  • Why not drive it.. I mean you have the money.. why not physically enjoy the car instead of just looking at it? Half of the beauty of the car is driving it (if not more). Guess I just don't get it.

  • i love this car but 0-60 in 6.7 seconds is not great...i mean my accord c6 coupe does 0-60 in 5.96 seconds with stick...and it has 271 hp

  • @BlackOpsAFG yeah but this was the car back than AND it will ALWAYS be the CAR

  • @BlackOpsAFG Because of traction issues, not power. Back in those days the Polyglas tires on those were the best they had to offer for traction. You throw a good set of tires on that thing and it'll toast your Accord.

  • @LXnastynotch93 not in a track it wont toast my accord

  • @BlackOpsAFG I'd give it a go to be honest. This is the baddest, meanest, most sought after Mustang ever built besides the 1967 GT500E (only one was built). Yes late model cars are better engineered and designed. They do offer more performance for less money. No matter how well late model cars perform, they will never have the character and soul of a classic car. There's just something about a muscle car that brings out the kid in everyone who drives and owns them.

  • Thats wrong. The shock towers were trimmed back but not moved. The spindles were what gave the 1 inch wider stance. Car Craft in Brighton Mi. AKA Cars and Concepts was the shop who did the work.

  • id say the 68 gt500kr beats this by a little. my uncle owns one and i wish i could drive it or even just ride. another uncle has a 69 or 70 mach one and the same 429boss model in this video. and another uncle has another mach 1. 3 of 4 sit in a shop not driven another in a garage not driven i think most work but theyhavnt been used for probably 20 or more years. who knows how much their worth in 4 out of 5 shape and how much engine or trany work would and anything else that might might be gone

  • dont even start the engine?? WTF!?!?!

  • BOSS!!!!!HOSS PERIOD

  • The 1970 Boss 429 in Grabber blue is my favorite.

  • my dad made and sold the very first Boss 429 Mustang

  • good lookin car! wrong motor T code LOL! nice car ugly KIKE driving!I never saw such a wimp!

  • man what a cheep wimp! Floor the fucker you cheep bastard! Its a non desired T motor! Im gonna post a video soon with my boss 429! Ill show you how its done! Wimp! I have the R version S motor And im not afraid to open it up.My car has 25000 miles on it! and Il still floor it!My little sister drives like you!

  • man i would love a car like this its so awesome and amazing

  • Awesome car. But don't be a pussy. As if the old man would gay-bar it around like that.

If you're too soft to drive it invest in property and let someone else enjoy it. Better still, put it in an auto museum so others can enjoy it.

  • chuck norris would have stepped on it and banged the gears!!!

  • Get on that Be-ot-ch!

  • My granny drives harder then that. Bad azz machine just wanting to be driven hard n this pussy drives her like a little bitch. Come on dude drive that fuck out of it or whats the point of owning a car like that?

  • I'M IN LOVE !!!!

  • The most expensive muscle car is a 1970 Plymouth Hemi Cuda convertable....Less than 20 were made....Your looking at $2-3million for an original one....As for the rarest...A 1967 Dodge Coronet Hemi convertable....Only 2 of these were made....Don,t know what there worth

  • The new Boss 302 was presented one day ago :)

  • its gay that the makes those gt's but not the bosses any more.

  • @dropafly , it's gay?... is that some junior high vocabulary.

  • @dropafly its back baby

  • people who dont drive em are wankers !

  • @christoraider It is THE rarest muscle car ever, when they go for $350,000 in "poor" condition, would you drive it around all the time?

  • @Aliasify yes

  • @Aliasify Actually not the rarest muscle car ever, not even close. Id say the rarest is most likely the 1968-69 Dodge Dart/Plymouth Cuda SS cars and they go for about a million for just the body if you can find it. Only made about 150. Would run 10 seconds stock in the 1/4 mile.

  • @Aliasify Oops I take that back the rarest of muscle cars is the 1971 Plymouth Cuda 426 Hemi 4-speed Convertable. They made about 50? Go between 3-8 Million.

  • That is a dream car in many many eyes. My 2nd favorite. My first would be the 1967 Shelby Cobra. But this is not very far behind it. What a gorgeous car.

  • Put it on a museum and buy a new one. I can't find any pleasure in owning a car that. He is so careful with it, he barely dares to touch it!

  • NICE CAR, NICE VIDEO - CHECK OUT MY 1968 SHELBY GT500KR ALL ORIGINAL in ORANGE (1 OF 3) i have A 428CJ!!

  • a friend has a 70 boss 429 , 4spd , 4.30 locker ; bought brand new in 70 . ran 12.6 with 9 in slicks ; ran 13.6 with street tires ! IT SPUN THRU 1ST GEAR ! he still has it ; rode in it 2 weeks ago . that car is wicked ! THE CAR IN THE VIDEO is A BEAUTIFUL CAR !

  • My uncle has one of these. It's a '70 Grabber Blue. He still has the 429 with very low mileage, but replaced it with a 351 Windsor.

  • @Darkgod171990

    why would he change motors

  • He told me he replaced the engine so he could occasionally, which I believe only one or two times, go on a joyride without putting more mileage on the 429 engine.

  • Why did he replace the extremely rare Boss 429 with a very common 351 Windsor?

  • So he could occasionally drive the Boss, without putting more mileage on the 429.

  • Ah, I see. I thought you meant he swapped out the Boss 429 engine for the 351 Windsor!

  • Heh, no sir, that would be insane!

  • aprox how much would 1 of them cost by the time im 20 and im 13 now cause im going to 2 years of military which would be aprox 80g, 40g a year would that be enough

  • @mojosmadness2

these cars in horrible shape sell for 30-40 thousand. in the shape of this one probly around 200 thousand

  • @mojosmadness2 you'll be lucky if gas isn't 20 bucks a gallon when you're 20..

  • </ aaa

  • ღმერთსი შემვედრე</

  • i ve seen two 69 boss mustangs i live in ohio... being i saw this 429 . ... i ve seen this one and a 302 69 boss mustang.... there a difference between the 69 and the 70 s. 69 are way more rare... but they both mostly look the same..

  • and the tailights and the scoop on the front fender

  • They were labled at 375 hp for insurance reasons, actually had closer to 575

  • holy shit that's one hell of a under-rating

  • 1970 was a better year for the 429

  • see this car every day at school my friend owns one

  • :35 seconds thats a bad ass mustang that would kick any chevys ass absolutely love this car badest muscle car of all time i don't give a f u c k what anyone says!

  • yeah well dito :)

  • I think everyone agrees with you!

  • riley why would u not drive that car i would drive that car in a heart beat

  • Nasty Car

  • is it just me or while driving it seem to have a weird bounce?

  • the stats of the car are fake you can't tell me a engine like that only produces 375hp. They said it only produces 375hp to keep the taxes low it realy produces more that 550HP and does 0.60 under 5 seconds stock

  • Your right, same thing goes for the 69 z28 camaro, your telling me that its 302 only pulls out 290hp, thats bullshit. But part of the reasont chevy did this is to keep the sales high on the SS 396 so people dont go "wait why is that little 302 have close to the same hp as my the 396"

  • Its a shame they only built that car to qualify that 429 engine for nascar. But even still those are some of the most beautiful mustangs ever produced

  • let me rephrase what you just said, the most beautiful mustangs ever built. nothing is cooler than a 69 mustang boss 429. every time I see these cars I jizz in my pants.

  • Why is it a shame they built it for Nascar?, 429's were open to the public too....

  • But the main reason they built the car was just to qualify the engine for nascar. i didnt say it wasnt open to the public

  • why would that be a bad thing?? And wasn't it built for Le Mans not nascar?

  • im not saying its a bad thing. Im just trying to say it a a fact (which it is).

  • such a shame that a car be built to go so hard and fast but never driven like it should be or not driven at all. tisk tisk

  • oh my god the car of dreams

  • and imagine. one day some stupid fuck forgets to stop at a light or somethin, then smashes your '69 mustang. wasnt even your fault, and now your dream car is totaled....i understand keepin 'em preserved. shit prob gets bad mpg anyway lol. id only drive on occasion

  • If they're rich enough to own one, they're rich enough to get it repaired!

  • I'd never be able to NOT drive a boss 429 "some people never turn on the engine."

HOW?? have they ever HEARD a boss 429??? crazy people.

    sexy sexy car.

  • beautiful car too bad nobody drives them anymore i consider it a waste of a car and money if you never drive them......but hey what do i know im just a stupid kid lol.

  • think of it this way. If people drove them now then future people wouldn't be able to appreciate them in the future

  • why wouldn't they? If you drive it is it gonna melt?

  • cars get in accidents people steal them and if you let a car sit outside to long the paint and interior fade

  • So what? That's why people restore them, sure there aren't gonna be as many in the future, shit happens, but at the same time why even buy one/ restore one if your not going to enjoy it? I'm restoring one right now and I can't imagine not driving it when I get done. I think people who do that regret it later on. Enjoy life, who cares about VIN numbers and stacks of money if you can't enjoy it?

  • 69 BOSS 429: white w/black lettering or the reverse... HANDS DOWN sexiest car EVER. Love 'em so much, I'll happily trade my rough '65 coupe w/ an injected 5.0 and ONE night with my 22yo wife for a solid '69 fastback shell to build a clone (I couldn't have the real deal even if I could afford one, would feel too guilty 'bout customizing it). Show me yours I'll show you mine, just don't be too old or fat, or she won't go for it.

  • So Ford used the 6 degree along with the 4300D carb for emission control instead of the thermactor. Wonder how much that affected drag times for the B351. Thanx for the reply.

  • Absolutely beautiful car ,BUT the trailer?????? Drive that thing!

  • Sorry to sound "picky", that's just me. Hope you hang onto your Boss for a long time. I've owned my B351 for 30 years now and have put on 100k miles myself. What did Ford set the timing at on B429s? They used 6 degrees on B351s.

  • I belive the stock initial timing should be at 10 degrees. Ive bumped mine to 12 (for total of 34 degrees@ 3500)

  • This guy should know better. An R code Mach1 is a 428CJ Ram Air with the "Shaker Scoop"! Being a big block, all 428s were 31 spline axles. To get the Detroit Locker. you had to order the "Super Drag Pack" which came with 4.30 gears.

  • All 1969 Boss 429's Started out as "R" coded- Dearborn builds ie: oil coolers, 3;91 gears, before made these cars "Z" codes, after about the first fifty cars were built,Ford did not ship the Mustangs to Kar Kraft, with the 428SCJ engines installed,They were "engineless". And Yes I know a whole lot more now about Mustangs,Than I did when That segment on my car was filmed,. Gregg M.

  • Hey nice video. You need to put some videos of your dads cars on here, very nice car keep up the good work

  • I agree,I want that car sooooooo bad!!

  • You only live once.

I'd go out there, have careful, but push the shit out of that car !

  • Count how many times he says "That's correct"

  • Yes I know poolguy1962: I think it was "19" times, My co-workers and Friends still give me heck for that! Hey I was just nervous! Gregg M.

  • That's Correct...that makes the whole thing that much more fun...

  • Ford once made bad ass cars! Dont get me wrong the new mustangs are to be respected however I doubt that they will live up to the legendary status that the older machines did. Fo Mo Co had real big balls in the 60's

  • so much history with this car. so beautiful. I dont have to start the engine. just sitting behind the wheel of these things gives me a great feeling. boss 429 aka shotgun hemi.

  • I love this car, the most beautiful car ever made.

  • @masklos Gonna have to say the most beautiful car ever made was the 1968-1971 Dodge Chargers.

  • if i had a car like that id drive it...

  • Man that's one hell on engine! I'm suprised that beast fit in there

  • I love all the '69 fastback bodies on all the mustangs, the gt500, 302, and the 429!

  • Nice car !!

  • This is like...The Bible for me!.

I'm willing to sell my soul just to start that engine!.

    And that's from a guy who own's a '69 boss 302!

  • My favorite 1969 Mustang of all time. My all time favorite classic Mustang is the 1968 Cobra Jet GT fastback though.

  • i'm going to prom next week in a 69' 429 yellow mustang

  • Have fun, take pictures, don't crash.

  • were do all you guys get your bull shit HP figures from 1500 HP my ass

  • besides anyone who thinks it's about HP has no apreciation for what this show is about. If all I want is more power I can get double the power these old cars have for half the cost of this machine. Its about enjoying the car for what it is the lines the unique engine the way it all fit together. heritage. couldn't care less if its a ford chevy or dodge its classic, somthing these new cookie cutter cars will never have.

  • Huge weight over the frontaxle.

The guy is not really pressing his foot is he?

  • i seriously doubt it considering he said that he didn't even plan on driving it until they asked.

  • No, I really didnt drive hard at all. Kinda just cruising around the Air Force Base here.

  • pretty kool mustang, but dad,s 33 Willys would make it look tame!!!!How.s pop and his gasser?

  • Good joke on the Willys. lmao

  • you mean your dad's REPLICA Willys?

  • factory upgradeable to 700hp. Suck on that chevy lovers. lol.

  • I couldn't agree more. Ford Rules!!!

  • dude chevys 350 all u gotta do is change out the pc and get 1500 horses so so on that ford

  • Right. No chevy 350 could be ordered from the dealer in 1970 with 700hp, never mind 1500hp. As for modern ford crate motors...

  • fords hemi!

  • nice video, have a look at the boss 429 in ieland, burnouts on the way to a show, drive the car, thats what its made for!

  • thanks for producing a pay tv quality show will be watching from now on, if your not on the tivo/ foxtel you should be!

i listed after this serious iron as a kid teen but then as now still cant muster up the cash needed, but watching the series you do is at least satisfying as owning.
