@Ransomnia you want better quality? upload it yourself. it was high quality when it was uploaded, but after two years it's obviously not going to look as good now isn't it? and back in 2010, 360p was high quality seeing as the concept of HD was still being introduced as a new kind of video format.
@legendarywar1 I don't understand this. They say that Doom 3 is the same thing of Quake 4, but hey are very different shooters. They are just in the same engine. Arent the shooters all similar ?
@Fabiolinks well, quake 4 and doom 3 are very similar. they both involve humans fighting aliens/monsters of a sort, and they're both set in the future. they also have similar gameplay and even the environments between the game are similar. even the stories are similar. quake 4 is pretty much just a less intense, less fun, and less interesting version of doom 3. i like it a lot, but that is pretty much what it is.
@sarminer that isn't the starcraft academy scream. that's the howie scream. it's a famous blood curdling screech that has been used in movies long before video games were created.
@legendarywar1 Well, it did pretty weak commercially. The multiplayer aspect was pretty much non-existant, which was a shame as Quake was a pioneer in that department. I wasnt feeling it storywise either. It was almost like playing Doom 3 all over again with the lights on.
Quake as I remember it was action oacked with fast-pace gameplay. Much of that was taken away in Quake 4.
@rastaxp i would agree with a lot of what you said. the multiplayer was terrible and it did not sell well, although whether or not it was a commercial success doesn't really determine whether or not it was a good game. the story wasn't so great either, and it did have a lot of similarities to doom 3. the thing for me was that i never played doom 3, so when i played quake 4 it felt like a fresh and even original experience, and since they're similar then i naturally liked it a lot.
@legendarywar1 Well, commercial success is often an effect of a good game. That is of course not true in all cases, but in general I would say that it is for sure a major factor one should take into consideration when discussing the overall impact of a game.
This game just didnt bring anything new to the table. It isnt given that a successful product should need to bring so many new aspects to it, but I just feel that Q4 (being a part of a great franchise) could evolve to something better!

@commandox20 look dude, the only reason i do this stuff is for fun. but i like getting views because they're the only reward i get for doing any of it. i could spend 5 hours editing an awesome video that i'm insanely proud of, and get nothing, but i can upload a stinkin' trailer in SD and slap HD in the title and get almost 9,000 views. it's frustrating, so that's why i'm such a dick on this vid, because regardless of how you try to appeal to them, most people don't end up liking it anyway.
