...that would pretty much guarantee that crime would decrease 'cause control of it could be taken away from the black market. That would generate much needed tax revenue. That would give us who can benefit from cannabis medically access to it legally and without worry of getting arrested like so many harmless people already have. Greed and corruption is keeping cannabis from being legalized and it's time that we stand up for our right to use cannabis responsibly now!

The opponents of legalization know they lost so they're trying one last argument against it. "It send the wrong message to the kids." This issue has little to do with the kids. They think if it's legal everyone will get high including the kids. The truth is it will be the choice of us adults of legal age (when they set age limits) and we can still send the message to kids that it's not okay to do drugs. It just baffles me that they wouldn't want to end the prohibition...
