You have made good choice... my opinion of CI... i prefer to get some people to get them tell the experience of CI... i dont really like CI, but its all depend on the family but i think CI on the baby or newborn baby is ridiculous because they just born and start to damage the skin around the ear(s) of newborn babies
i totally agree with you about cochlear implant just like as if deaf people or deaf children put on assembly line to get CI like as become robots ( factory assembly line) to reduce deaf awareness and deaf culture.. that is why some people from government find ways to save money to close deaf schools or something like that to make it easier or technology from medical company to make profits to put CI on deaf people or kids, our deaf motto is Deaf people can do anything except hear.
Ouch... I am agreeing you point view about the child' mother... is very hard to make a decision... and you had a good point the last question!... as I am living in South America... the IC is very hard and influence... so is broking my heart!

ouch, that child was influenced by her parents. Maybe if the parents learned about the history, they would able to leave it alone.
