked up. From how the dirt looks not getting unsettled too much... you'd most likely get peppered in the face hardcore w/ dirt and rocks. :^\ That would suck.

  • @GDF333

That's totally fake, tornados spin counter-clockwise.

  • @smellycatpoop This is true, depends on the hemisphere though, this is dust devil in my eyes. And people have a tendency to flip the image of videos which it allows them to call the work their own. That's why if you go to watch an episode of Family Guy, for example, you'll most likely see at the bottom of the screen and see that FOX looks like XOF.

  • @smellycatpoop But in this case, it is spinning counter-clockwise.

  • @GDF333 um, it is wind speed that determines the tornado's rating. there have been tornadoes that did no damage to any structures and have been rated EF-4 based on tree damage alone.

  • thats a chocolate tornado xDDD

  • God took a shit

  • i lived where the tornado was when i was 7 it was in a field by my house it was in belle plaine kansas. it pulled down the back fence and a telephone pole was hit by a neighbor's shed roof which caused the fence to fall.

  • hehe... Even that I am Brazilian and doesn't know too much things of USA, I know that Kansas may be one of the USA federal units where Tornado Alley is located.

  • If I was that crazy enough to be that close to a tornado. I think I would talk out my sniper rifle and have myself some tornado target practice

  • jesus crist that´s a big one.

  • maybe its just a really epic dust devil...

  • Doesn,t look like real tornado... I mean look at the sky shouldn,t it be much darker and stormier ?

  • @64Albere Most of the Tornadoes are formed on the south west side of the Thunderstorm as the storm is moving away or dissipating. It's not unusual to see the sun shining with blue sky's. Pretty cool stuff though.

  • @64Albere You didn't notice the black cloud above the tornado before the camera was zoomed in on it. Tornadoes happen very often at the edge of thunderstorms, reason you can see sunlight or blue skies if the camera angle is right. I have videoed several tornadoes right on the edge of supercell storms. Most of the time you will see a yellow or orange sky where the sun is peering through, but the LP storms like this one will let you see blue skies behind the tornado if the angle is right

  • Woah thumbs up, its black

  • what is 0.13 seconds

  • eww its dirty...

  • Looks like the last tornado in the movie twister

  • this is what chuck Norris does with his blender

  • That's the Great Bend Kansas tornado, was a weaker scale F4 class.

  • imazing

  • turdnado...

  • filmed with a potato

  • from the move "twister"

  • i gotta use the bathroom now

  • Theres illuminati subliminal images at the end

  • it looks like shit going down the fucking toilet

  • @minecraftmaster927 ha ha, thats what it reminds me of. ha

  • EF2 believe it or not.

  • it looks like a giant dust devil

  • @TWCjon massive smokenado

  • @stupidkid258, hey, don't be immature, now you sound like a 5 year old.

  • How dangerous is a tornado when it's sunny like that? Probably not too dangerous...

  • @gamefreak1000000 It's just as dangerous as any other tornado. You're seeing all that sun because the cloud bases are a littler higher than they usually are with supercell tornado environments.

  • @gamefreak1000000 "Oh man that tornado may be a quarter mile wide and really huge but ehh it won't scoop me up n toss me a few hundred yards where I smash into the ground n' die instantly. Nooo it wouldn't do that just because it's sunny. Sunshine makes everything safe." -_-

  • woah black betty

  • Eww.... That's fucken gross. xD

  • that is so cool but i hope know one died

  • Doesn't even look like there is a storm associated with it. How did it get the energy to form?

  • looks like a tornado in daylight

  • holy shit...

  • Looks like somebody made Gumby God, then gave him diarhoea.

  • looks like someone took a shit and made playdoh wit it.....THEN put it in a blender

  • The motivation for the F5 in Twister

  • looks like a terd

  • thumbs up if you saw that hidden image at 0:14

thumbs up if there is no 0:14

  • When I saw this I got scared but I was thinking is it moving or staying in the same place

  • Holy Cow!!!

  • this is gay

  • This thing was an F4 Tornado. I love how there are blue skies behind this destructive monster lol

  • AHHHHHH SCARY FACE POPPED OUT!!!

  • THAT IS SCARY

  • AAAAAHHHHH!!!

  • looks like some one farted ;p

  • That's an F3. But those bitches can get HUGE. Look up the F5 tornado and I swear to God you'll shit your pants...

  • holy god........................................

  • That's a scary lookin one

  • @Dilo22 YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • It looks like a giant fuckin turd spinning in circles

  • @stupidkid258 OMG ur good take out the f word and it would be funnier

  • @stupidkid258 DON'T SAY THAT!!! It's descendants might get angry and come to kill us!!! O.O WHAT IF IT MATED WITH AN F5?!?!

  • @stupidkid258 xD ikr

  • i think its an EF5 to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @MyKyndra It would have been an F3 (had it hit a town or city). Winds were estimated around 190 mph. Remember, the Fujita scale is based on damage, not how big a tornado is.

  • Is the f scale based on the damage it does or the size? And is there such thing as an f6 tornado? Jw... Plzz answer!

  • @livelovebeauty07 its based on damage and there thinking of adding f6 to the scale lolz

  • It's not a tornado it's just a large smoke fire

  • @ferrarimike23 That is not true. This IS a tornado. It hit Ash Valley, Kansas on August 30, 1974.

  • this was a F-0 tornado

  • He's right I saw it on a program its only a f1 nowhere near a f5 that tornado is only 110 mph a f5 is about 310 mph so there's no way that that's a f5 just look at the background

  • This tornado hit great bend kansas on august 30th 1974. It was rated f1 and only had 112 mph winds SO THEREFORE YOU JUST WASTED MY TIME.

  • I read where it was only rated F1 because it did not hit any structures and the NWS rates tornados by the damage done. If a tornado does no damage the NWS will rate it a F0 or F1. This film is slowed down so it is hard to determine the rotation velocity but I believe it could have been rated on the high end of the scale.

  • Okay, I will say this much, the tornado was strong above ground level. At about 900 feet above ground, the tornado had winds of 190 MPH. However, these winds did not reach the ground. At ground level, winds were around 112 MPH. Oh, and this footage is not slowed down. It just appears slower because cameras in the 70's couldn't take videos at higher frame rates.

  • Where are you getting your information about 190 & 112 ? This is from the 70's. They did not have the ability to measure winds speeds in the field , at ground level or any other level. My point about the rotation, the video does not give the tornado justice regarding the rotation. This at one time was probably the most impressive tornado video out there. I'm sure this could easily be F3 to F5.

  • I'm getting my information from "The Encyclopedia of Significant Tornadoes" In that book, the wind speeds were measured in the 70's using debris tracking. Scientists used video to track cloud tags on the tornado funnel itself. Then by measuring the distance over time, the could determine the speed of rotation. This practice is still used today. They used debris tracking to measure the winds in this tornado.

  • If the camera's in the 70's did not have high frame resolution (as you pointed out) then the time factor and calculations on this specific video were inadequate . IMHO.

  • Oh my gosh! God can make such cool weather! Thats scary.

  • looks like earth is just spinning about

  • o my god!!!!!! it's really.......wow.....

  • This tornado hit great bend KS. on August 30, 1974. it was rated F-0 because it hit no structures!

  • This wasn't rated anywhere near F5

  • Fake dude i have proof the clouds are blue

YOU FUKING SUCK GO SUK MY DICK

  • thats the weirdest tornado i've ever seen. Its like in the middle of broad daylight

  • It was an f2 morons it was strong as the one that attica, ia in the early hours of 5/30/08

  • actually it was an f-1
