  • how does it carv?

  • Nice! Seems really smooth! Were you just riding down a road on a gradual slope or something? Is this your first (made yourself) longboard?

  • V-LAM bamboo, i gotta try that

  • THIS IS C00L!

  • its a little thin

  • of course bearings have to do with speed, but you don't have to go out and buy bones swiss 6 or something more expensive, once you wheels can freespin for at least 3:30 seconds then they can not make you go any faster, the wheels make the biggest speed difference, the larger the wheel the faster you will go, try riding a skate, board then with 51mm wheels or so, the put longboard wheels on it around 70-75mm with the same bearings and see which one goes faster ;)

  • damn wide wheels

  • Where did you get the bamboo plywood?

  • the bamboo gives you enough flax with out being too bad where you have no pop coming out of corners, bamboo is a great material for cruising and beginners, but if you want a fast board go with a flex deck, such as a never summer heist, or a sector 9 tri-lam, both very fast, cheap downhill boards

  • i have a 41 bamboo phsyco,

but what good is the bamboo?

i havent actually got it yet, im getting it soon, but i dont know what the bamboo is actually good for?

and what makes speed? the weels or barrings? or deck?

  • bearings make the biggest speed difference, then wheels, then deck, some decks distribute the weight better and off the trucks, bigger wheels allow more travel in a shorter time, and bearings make the wheels spin easier

  • the berrings

  • the bearings deff have alot to do with your speed..you need to keep them clean and they will last longer and go much faster

  • @peoplecallmehannah id say mostly the barrings, the wheels help a bit too

  • @peoplecallmehannah bamboo is very flexible, it makes pumping and carving a dream

  • @peoplecallmehannah well the bearings are for speed the lighter your deck adds speed and the wheels hardness depends on how much terrain it can handle

  • @peoplecallmehannah bamboo is an incredibly flexy and strong wood, so you could probably jump on your deck like a trampoline and not snap it.

as for speed, the deck is usually for stability and how comfortable it is when you're bombing/sliding/carving, and the wheels impact the speed a lot.

a higher durometer will let you slide a lot more, and i think it goes faster, and a lower durometer grips the road more, and is smoother. bearings help a lot too. try bones bearings :D

  • that board looks awesome. I have a sector nine 55 inch nose rider and i took a skill saw and cut it to look exactly like the board in this video.

Now, i call it the death board. I was a good little idea but it completely threw the mechanics off on the ride. ;*( I still ride it but i wont bomb with it that would be a definite suicide.

  • nice board how much does it cost

  • how long is it....? how wide? how thick?

  • aaand first of all: how much does it weigh? ( just the deck?)

  • thats what she said!

  • you causing shit on another vid, get the fuck off this one.

  • where did you get the bamboo plys from

  • how did you make that one?

  • Wow man that thing looks bad asssssss. You really made it out of bamboo? how show me please i have many bamboo in my backyard

  • that board is such a pussy so small u cant do shit on that board

  • Comment removed

  • i like it

  • hey there, where did you get the bamboo plys? i cant find them anywhere.

  • read the info, he made it ;)

  • lol, he made the board yeah, but you have to buy the plys, you cant make the bamboo like that yourself unless hes a woodworker.

  • ah ok, tought u meant plys like in please, my bad ;p

  • lol, its alright.

  • r u sure u made that becouse i saw almost the exact same land yachts

  • what is that type of longboard called

  • you didnt make that

its to small you would get toe bite

the shape is weird it should of been wider

but it would be still kinda cool to cruise on i guess

  • thats so tight

  • its called a shlong dumbass. A SHORT-LONG board

  • your wrong..... a shlongboard is where you take a skateboard deck and out longboard wheels on the nose and tail of the board..

  • nice board man

  • that looks sweet mate.

    make it drop-through.

  • thats a dope board, looks like a rayne DH board. Or a mini hellcart or something haha.

How how are you spending on it? selling cuz I want one! ghaha

  • where do you get the bamboo?

  • i just got a 46 inch bamboo sector 9
